Thx mate! Finally some good/better news after all.

Question: what exatly was so difficult with the raspberry? as i havent worked with one before too.

edit: did you have to install cgminer on the raspberry or was it preinstalled?

4203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: January 20, 2014, 09:08:47 PM

Hi,

i cant connect to my miner. neither via SSH nor via HTTP.

it boots and starts hashing at the pool as it should, but i am not able to connect to the miner. i tried several IPs none worked.

any ideas??

Download some net analyzer software and see if the machine is being assigned an ip address, then you will find it. I have an app on my phone called net analyzer. Instantly scans all the ips on the network.

i have and i think i know which IP the miner is using. nevertheless its not responding.

it is a viscous circle

a viscous circle that could be broken once they start shipping

Is there a new HF twitter account? I was just looking at it and no posts to it since end of December. Bunch of Baby Jet and Sierra pics, assembly and board burn-in, and then nothing since. I know there are problems with the Baby Jet/ GN chip but this complete silence is strange. You would think they would post more pics just to let people know they are working on problems. If anything this might ease some of the hostility toward HF. Maybe their lawyer told them to remain silent due to pending litigation?

you answered your own question already

clearly indicative of a serious lack of intellectual capacity.

I suspect Mr. Inaba, unfortunately, has more money than most of us and just chuckles at such statements.

i dont care about inaba's existent or non-existent intellectual capacity, but one thing is for sure, you dont measure intellectual capacity per money earned. pretty obv imo.

As an impartial observer in this situation,....

Thank you! Great post!

1.) You can find several ToS-versions here: http://hashfast.org/Terms_of_Sale
Maybe your friend can have a peek at them.

2.) One question that i would like to ask your friend:

Given the precondition that they have sorted out their problems and producing now full scale. Whats the legal situation if they decided to force refunds all of their customers just to either mine themselves with those miners or to sell them again at higher prices in their webshop?
4211  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: CoinTerra announces its first ASIC - Hash-Rate greater than 500 GH/s on: January 19, 2014, 10:39:48 PM

Sorry noob, but you're wrong.

yeah! i´m a noob!

and you are a Hero Member!
i know why i am in your eyes a noob: 1. you think that i never heard anything about BFL. (i waited my BFL singles more than 10 months)....

ice and his baby jets are late more than any other asic producer in whole asic history.

Sure, I'm negotiating with them - in good faith - as to what happens now, as i feel I've overpaid with my order compared to when I'm going to receive it.

you are negotiating with them? i tought they arent answering emails/phone?
4213  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: CoinTerra announces its first ASIC - Hash-Rate greater than 500 GH/s on: January 19, 2014, 04:58:21 PM
Cool i didn't ask you, you're probably just a shill anyways.

and thats even better asicthread-gold. everybody who dares to speak up against lunatic conspiracytheories is promptly maked as "shill".

so much lolz!

I guess its a conspiracy theory that conterra is late on their shipment dates now?

no but the talk about shills and cointerra selfmining (go back some pages and read) is nothing more than that.

Ordering ANY product and expecting them late is LAUGHABLE, they were marketing on the fact that other ASIC manufactures had problems with late shipments and said they would be different.

no, its laughable to order from asic-vendors and expecting them to deliver right at their promised delivery date. THATS LAUGHABLE and NAIVE.

So you guys are saying "What did you expect?  Its an asic company!  We should have expected them to fail!"
yeah nice logic there... good job at defending cointerra, idiots

lol! learn to read, nobody said "expect them to fail".

expect them to be some weeks late, thats all.

how comes that the asic-vendor threads are ALWAYS full of jerks?

and sometimes even the same jerks as some of those trolls here where already seen at the KNC-thread back in september, right before they started shipping.

yes they are TECHNICALLY spoken late. but WHAT THE FUCK!? i dont need no icebreaker to calculate several weeks of delay onto EVERY timeline of asic-vendors!

how rediculous to order ASICs and start whinig when they are several days late. where the fuck have you been!? thats the business!
4219  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 19, 2014, 04:11:12 PM
Hmm, heavily cropped images, shil account. Anyone seen a picture like that of bjs though? The content doesn't look photoshopped together, not with the USB drives on top... But hf would be bouncing off the walls if they shipped anything, and not forcing people into refunds...

why?

$-refunds are not a bad thing for HF at all. a delivered bj with additional mpp is valued way higher than those $ one could get from HF through refunds.

nevertheless i think its pretty obv that its a legal thing. most likely their laywers advised them to stay completly silent as every statement of them could be held against them in court.
so all they do is just shipping and not talking anymore.

Gotta news guys! Smiley

(i'm sorry for the guy/hf who removed the thread just one second after, for whatever reason it was, but i'm gonna share it anyway).

It starts with an email from Google:

good work!
