I strongly support a world-wide military with an aim for space exploration. Take all the money spent on war and spend it on space exploration/weaponry and medicine. Then we don't just have a better world... we have a start to understanding the worlds outside our own.
the problem is that the us gov (past and who knows now) hate science. Where I live (northern state), this would be considered a misdemeanor and carry a punishment of a year on probation, drug counseling and fines. The southern conservative states typically are ass backwards when it comes to drug sentencing.
