421  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Mining Userbars on: July 01, 2011, 02:24:07 AM
I think I fixed the deepbit issue (again, a stupid typo) and I'll look into adding Triplemining. Looked into Triplemining, was unable to find JSON data for the workers. I can only add pools if they provide JSON data about the workers.

Thanks for trying. I'll ask the owner, MrSam to see about that.
422  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Triple your income from mining with mini-pools! on: July 01, 2011, 02:23:14 AM
well the promotion did not specify anything about having to stay.. just said which team can do 5Gh/sec first gets the 5BTC

I know. :-/
423  Bitcoin / Pools / New Version of guiminer on: July 01, 2011, 02:21:27 AM

I just d/l it and it ONLY shows triplemining in the dropdown. This is bad mojo.  Couldn't you just append to the list? .. and then release the file only? It would be like an add-on, but not.

EDIT: sorry for double posting.
424  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Triplemining - How to guide to awesomeness! (GUIMiner only) on: July 01, 2011, 02:01:16 AM
Yeah, I'll fill in a blank. . . where you put your referral code, lol.
425  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Triple your income from mining with mini-pools! on: July 01, 2011, 01:56:58 AM
We need MrSam to lettuce know what's gonna happen. I know the jackpots are instant (personally speaking Wink) but this bounty should be sent AFTER the block is solved, or after July 7th as stated as the contest end window. IMHO.
426  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: New Pool: Triplemining.com || 0.5 BTC jackpot every day special || on: July 01, 2011, 01:37:08 AM
Hey, I'm getting connection issues on my 2nd computer. (I mine with my everyday computer, and a dedicated 1 GPU rig)

Think the new GUIminer version will fix this?

Oh, and looks like someone copied my siggy banner idea. They say copying is the most sincerest way of flattery.

EDIT: Unless I missed something, I have the latest version, 11-06-14 and it does NOT have TripleMining in the dropdown. I even downloaded it again. (the official thread lists the latest miner as the version I already have, and the same in the PNG used in the guide)
427  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Triple your income from mining with mini-pools! on: July 01, 2011, 01:31:09 AM
Yea nice were @ 20G Hashs with 80+ miners  Grin

21 now Cheesy

it was obvious someone with powerfull rigs would go for the prize pretty soon

Yeah, good for Sam, good for the block, but not if Team The Koolio leaves before our 1st block is solved.
428  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Minipool exclusive: 5Gh/s === 5 BTC on: July 01, 2011, 01:09:02 AM
ok so it looks like the price is already won  Smiley

What? OMG.

So what's to stop Team TheKoolio from moving away from TM once the bounty is paid?
429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Link Exchange on: June 30, 2011, 06:01:06 PM
Okay, use IF statements. But how will the website owner utilize them? I don't know .js
430  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Triple your income from mining with mini-pools! on: June 30, 2011, 05:36:48 PM
Jackpot fell at: 09:31 (GMT)
Winner of the jackpot: PandaMiner

any pandaminers around here? congrats Wink

Yes, I believe there is.  I woke up to a nice email this afternoon.

And you signed up as "bitcoin" lol.  Nice referral address. Wink

I got two in my mini pool, but they never sent a hash over. I wonder if they couldn't figure it out, or just didn't like the front end?
431  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: New Pool: Triplemining.com || 0.5 BTC jackpot every day special || on: June 30, 2011, 05:28:25 PM
I just woke up to a nice email. I won the jackpot!
Congrats! Cheesy

Thanks.  Grin

Update:
GUIminer modified to work with Triplemining -> https://www.triplemining.com/img/gui.png
What's different with this miner? I'm hashing along fine with the old version 3011-05-01?
Try it out .. i'm getting better results with this one ..

OMG, how did you get a version from 100 years in the future Oldminer? lol.

The only difference is that TripleMining has been added to the drop-down list. I'm hashing away with my 2011-06-14 version just fine.  But I always like to have the latest versions.
432  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: New Pool: Triplemining.com || 0.5 BTC jackpot every day special || on: June 30, 2011, 05:19:34 PM
The jackpot fell!

Submitting share at that time was from PandaMiner ... 0.5 BTC has been transferred to his bitcoin address ! Smiley

I just woke up to a nice email. How cool.

So, I got 2 members in my pool, but they're not hashing. I guess they liked my banner in my siggy, but not the site?
433  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Asus M3N72-D not recognizing Sapphire 6790 in either slot on: June 29, 2011, 11:19:01 PM
I put the card in my everyday (msi 870a-g54) pc and it works.  I don't think the asus m/b could handle that much power..  it only had a 4-pin power connection.  I dunno.  But now neither card works on the asus.  Strange. Maybe I fried something.
434  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Asus M3N72-D not recognizing Sapphire 6790 in either slot on: June 29, 2011, 07:40:59 PM
Asus M3N72-D Specs

It has 2 pcie(1.0) slots, that when in tandem, run at x8. But that's not the problem.

I have a working XFX 6870 that works in either slot.  The Sapp doesn't work at all, in either slot. It is powered, the fan spins, the PC posts with 1 beep, but I get no output. The card has 2 DVI outputs, and neither one puts out.

When I put the 6870 back in, (in either slot config) it works but the Sapp doesn't. Windows 7x64 doesn't even recognize that there is a second card present.

I don't know what to do next.

Can someone point me in the right direction? I'm losing mining time.  Shocked

You deleted the opening quote tag with the relevant information from my post.  Here it is below (if you want to edit your post):
Code:
[quote author=PandaMiner link=topic=23789.msg300407#msg300407 date=1309317851]

How are you going to implement categories? I'm thinking purely html. How about an extra class?

Quote
<div id="bitcoinlinks">
<h3>Other Great Bitcoin Sites</h3>
<ul>
<li class="cat_info">
<a target="_blank" title="Bitcoin" href="http:// startbitcoin.com/">Bitcoin Guide</a>
</li>
<li class="cat_info">
<a target="_blank" title="Bitcoin Blog" href="http:// bitcoinprofits.us/">Bitcoin Profits</a>
</li>
<li class="cat_finance">
<a target="_blank" title="Invest in startup companies using your bitcoins" href="http:// www.btcvc.com/">Bitcoin Venture Capital</a>
</li>
</ul>
</div>

That way with CSS, the webmaster can choose not to display certain classed items.

Quote
/* CSS for bitcoinlinks */
DIV#bitcoinlinks ul li.cat_finance {display:none;}

I understand what you're saying, teukon.  But now I wonder how the client and the pools are using the prefixes.  This matter is so trivial, that I'm not even going to waste time finding out. Cheers!
437  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin7 a new exchange on: June 29, 2011, 04:02:36 PM
Thanks.

I'm a dummy.  Well, mostly a dummy. I blame firefox.

You see, the "label" for the receive address is called "address" and firefox pre-populates all fields labeled "address" with my email address associated with a domain root name.  Sigh.

I didn't think anything of it. It says Address. In my humble opinion, to avoid other dummies like me from getting confuzzled, the html should be changed to call it "Your Bitcoin Address" (like the software does), and the label too.

I see they don't have the for="" filled out. Tsk tsk.

Code:
<div class="row">
  <div class="text"><label for="">Address:</label></div>
  <div class="field"><input type="text" name="address" value="" size="25" /></div>
</div>

valid html should be the following....
Code:
<div class="row">
  <div class="text"><label for="btc_address">Your Bitcoin Address:</label></div>
  <div class="field"><input type="text" name="btc_address" value="" size="25" /></div>
</div>

438  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: What Kinds Of DDoS Attacks Are Pools Most Vulnerable To? on: June 29, 2011, 02:17:02 PM
Hey, at least it's "distributed" denial of service, lol.
439  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Triple your income from mining with mini-pools! on: June 29, 2011, 02:15:39 PM
So let's get in on the ground floor then, lol.

I like the front end. The colors are soothing, and the start-up bounties are unique.

I joined using Oldminer's link.  Oldminer, can you tell us how the "my pool" page looks with a miner in it?
440  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: New Pool: Triplemining.com (make up to 3times more than any other pool) on: June 29, 2011, 02:06:03 PM
I just got yesterday mining  and won the jackpot 0.5
