421  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto-trading software recommendations on: November 16, 2017, 01:33:49 PM
Hello

I'm looking for good software (PC or MAC doesn't matter) for trading. I need auto stop loss, cascade trading, and technical analysis tools and trading with API on Bittrex (or Poloniex)
Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance
Dude, why do you keep on looking very far? We have Gunbot ads all over the forum. I have tried it for a while before the altcoin's blood bath earlier this year, and I can assure you that it works so fine, you can even look for another day job. I have one available, you can message me if you want to buy it.
422  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why people fear about BITCOIN on: November 16, 2017, 01:28:35 PM
Lack of knowledge equals fear. If a person does not know a lot about bitcoin, he will definitely think of it as a ponzi, scam, pyramid, etc... However, if you are equipped with what abouts then you will definitely invest to it as hard as you can. Same thing happens with ICOs, people nowadays are scared to invest in ICOs because they are afraid of the devs running away with their money - that's why you need to read the whitepaper, and then decide with confidence. Start your ICO journey with the world's first (almost) risk free ICO, the Angel Token.
423  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too late to invest in cryptos if you're old? on: November 16, 2017, 01:19:36 PM
What would you guys advise someone who is retired, living off pension and savings? Is it too late/risky to invest at that kind of age?
Do you guys think the elderly have a chance of jumping on the crypto train, or do you guys think it's too late for them to invest?

Dude, this question is hard to answer. If an old man is already receiving his pension then what's the point in investing it to an asset? He should be enjoying his life and should not be worrying anymore, especially with the ups and downs in bitcoins - he might get a heart attack if the price goes down so hard just like what happened last sunday.  Grin

But you know what, instead of telling your grandpa to invest in bitcoins, why don't you introduce him to Angel Token? This is the coolest ICO so far... click on my signature to know more. I am not a click bait, aye... I'm just concern with the old man. cheers!
424  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government put on tax on bitcoin on: November 16, 2017, 01:11:29 PM
If the goverment put tax to bitcoin transaction, what will the consequences?

The profit will decrease and attraction also decrease in my opinion. How about yours
Actually, in the United States, they are already putting taxes to bitcoins once it has been wired to your banks. I don't see any problem with that because at the end of the day you are the ones to control your cash-outs. Keep in mind that there are tons of ways to make cash out of your bitcoins such as selling by peer to peer. On the other hand, giving the government a little taste of your bitcoin is good for our community in the long run. The more they get from bitcoins, the less chance of them harassing the exchanges. just my two cents... Anyway, instead of troubling your mind with taxes, why don't you try investing in Angel Token? It's the safest ICO that I can recommend... cheers!
425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Isn't mining profitable now with increase in bitcoin price? on: November 15, 2017, 11:11:25 AM
I believe they conclude that mining isn't profitable due to high electricity because they definitely encourage you to just buy bitcoins and hold. You must also consider the fact that your rig must be upgraded every 6 months at least. Every new setup will cost you money, so why don't you just buy bitcoins and hold? If you have a vision similar to McAfee then go ahead and build your mining rig.

427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Mining vs Buying on: November 15, 2017, 10:09:09 AM
Just like in the real commodity business, it is always profitable for an ordinary man to buy and hold rather than setup a mining rig and mine golds or make an oil expedition. Unless you are McAfee.
428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin on the up after declines on: November 15, 2017, 10:05:02 AM
Huge regret to those who have been shaken. It looks like the price will hit $8000 anytime soon. The question is what will be the next attack against bitcoin?

430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Bitcoin Owners exist on both blockchains? on: November 14, 2017, 02:34:41 AM
Before august 1st, my bitcoins were placed in a hardware ledger and it was upgraded to support the BCH block chain. Same amount of BCH and BTC were minted and it seems like they coexist on a same blockchain at first, they fall having the same wallet address until I selected the "split" button. If 5 years from now you haven't touched your wallet yet then probably the answer to your question is - yes.
431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is Money Maker...stop fooling yourself with technology BS... on: November 14, 2017, 02:06:25 AM
I'm computer & database engineer. I love bitcoin trading bitcoin make huge money compare with my monthly salary as engineer.

But when people tell me it advance of technology bla bla bla. i'm getting sick....

Let accept it, bitcoin is money maker. When we accept this, bitcoin community will be strong again.
Delusional peoples will not make thing better.

Yes, I will somehow agree to you. Originally, bitcoin was for making anonymous payments over silk road but when it went mainstream, people saw it as a trading asset. And now, Roger Ver is an asshole. Keep that in mind. Roger Ver is an asshole.
432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You Stupid? You Pay $20 to send Core BTC coin on: November 13, 2017, 02:53:09 PM
Why suddenly a newbie account is giving suggestions for not using bitcoin? I believe this account holder is being paid by those rich criminals who are trying to promote BCH and discouraging people from using bitcoin. The problem is with the miners and not with the common investors. Amidst the criminal attack on bitcoin network, bitcoin price is recovering. That shows how powerless your team infront of the global sentiment for bitcoins. Ignoring you from the core of my heart.

Use Litecoin / Dogecoin /Ethereum , or even paypal, but don't be stupid and pay $20 to send $60 ,

core devs are making morons out of people and causing them to lose money for no reason.

Only thing criminal is the slander you blame everyone else, and never fix your own core coin.

Fix your core coin and leave others alone.  Then the marketplace will decide.
I get it. This stupid troll doesn't have a single satoshi at all. He might have been a very poor moron who couldn't afford buying food that's why hunger stroke him so hard it damaged his central nervous system. And wait, he couldn't even speak conversational english, maybe he is from somewhere where education hasn't reach yet. His mouth stinks too. Stay out of bitcoins if you like but don't spread your bullock shit in here. I am willing to pay somebody from the silk road to kill you. Stupid moron.
433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You Stupid? You Pay $20 to send Core BTC coin on: November 13, 2017, 01:31:01 PM
Stupid people paying $20 to send $60 of core btc coin.

Wake up Stupid People!!!

Core BTC coin is BROKEN!!

113403 Unconfirmed Transactions

Segwith Fix absolutely NOTHING!

Use other coins to send , don't waste money and don't be stupid like core thinks you are.

WAKE UP!!!

Wake up my ass... bitcoin is never the problem, the miners are. When noobs like you panicked and sell out bitcoins in exchange to bitcoin cash, you have given the authority to the miners to mine BCH. that causes the zero confirmations to your transactions. BCH is a temporary solution, but it will definitely kill the community in the long run.
434  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you think Satoshi Nakamoto keep himself under the radar? on: November 13, 2017, 01:26:20 PM
He might be in prison as Dread Pirate Roberts. I was under the impression that Satoshi Nakamoto is the same man behind the silk road, that's why he vanished when the alleged DPR was arrested. Anyway, media couldn't get a hold of DPR inside the prison so I am not even sure if he is really inside. If he is Satoshi Nakamoto, there might have been an internal arrangement between him and the Fedies in exchange to his freedom. But anyway, fuck Roger Ver! He is never different from the shitty bankers.
435  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it OK to Send BTC Now? (confirmation problem?) on: November 13, 2017, 11:45:13 AM
Yesterday, I paid $14 for my transactions and it took about a couple of hours to transfer. I assume it is ok now, just make sure to select the highest fee so yours will be in the priority list. Good luck.
436  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is why I am out of Bitcoin for the time being on: November 13, 2017, 11:37:39 AM
After the events of the weekend (and what may still be in the pipeline for Bitcoin in the next couple of days) I am out. I am not a newbie to Bitcoin and I have been through many pumps and volatile price changes before but what appears to be going on with Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash sickens me. Yes I know this is a volatile investment and I have always been prepared to lose all my investment if consensus moves away from Bitcoin in time. I can take the Chinese banning ICO's and I can take regulatory or perceived regulatory intervention which impacts the prices and I can even take greedy Bankers like Jamie Dimon doing his best to destroy Bitcoin but what I can not take is a surprise attack by people in the Bitcoin community where the destruction of one breed of Bitcoin is aggressively attacked like it was this last weekend.  There are many new investors which have put lots of money into Bitcoin and had the attack been successful they would have lost it all. Think about it - how the hell are you ever going to get a friendly regulatory environment if such things are planned. Yes the regulators are sitting and watching and they will act if people start to lose money as cryptos become more mainstream. However what happened on the weekend in my opinion has done more to damage the reputation of cryptos than any other single event so far. I panicked like others and tried to get my Bitcoin from offline wallets onto an exchange to sell. Do you know why because at around 5.30am (GMT) yesterday morning I honestly believed that Bitcoin Cash was going to crush Bitcoin and that I was going to lose all my investment. Why was I going to lose it? Because of the crypto community or certain players in it which quite frankly make me sick. We all complain about Banks and central Banks and Governments but yet look at the behavior of some of the crypto leaders - its worse than the Banks! Anyway when I was trying to get my Bitcoins onto an exchange I couldn't - the network was all blocked up and all my hard work investment was sitting in the mempool completely useless to me. Eventually I got some through with extortionate fees and managed to sell some of my Bitcoins. I know there are many of you that say you should not panic - well this was the first time ever that I did panic and it was because I saw Bitcoin eating itself up by the greedy few that want to manipulate it for their own good. I hope to return to Bitcoin one day but for now I AM OUT!

Honestly, dude I felt exactly the same thing. I had my first bitcoins @ $800 and I had accumulated 3 bitcoins averaging $900 a piece. Yesterday, I played safe and cashed out 0.5BTC from my hard wallet to an exchange but it took forever and I had lost 25% of the value right before my eyes due to very weak confirmations. My initial capital was roughly around $2700 for 3 bitcoins and I took it out yesterday just incase bitcoin crashes below $800. I still have 2.5BTCs and 3BCH today but I am beginning to be frustrated with this kind of community. Assholes are getting manipulated by these greedy gentlemen and that is very alarming... this is not the kind of community that I was expecting when I started bitcoining. I thought the community was dominated by likeminded people who are sick and tired of the banking system, and the government. What I have seen last night was the total opposite, people lost their faith in bitcoins and switched to BCH because of their greed, because all they got inside their heads were profits, they did not even think that once BCH becomes the biggest, Roger Ver will become every government's best friend. Then corruption will take place, and then our freedom over our own money is over. THANKS TO THE ASSHOLES who sold bitcoins for bitcoin cash!
437  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Not Dead Yet on: November 13, 2017, 11:17:50 AM
Well, it looks like Bitcoin is not dead yet.  Although Bitcoin Cash is putting on a good show, Bitcoin made a little recovery today of over $500 in just a few hours.

Is the recovery coming?  Or should we all run to Bitcoin Cash before the next time it shoots up to the moon?
Ok man, I don't wanna be a greedy asshole here so I will give you an honest piece of advice. I don't feel that BTC and BCH battle is over yet, so you better convert to fiat for now, that is the safest haven. But if you have a brave soul then you better choose your side. Im with BTC. Roger Ver will only make everything under control by the government very very soon. He's no different from the Rothschild.
438  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will die? on: November 13, 2017, 11:11:04 AM
Hello,

Looking at graphs from fork.lol (https://fork.lol/pow/hashrate) website, Bitcoin cash hashrate just doubled vs the Bitcoin core. It is currently at over 65% of total hashrate and growing...
This is very concerning because it will be very hard or even impossible to confirm transactions if this keeps going at this rate and more miners will switch to Bitcoin cash.
You might say that there will be 400% difficulty increase in BCH and all miners will switch back, but keep in mind there will be a fork tomorrow to fix just that.

So... I start wondering if this will be the end of bitcoin as we know it?

Seriously? is there a fork coming our way? But well, this is beginning to become a dirty game now, which I won't be surprised at all because the greedy players are getting inside every noob's head. Honestly, if the community won't sell BTC, everything is under our control.
439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BCH- Bitcoin Cash moment on: November 13, 2017, 10:54:15 AM
That's what happens when flocks of sheep dominates the community. If you share Nakamoto's vision, there should be no reason for you to believe in Roger Ver... Miners would stick to bitcoins as long as the community choses to stick to it as well. But what happened last night was a nightmare, many people were manipulated because of fear... fear of losing money. THAT'S WHY IN THE FIRST PLACE, YOU SHOULD ONLY INVEST WHAT YOU CAN AFFORD TO LOSE. I can now conclude that there are tons of idiots holding bitcoins @ $4000. The real supporters of bitcoins are the ones holding from $2500 below.
440  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Losing faith in BTC... on: November 12, 2017, 11:18:36 PM
I feel you, OP... McAfee's switch to BCH shook my faith very very hard. I have 3 bitcoins on hand and 3 bitcoin cash on the other. This sick event will definitely make me a little bit richer in fiat if I would sell today, however, I bought bitcoins not because of anything else but my belief in Satoshi's vision. This Roger Bullshit Ver will definitely give some of our money to the government very soon... He'll pay taxes either full or half of it.

I cannot speak up and tell you guys to never lose hope in BTC because I already did. But I will hold until the last value of it... I WOULD NOT LET MY GREED CONTROL MY VISION. MY VISION IS TO SPEND AND RECEIVE PAYMENTS WITHOUT GIVING A SINGLE DIME TO THE GOVERNMENT... and I don't think BCH will be like that. If few people could manipulate, then the government could.
