Thank you. Like I suspected, you are not selecting an other ship to switch to, but the ship you are already in.

On both your screenshots you are piloting a non-wrecked Privateer (like, I assume, you wanted).

The "◎" symbol shows which one you're piloting currently. The error message is correct.

now when i am using 3 privateers i lost like 5 k gold to another bug....i was hunting in pvp , a pirate killed one of my privateer but didnt teleported me back at outpost, that means i will need like 5k satoshi to transport it back there...is not ok to lose becouse of bugs.....

When you die, your active ship (the one you are currently piloting, the one that just got wrecked) is transported to a safe station. This does not affect any of your other ships at all. They stay as they were.

So I think what you describe is expected behavior. But please elaborate if I misunderstood you.

Toe could you fix my mothership problem? I tried it for week now and I saw that someone else spawned it in a matter of hours.

Wait, what, really? There were going to be some changes regarding this in the next update, but now I'm not sure they are actually any good. Oh, well.

There is also some pirate chatter (Arrr!) regarding sector cleansing that should give you some feedback on your progress. This is temporary.

* When crafting materials below your skill level (in other words, when there is a zero chance to burn ingredients) you now receive ZERO points. On the other hand, if you're doing materials way above your skill level, you receive X2 points.

As far as rockets go, here's the run-down of the current rules:

- If you are docked to station when rocket hits, you get +10000 evade bonus.
- However, stations will not allow you to dock if any rockets are following you.
- If you are on a planet when rocket hits, you get smallish evade bonus.
- Planets allow you to land per their laws, as usual; don't care about rockets following you.
(In the future, the planet thing will probably be re-worked to be more intricate.)

sry, didnt know about chat...if u are stil here can u join chat again to talk to u about this bug...maybe i can try to make some screen shots, probably will take me some time....or a place where u can talk about some things.. orbital cannon and so on...at sliecine laser saw is 250 dmg but orbital canon has no dmg there, and i am sure noone has one to know about dmg....maybe in future i will invest in an orbital canon and i want to know if is worth 1,5 mil satoshi or more for hole investment...thanks

Sorry, someone will have to bite the bullet and be the first to figure out the whole Orbital Cannon thing. But just to re-iterate my point, it does not deal "Hull Damage" it deals a whole different type of damage, and whatever precise number I throw at you won't help much.

Regarding the switching bug, I think I've got everything needed. Are you 100% sure you are selecting an other ship to switch to? Sorry for this mildly insulting question, but this needs to be established.

I believe I already addressed the rest of your inquiries, but if you have more - shoot.

me again Smiley) i want to ask u if what i will say is bug or stupidity....if my privateer is wrecked i can change him with my first ship and go again to hunt, mine or do whatever i want if my first ship is on the respawn outpost.....i bought another privateer to do the same that i was with the first ship but this time will not let me switch from my wreced privateer to the one that is full hp and i dont undestend why...i suposed is a bug, becouse i can do that with first ship but not with privateer.....thanks and i am waiting for an answer

You are supposed to able to switch ships at will, like you describe. If you can't, it's most likely a bug.

I just tried it, though, and can't reproduce this easily -- seems to me switching is working fine, and having 2 ships of the same type does not trigger any additional problems.

Could you please double-check things on your end?

Hello again and thanks for the answers.....I have other question becouse, mainly becouse i want to purchased a mauler and i dont know if is worth the investition, the energy and hull armor will cost me also alot....

1. Slicing laser from gpd cruiser is killing me from 1 hit or it do like 250 maximum dmg?
2. like how much hp have the gpd cruiser, can be destroyed, did it drop anithing.
3. if i destroy it will apear another imediatly?
4. orbital cannon can destroy a planet from one hit, and what is his maximum dmg?

Well, don't be too fast to dismiss player input, for example the above answer by 5leepyJoe was near damn perfect, literally not a word to add.

Anyways,

1. I believe you can check out the stats for the Slicing Laser when it's on sale. Generally, there's no such thing as "unlimited damage", every item has a pretty specific stat.

2. GPD cruisers can definitely be destroyed. I'm a bit unclear about the loot, you'll probably have to find out yourself. As far as HP goes, you can easily determine it the regular way, by poking it :)

(1+2 Ask around, I believe those things are pretty well-known to the community at this point.)

3. Yup, they respawn pretty quickly. It gives you a small window of opportunity, but it really is small.

4. Orbital Canons deal what we call "Planetary" or "Orbital" damage. It is really devastating, but it won't destroy a planet in one hit. Note: this is a measure of last resort / WMD kind of thing, hopefully only to be used as a negotiation tactic and not as a real weapon.

Also, please expect re-balancing/nerfs in all those areas. This is pretty high-end stuff with rather shocking effects... The Slicing Laser was not supposed to be on sale at all, this is a bug-turned-feature kind of situation, that might still change.



Some pirates with rocket launchers still deal direct hull damage. It's a bug, but not a serious one - they are just old-timers, who were generated before the related fix. Please just kill them all, so the galaxy can finally move on.

I think my CPU rate was decreased from 11 to 7 just today, I'm not exactly sure what happened. On the website it said that using VPNs were allowed.
Is there any way to fix this?

On a side note, I destroyed two pirate ships and got no loot for both. Is that supposed to happen?

As far as pirates go, it depends. It's possible you just missed the looting window (e.g. by docking to a station). It's also possible you've encountered a buggy pirate from an older batch. It is also possible that particular pirate did not have any loot, for legitimate reasons. In any case, you can see your hunt rolls (rolls/hunt URL) to make sure.



Two issues I would like to bring in discussion:

1. The "Take notes" button on Stations doesn't do anything. At least I don't see it. I am using Chrome.

2. I've heard small complaints that you have to verify captcha too often when crafting at an industrial rate. As a small suggestion, would it be possible to add a feature to the main bar where you can display the captcha, for faster verification?
Edit: With this point I haven't taken into consideration any technical reasons you might have for not implementing a quick-verification feature.

1. They are supposed to add notes to the "Your notes" section on the map. Might be broken, though, thanks for the report.

2. We do not indeed load it on other pages to reduce unnecessary bloat, but something probably could be done. Added to the list.



Toe. I know its weird to self-nerf yourself. But i think its a right thing to do. Make a CPU recipe worse. Its total costs without burning is 4,5k satoshi and its possible to sell it for 6,4k. Add one 20nm to its costs.

PS - could you fix the graphics of gdp woman. Its the weakspot in the "first impression" of the game. Its neck is a little too long. She looks like african tribe woman.

She is kinda scary but thats not a nice thing to say about african tribe women o_O

She is cybernetically augmented, of-course she is going to look scary. :)



Tiny update: the implementation of DOGE bank broke satoshi withdrawals, so we're reverting this. (Meaning: BTC withdrawls now work fine, DOGE do not). We'll return DOGE withdrawals on the next big update.

GPD and CONS cruisers guard their respective sectors against any player-vs-player attacks (and that includes planets as well). So yeah, they would protect your planets too.

Oh, woah, thanks for the report! Not sure at what point exactly this happened, but yeah, lots of equipment has gone missing from NPC market!

Hopefully fixed now, the effects will only become visible on the next price re-roll.

Toe can you reveal how far are we in clearing terebelum-e from pirates? Are we even relativly close to mothership. Is it like 10% 20% or more.

Ugh, looks like it's ~0.1%, which is weird. It can't be this low. I'm not entirely sure, but something is probably broken, so thanks for the report! I'll get back to you about it.

And does the pirate loots got worse? For some brief time it was too good to be true, and now its too bad to be true. Get some stance on this Tongue Dont change it from like hero to zero, and zero to hero in few days Tongue. It f***s with my mind a bit how fast those loot rewards are changing.

And yes you can check i was getting 1 iron plate, 1 copper plate, 1 40nm. Its like pirate loot is back to old pattern.

The loot pattern has not been changed in quite a while. The only thing changed in that area is the "strange items" category, which was incorrectly introduced, then hastily removed, and finally re-enabled again.

Maybe those were indeed the olden pirates? If you're seeing pirates without the "loot seed", those are definitely old-timers, spawned long long time ago. Please check your hunt rolls.

Nope, they weren't! The only thing coming to my mind is a tiny bonus that was added to Mining+Prospecting. I'm resorting to "probably your luck" reply for now, but I'll double-check if everything is in order.

The BUF 100 Shield generator was nerfed- it only generates between 12 and 18 shield at random rather than the consistent 25 that it used to, which is rather frustrating because it costs 50 energy to operate, *and* the shield depletes 1 per minute. Was this nerf intentional?

Yeah, BUF100 was supposed to be a support item. This nerf discourages its use for tanking and encourages helping out. That being said, you can still get it back to full 25 by leveling up your Recharge skill, and not by much.

Little word of warning - the shielding mechanic is probably going to be fine-tuned some more, as it's very new.

No, there are currently no items in the game that can be directly applied to your ship (for upgrades or other effects).

Could you please elaborate on this? Would it just be an addition to the type of withdrawals that can be made or is the game currency now entirely based on doge coin instead of BTC?

Ugh, trust me, I would've made a much larger post on such an occasion :) In fact, thinking something like that is even possible shows a deep misunderstanding of our principles :( But I don't blame you, it's entirely my own fault, shows how good at communication I am. To make up for it, I'll try my best to explain this feature (without spoiling too much).

But to clear up,
NO, SatoshiGalaxy is not going to switch to DOGE (or LTC, or ETH or whatever). Not now, not ever.
You can quote me on that.

I personaly dont think that the game has anything to do with Dogecoin. It makes game more of a joke to some. The idea of a game is very bold and good and thats why it should refrain from things that are not so serious.

It is a bit of a joke, even to us. "Blog post" follows, but TL;DR version for you is that if you absolutely and uncompromisingly hate dogecoin, could you please find it in your heart and ignore it?



So the main point here is that we are always on a lookout for things that make in-game economy more dynamic. Our reliance on BTC is one such "fun" thing, because it adds real world as an entropy source. So we always toyed with an idea of adding other cryptocoins into the mix.

In the meantime we were developing (a bit of strong word, huh) a new item, that was supposed to fit in a very important niche in the ingredient hierarchy. By a happy(?) accident, this item and the newly introduced crypto are one and the same.

Lastly (to answer "why DOGE"), people have repeatedly asked us for withdrawals in this coin. Apparently, some other game(s) accepts them as deposits, and people don't want to pay the exchange fees for dust, and such. A bit esoteric, and probably completely unneeded. But we want to be a part of larger crypto community (which includes DOGE, love it or hate it) and it was easy enough to implement, thanks to faucetbox. If this motivates people to withdraw more, the better.

Yes, you can withdraw those ridiculous coins directly to your wallets.
You don't have to, it's just an option.
No, it's not a good alternative to an exchange, you'll loose about 50% or even more.
You can hold on to them, maybe they'll go into orbit one day?

Some random notes, not to convince anyone, but just to make our line of thinking more clear:
- DOGE is associated with "fun and games"
- DOGE has a pretty good reputation (no black markets, etc)
- More memetic than LTC, probably the second most known coin

I really and honestly do appreciate the notion of our in-game copper ore being more valuable than doge coins (as one E-Mail eloquently put it).

One is only good as long as SG is good, the other will probably survive a bit longer, thanks to all the miners (but we'll see about that). I promise you, that
the day DOGE falls down to 0 satoshi we'll be removing it and changing to some other coin. But we do want some other coin to exist right inside the game world, as a game item, for reasons explained above.

Seriously, though, that level of trust and appreciation of the in-game world is something we're really happy to see. All the DOGE hate has been heard and will be evaluated. It's a bit of a shocker, really, we were hoping for a much more positive response, but, well, point taken.

Oh, and despite the recent bounty bug (yikes, our programmer got scolded), our policies regarding Players' satoshi balances are very strict. Unless the situation is absolutely critical, we would never touch someone's balance. There are several in-game mechanisms that prevent us from tampering with that number (for example, gifts are issued in form of items).

Silently going and converting all that into DOGE (or into whatever) would breach like 15 of our principles at the same time.

This is a BTC game, and BTC is life. Maybe I haven't expressed that enough (or ever), but we're all BTC fanatics. We don't hold any (serious) DOGE, nor have any stake in it, nor condone it's usage.



Final question. Do you guys hate all altcoins equally? Would LTC been better than DOGE? Just collecting some data here.

I have finished a research at a planet Alienos but nothing happened yet. At least i think i did because the progress is at 100%. Notifications of profile still shows i made some progress in x reaserch. Its kind of sad i didnt get nothing because the reaserch was rushed for a literaly hundreds of bodies.

I think the problem here is that the planet itself is uplinked somewhere else and is researching something else. This probably should not be allowed. Please try to remove the "Alienos -> Somewhere" link, and see if that helps.

Yes those changes are nice. I was about to ask if you would support some pvp arena event. The idea is to announce a gathering of willing players in one sector and do a free for all bountyhunter fightfest. The devs could support such an idea by announcing an ingame message or and place a bounties on players that would be currently at that particular sector. Btw my cpu per captcha is only 3. Could you fix it?

Great idea! I don't have powers to assist, like disabling GPD cruisers or pirates in a sector, but announcing this and giving out some bounties should be doable!

What is going on with the UI?

Everything is wrapping to the left of the screen and getting pushed down.
