421  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Impact of Bitcoin Price Manipulation by Major Exchange, What's your take. on: April 18, 2018, 01:19:52 PM
There were no evidence of these bitcoin exchanges manipulating the price of bitcoin. Though there are cases on the former CHinas bitcoin exchanges but were now closed. But the exchanges can also affect the price of bitcoin when they sell their bitcoin or bought many bitcoin but this is not manipulation. Manipulation is when they fake the volume of bitcoin or dollars in their site, but there are no clear evidence about it so this is just a conspiracy theory.
422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anonymous Account Shifts 6,500 BTCs in the Morning, but There are Still 188,000 on: April 18, 2018, 01:09:15 PM
That wallet have released 8k worth of btc from April 17 and 18. About 6500 btc were sold last April 17, 2018 and today April 18, 2018 he have released another 2k bitcoins. It is also true that he has still 185,554 btc in his wallet. The reason he sold his btc was not clear but if he will continue to sell his btc in huge volume then we will see bitcoins value fall back to 7000 dollars.
423  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Update April 18 on: April 18, 2018, 12:41:57 PM
So far the bitcoin market is doing good and prices never fall below 7700$ but it also never goes up beyond 8200$. Though right now we may see that the support on bitcoin allows it to go back to 8000$ even a huge dump. But sad to say that it has a difficulty climbing up due to low trade volumes. But we are still positive that before December comes the rise of bitcoin will start again.
424  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Trading Platform LocalBitcoins Requires Personal Information on: April 18, 2018, 12:30:16 PM
Criminality, scams, money laundering are some of the reasons why the government are requiring all exchanges to have a KYC and AML compliance. This compliance will require all users to supply their valid information as well as their identification cards and valid documents. Aside from those requirements this is also a way of the government to know the bitcoin holders who have earned so they can tax them accordingly.
425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Price Growth: At current price level, 9 000 000%+ since July 2010 on: April 18, 2018, 12:27:08 PM
Well those FUD and fake news are causing some panic to the bitcoin holders and some of them sold their bitcoins due to it. Even though bitcoin have grown so much in value since 2010 but there are still who said bitcoin is gonna die. Well those who always say that have bought bitcoin at a higher value and panicked when it dropped in value and sell their bitcoins. After that they will make comments that bitcoin is fraud and will soon be dead.
426  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto has amnesia and has distinct characteristics of Mr.Robot on: April 18, 2018, 12:22:22 PM
That was a funny story and though it become trivial to some but it really is a fictional and creative thinking. The disappearance of nakamoto even in this forum became a mystery that attracts many hypothesis and theories about his disappearance. Some even said that he died, while some his disappearance was to protect his identity from the eyeing public and the government.
427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will There Be a "Digital Run" on the Banks? on: April 18, 2018, 12:18:56 PM
This is one good compilation of the different situations between the banking system and the banks. We can actually observe by reading many articles that even banks and governments are planning to launch their own cryptocurrency. Others such as the G7 central banks are planning to invest on cryptocurrency. This news are examples that though bitcoin has no impact yet on fiat currency but it has a huge impact on the banking system.
428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Price Crosses $8k After Losing $200 Following A Whale Dump Of $50M on: April 18, 2018, 12:14:54 PM
Yesterday, bitcoin lost more than $200 of its value and dropped down to $7,870 after a whale unloaded $50 million worth of BTC in a single Bitfinex trade. This came just a day after the third largest wallet let go of about $50 million bitcoin. However, BTC price is back to being over $8k.

Over $100 million BTC unloaded in 24 hours

A few days back, Bitcoin enthusiasts got a reason to be happy about as its prices crossed the $8,000 mark. However, this crossover was short-lived as yesterday, as bitcoin got dumped down to $7,870. Over the course of 20 minutes, the price of several cryptocurrencies took a hit.

I dont know if this is probable or not. I am analysing the possibilities that such big whales have disposed of their bitcoins with and aim to create a domino effect which in turn will cause panic selling. But it did not happen and that the efforts to crash bitcoins value was unsuccessful. With these we can say that bitcoin is strong at 8k dollars that even if it was hammered with a 50 million dollar worth of bitcoins it still goes back up.
429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thomas Glucksman: Bitcoin could reach 50k$ by December of 2018! on: April 18, 2018, 12:02:46 PM
Thomas Glucksman, a head of APAC business development at cryptocurrency exchange Gatecoin said that bitcoin could hit 50k$ at the end of 2018. Likewise, Mick Sherman, co-founder and CEO of Hercules Tech said that cryptocurrencies will grow big this year.

Those statements are overwhelming, it may sounds bullish but somehow there has truth in it.

http://business.inquirer.net/246286/bitcoin-hit-50000-end-2018

I highly doubt that unless big money (banks, funds etc.) enter the market the next few months and really inflate the prices again.

Have you heard that central banks of the G7 is going to invest in cryptocurrency and this may hype the system. Other news was that the Islamic Scholars have said that bitcoin can be used by Muslim as it is not against the Shariah Law. Also Tom Lee predicts bitcoin to reach 50k$ by December. There are many developments and companies accepting bitcoin is lining up this 2018. The possibility is very high.
430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Halal or Haram: A Shariah Analysis on: April 17, 2018, 01:17:01 PM
Bitcoin is in accord to the Shariah Law. What is being taught in that law that a muslim should not engage is gambling. Bitcoin is a currency and at the same time it is like a commodity like gold and thus it cannot be considered gambling. Some muslim scholars have already have this viewpoint and said that bitcoin is healthy to be used by the Muslim community.
431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Update April 17 on: April 17, 2018, 01:09:45 PM
I was expecting that after the exchanges and bitcoin holders pay their taxes at the United States of America Treasury there will be no more huge dump at the exchanges just to pay their taxes in dollars. This could mean that we will have a more stable value of bitcoin at 8k$ this month and also if there will be a good demand to bitcoin the resistance that holds bitcoin down is much lesser. Hope to see bitcoin recover this April.
432  Economy / Speculation / Re: What would be the effect in price of Bitcoin if Mid. East will adopt it ? on: April 17, 2018, 12:55:42 PM
If Bitcoin will be used for trading oil what price do you expect?

It is hard to predict what will the price of bitcoin if the middle east will invest into bitcoin. The Middles East is one of the most populated areas in the world and also one of the richest countries in the world as they have the biggest oil sources in the world. If those big players will enter into this world of bitcoin then we can expect bitcoin to reach 100k4 to 200k$ by Next Year.
433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US and Cryptocurrencies: Tax Payment is a Rarity on: April 17, 2018, 12:39:37 PM
Well this is the new trending topic here in this forum. It was said that not ally crypto holders are willing to pay their taxes. Well if we look at the bitcoin crash that is possibly the reason why those gainers last year become losers this year and thus they cant afford to pay their taxes. But to those who have encashed their bitcoin profit then they should be taxed.
434  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has Bitcoin reached its goal? on: April 17, 2018, 12:28:27 PM
I'm not referring to the price of Bitcoin (we all know it's going to be $250,000/coin by 2022), but the goal that it would be a legitimate alternative to inflationary government fiat currencies.  When the altcoin market is examined, it is inextricably linked to the price of Bitcoin.  Where Bitcoin goes, so does the rest of the cryptocurrencies.  There's even somewhat of a dismissive attitude toward other crytpos in some investment circles; strangely this was a similar sentiment held by those "respectable" investors when Bitcoin was in its infancy.

What do you think?  I'd love to hear from some crytpo veterans.

Bitcoin is still very young and it need to grow before it can fulfill its destiny of becoming a form or medium of exchange in buying goods and services in any society. Today there are still few users in the world and mostly of the bitcoins were ate the hands of the big whales. As long as bitcoin is not distributed to the masses and it is not used in daily activities in life then bitcoin have not reached its full potential. Remember it is not about the bitcoins price but is about its purpose.
435  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SAMSUNG will use blockchain technology to manage global shipping network on: April 17, 2018, 12:23:56 PM
The global electronic giant will use blockchain technology to manage the company's global shipping network. Samsung Electronics is considering the introduction of blockchain accounting to improve global tracking of shipments worth tens of billions of dollars a year. The system can reduce shipping costs by up to 20 percent, Samsung analysts say.

https://www.investopedia.com/news/blockchain-may-cut-samsungs-shipping-costs-20/

After reading there is no such mention of creating or accepting cryptocurrency  as a mode of payment thus this has no connection to the cryptocurrency world. The only thing related is the use of blockchain technology. Blockchain Technology is very useful in tracking their shipments all over the world and not only Samsung have an eye on this technology but also to some big shipping companies.
436  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Increased SegWit Adoption May have Finally Solved Bitcoin’s Fee Problem on: April 17, 2018, 12:15:26 PM
If segwit be implemented on all levels of bitcoin activities, business then a fast transaction and lesser fee will open the doors of the merchantile world to bitcoin. Bitcoin mainstreaming will be possible if bitcoin will have less fee and fast transaction confirmation. Though we may not feel it today but businesses are starting to accept and adopt bitcoin on the different parts of the world.
437  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tax Time is Here and Lots of Cryptocurrency Holders Don’t Care on: April 17, 2018, 12:12:20 PM
In the U.S. tax season has arrived and many American cryptocurrency proponents are squirming because they have to pay for some of the gains they made last year. However, there are a lot of digital currency holders who could care less about taxes and they strongly believe that taxation is antithetical to cryptocurrencies. While there is a good portion of digital currency holders planning to file their gains and losses, many crypto-advocates don’t plan to pay their tax liabilities.

what do you think the crypto coin tax should be required or not Shocked Wink

Well tax is not a bad thing for bitcoin but we cannot blame people for not paying bitcoin taxes since they have experienced possibly a loss in profit when bitcoins value crashed from 20k$ to 6700$. This is really a pain in the heart but maybe they are waiting for bitcoin to rise again before they will pay their taxes. But hope it will get well soon.
438  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how to create BTC WALLET? on: April 17, 2018, 12:07:34 PM
PLEASE SUGGEST

You dont need to create a wallet. Creating a wallet is a very tedious and difficult thing to do since it is very technical thing. You need to download some software and there are many things to do. It maybe easy to experienced people but to beginners it seems hard so I recommend that you find a good wallet hosting website such as blockchain.info. All you need to do is sign-up and you will have an instant wallet in their site.
439  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Seller pays fee option? on: April 17, 2018, 12:03:24 PM
When you pay by card or Paypal the seller pays any fees related to the transaction.  Does BTC allow anything similar?  It would make it more customer friendly.

Bitcoin has a different way of doing things. But somehow there are similarities, since when you use card or paypal and the seller pays the transaction but actually that transaction fee is actually being paid by the client and was already added on the item beforehand. In bitcoin transactions, it is the payer or sender that shoulders the transaction fee and the only difference between bitcoin transaction and card is that in bitcoin the client or sender pays the fee directly.
440  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rothschild Family and Bitcoin on: April 17, 2018, 11:56:48 AM
Rothschild family is entering in bitcoin market.

What may happen, is it a good news or bad news?

How much can it go wrong?

Any ideas?

It is both good news and bad news. It is good news on the sense that if they enter the market surely the price will hit not just the moon but also pluto. A huge surge in value will occur when they enter bitcoin. The problem is that they will huge amount of bitcoins and they will be  on the top of bitcoins food chain and they will have monopoly. Also if they plan to destroy bitcoin they will dump it when the price was too high and a huge crash will occur that would destroy bitcoin economy will occur.
