I engaged with young people and layman people in my communities on the quest of exposing them to cryptocurrency. During the period I discovered that they find It so difficult to understand the concepts, they are so much acquainted with fiat currency and traditional ways of making payment transactions.
I will be impress If I can get a valuable ways and methods in making them understand what cryptocurrency is all about and engage them actively.
I would say the practice is probably a good way to make people understand, Look at Andreas, he is always trying this in his speech. If we look at history and how we adopted new currencies we see an exponential evolution. The first ones using an object as the value of exchange was the birds. And the first thing to trade was sex. Well, from barter to gold (first new currency) It took over 5000 years to be adopted worldwide. ( Think about the face from a Farmar who instead of getting tomatoes for he`s potatoes get a golden stone!!) Then, Someone says... No, No, Gold is not appropriated, let's use PAPER money, a so we evolved to what we know now. ( took over 500 years) Then the Plastic Money appears, This is still in adoption, for more than 50 years. So, About Bitcoin, we need some fresh generations with agile fingers with Pcs a mobile to get old. Well, no one knows, but I think it might take a while still... good day. |

I`m from Spain, here we are seen a lot of adoption recently, mostly in this last year.
A lot of club, associations, small mining business, some teaching entrepreneurs.
What I did not saw till now are Spanish ICO`s but I believe they will come has soon the markets are better.
You can pay not much with Btc right now.
But is growing, like the rest of the world, I think.

Today I want to share my feeling about Bitcoin, exchanges and rules.
Since this is a world-wide free market (Not really) the rules should be the best survives.
So now define the best. Not easy, depends on the perspective.
Some characteristics: TX tempo - Fees - Volume - UI - Security - Support - pairs - and other tools in exchanges.
But these features are good for one of the parts - the Traders.
The other part - the Exchange has other priorities:
Make profits. Grow users. Charge insane amounts of money to list a coin.
And
Define who decides what is the best...
We, the users choose, we put our time, attention and money in what we think is the best.
The problem is we have to choose between a few bad choices.
We Conform with what we get.
Don't we have the power and the technologies to create an exchange that priority USERs (they are the fuel - no users no platform) - 100% community driven.
I want an Exchange where all profits are shared, where no limits of withdrawing are.
Let us make the Rules, We don't have the need to accept the things we just can get, We can make the things be like we want them.
What you guys think about this global miss of will to get better services and tools for our money, time and attention.
I start to enjoy this new era of business models, where the user gets paid.
Imagine; Since the born of the TV, imagine our grandFathers where getting paid the few hours per day in front of the TV.
This is how it should be - Get rewards for our time and attention.
But no - We still prefer to pay to have access to Netflix and as a bonus, they get our attention, or Spotify - Paying ridiculous % to creators - same as youtube.

No. Today's scenario is totally different from last year's as it was the period of launch of bitcoin futures due to which bitcoin price rose to new ATH of $20,000.But now, there is no such event. I've always though the whales are the ones behind the massive swings in the price recently. Back in the day, people would blame the news and/or events that the occuring in the cryptosphere to say that those factors are the ones behind the up and downs in the price, but we don't have that anymore, instead we have learge whales playing games in the market liquidating shorts and whatnot, others trying to tank the price so that more whales buy cheap...It's all blatant manipulation. Can you prove your words somehow? I mean, I have the same feeling, but nothing clear in my hands, we need a cane a James Bond... Last days we have been greens in the markets, that's is nice for some people definitely.
Are we bouncing to +20K this time?
We haven't even tested the 10k levels and you can bet there'll be a lot of resistance at that level. But in all honesty, I doubt we'll test 20k this year, bearish sentiment is still surrounding market, I would be surprise if we see 10k towards the end of the year. Interesting opinion about the price. We will see soon enough. My Bets are more positive than yours :X |

It is true that these whales will be able to manipulate the price of the crypto currencies they can choose but I don't think that that is just that easy. If they really want to fully manipulate the prices of these cryptos I think they need to communicate with each other and make their plans or moves. Knowing some investors, I guess they will not go with these plan since they might betray each other taking the profits for themselves though there might be some manipulations but not that big of a scale.
Communication is there, definitely, but in private. So who are there whales for you? are millionaires having fun? but they are nothing if you compare to billionaires. And they are nothing compared to the ones who decide how much money is there, or the ones excluded of the moneraty sistem. in any case, if its true, o you have any proofs? |

Yes it is happening but those investors only do that because they want more of it they are just being greedy that's why they do that and they dont have a plan to dump it completely because they also trust this technology.

interesante y tedioso. Este es el tipo de informaciones que me cruzan los sentimientos, por un lado me emociona ver la posibilidad de no solo darle una utilidad a las criptomonedas en el mundo laboral, si no, sobre todo darle un amparo legal.
La parte que me asusta es la condicion humana y mas aun cuando el gen latino corre por nuestras venas, alguien puede ver la caida en el sistema y tratar de aprovecharse, trayendome a colacion en los años de esclavitud, cuando se le pagaba a los esclavos con "fichas" canjeables en la tienda de la misma finca donde trabajaban por productos.
En el caso de España, imaginen por un momento al Corte Ingles creando una criptomoneda, pre minada, no incluida en ningun exchange, con la cual le pagan a empleados y proveedores hasta el 30% de lo que les corresponda, y dicha cripto solo sea canjeable en el Corte Ingles. Por eso he dicho que la labor del estado, deberia ser auspiciar un exchange publico no centralizado, que asegure que una moneda pueda usarse en estos menesteres si y solo si, pertenece a este exchange.
Obviamente, el que inventa la ley inventa la trampa, ya se crearia el mercado secundario de dichas criptos, donde los receptores las revenden con descuento a cambio de moneda FIAT.
Insisto, el ecosistema de las criptos es tan amplio y fragil como los valores de los involucrados y su educacion sobre el tema, hay que tener mucho cuidado en el tema, lo que si es cierto y prefiero, es que se generen miles de empresas de asesoria, para la adquisicion de criptomonedas por parte de las empresas al mejor costo, y paralelamente mucha asesoria y productos para los receptores.
en todo caso, suena a buena noticia y hay que apoyarla.
la caida del sistema sera probecho de todos. El bonm en las nuevas ofertas y demandas de empleo es de verdad interesante tener encuenta en todo estos momentos. I too heard theories like this where big whales are blamed for manipulating the market. However, I have my own theory because I fail to understand this game. Lets assume, you hold 1000 bitcoins and you are an active trader. If the bitcoin price increases, your net worth will increase. If it decreases, your net worth will be decreased. So, as a whale how would you want the price to be decreased? No one has given me a justified answer to this. Fake order volume is happening across the exchanges, but why as a whale, I will want the price to be decreased? It will be affecting my net worth. I fail to understand this mentality.
You can make money if you short the market, sell at 18K, rebuy at ~6K No one knows it for sure. Everyone can speculate only and can't tell you the fate of the market in any way. If someone is saying that market will bounce back to 20k level by the end of the year, ask proof of that claim and that person will fall silent! So use your own brain and monitor the market trends very closely. That's the only thing we, as a common people can do!
We are all common people, don't we? I don't see any uncommon person around. And this is not all we can do, there is always another way, but we have to use our brains ^^ I mean, We are educated in fear, and no one has balls to go against it, and if someone does, he instantly gets excluded from rest of society, because he is "not common" and so we live like sheets under our priest. The whales are manipulation the market all the time, I don't think that's a secret. This should start fading away with the limited supply that bitcoin has and with more people joining the bitcoin scene in the upcoming years.
I would like to agree on that, but look at "all the money in the World" for now in the crypto market are like less than 0.5%. I think we can make money with this tools, but I don't want to be at the end in the same pyramidal system. If the battles follow like the last century, we have 0 change to have a real product, a use for the people, not for the mafias like Gov. In any case, do you have any proofs? maybe someone starts an ICO for pay "fraud" discoveries haha... |

If people like you and me could answer that question then we would ask it at all as its very difficult to say, about 20k or more i think that big pump was when China and India were in game now there arent as i now.
Its difficult to say as it is difficult to say that we are been manipulated since the invention of God, Jesus or the Aliens and that we need weapons, or the climate change fear, or the BIO - ECO trend... In any case, we can try to discover things step by step, don't we? I have been following HACKEN for a while, they have come out with some nice readings about it, but I think still too much missing to get clear vision.
