I think the chances of the altcoin season are still there this year because many people think that it's just that maybe this year's altcoin season isn't like what happened at the end of 2017 or the beginning of 2018 is a little different maybe that affects only a few altcoins.

Both of them use BTC blockchain, and their parameters (block size for instance) differ pretty slightly. i like magi as my older devices can handle the mining. However i do not see much trading activity. Hoping to get some insights here. Is my observation right? Last thing i want is to have 1000 coins but no one to sell to. lol
If indeed, do you have an alternative to recommend? devices with older cpu is my priority.

I know magi as it was one of the old coins where few coins did came to the community. There was a significant people following these small coins and mining but as the time passed, people realized there's not much to gain with these small coins as new generation coins and tokens came to the market. Magi along with hundreds of similar mining coins now lie dead as a memory. I don't think it would ever had a successful rejuvenation. It appeared in 2014 when half of the current investors and traders did not know about Bitcoin even. Nevertheless, Magi did not manage to show itself as the token, which can really bring any profit. There is no one reason to let this altcoin grow. In my opinion, the holders of this cryptocurrency should better choose another crypto and exchange XMG for it. |

IEO can prove to be more reliable when a good exchange that doesn't fake volume is been used to conduct the sales. There was a project from Australia that displayed this kind of data and all of a sudden, claim to have hit hard cap. Well the project would later scam and ran away with investors fund. Good IEO on a good exchange is less risky.
IEO is better sure. The key difference between IEO and ICO is that the organizer and intermediary between the project and investors is the cryptocurrency exchange or another platform (with IEO). So investors get a safe way of investing through a trusted party and guaranteed dates for placing a token on the exchange. The projects have the opportunity to attract a large number of investors. |

PoW isn't sustainable in the long-term, not for big coins anyway. Look at the energy expenditure for Bitcoin, it's insane. This can't continue forever. PoW is useful for new coins just starting out, but as they become bigger this approach becomes ever less sustainable.
PoS is one solution to this for mature coins, and can be an stable end state that resolves the energy issue.
Proof of stake will not replace POW for 100%. Although PoS is becoming much more popular now, it does not have such a great trust level like PoW. Anyhow, for usual traders, average guy, there will be almost no difference here. I think that we should better concentrate on the most profitable tokens and invest in them now as the market is expected to grow. |

i think tron will be highly successful in the long term as smart contract platform good luck for all investors how want to invest in tron and believe in it's future in the long term i will be one of them  TRON is definitely one of the best projects. I guess TRX has the highest chances to go up. Some optimists say that it is exactly this cryptocurrency, which can make you a millionaire if you invest much money in this token.
