6k XLM + 50k BCN so it's 0.0912BTC against 0.0631836BTC principal (based on your past calculations, I haven't verified it) I got a total of 0.04141635 BTC from this when there was 0.0631836 BTC left until the principal was paid (so not even counting interest). Wow, that's a big difference in two months. Sorry for your loss, Hatcher. This loan looked legit at first, but it sure took a sour turn. You would be justified creating a scammer flag against max2607.

And I think you didn't understand the situation, he's the scammer, he sent me a random transaction ID which was not his and when I told him that, he disappeared and have never been online again.
I accept escrow, also can sign a message with my address if the borrower asks. So in which way it is not trustworthy?
I understand that he has attempted to scam you, that's not surprising since almost all newbies asking for a loans are scammers. I was suggesting to you to remain as transparent as possible, because 99% of newbies offering loans are also scammers. You have an older account, but your low rank doesn't instill a lot of trust. Openness and transparency will help you overcome that lack of trust in lower-ranked accounts. Why moderators don't do anything about these scammers? Scams aren't moderated. There are too many gray areas and vague scam attempts. Moderators would be busy sifting through every accusation and attempt leaving them no time to moderate. And, if they miss a scam then the victim will want to hold them accountable. Not a very practical system. That's why it's left up to the community to police ourselves. Shasan already created a flag for maxwell20, if you can prove that iwutitan is a related account DT members will tag it also. Although it looks like iwutitan is already red-tagged for an unrelated issue from 2017.

On my way home Did you miss me? Currently driving somewhere in Germany, with many kilometers to go. Working? Vacation? Working vacation? one minute it's 1300 km and then boom, 800 miles. Immediately feels much closer to home I'm helping a friend move to Arizona. We're leaving tonight, and planning to get it all done in one shot, taking turns driving all night. 1529 Kilometers sounds awful, even 950 miles sounds daunting, but 0.00000000005 parsecs sounds like a piece of cake.

Here she goes again, who put a dollar in the cunt?
Congrats to LFC! Not only did you make CH's poll, you got one of my favorite epithets thrown in for good measure. Even if you're not up in the polling I'd call that a win. @CuntyHumper, how many of those 11 votes are from your alts?

It definitely looks like the same person. I archived the thread edgycorner posted here on the forum in case he deletes it. The forum post points to the same steam community profile as the reddit post. The only hitch in your giddiup is the screenshots; they really make for poor evidence as they can be modified or forged, and there's no way for us to trace the PayPal transaction. None the less, I've left negative feedback for him. Looking through his trust feedback and post history, it looks like he's been targeting users with lower ranks, while attempting to build a good reputation with users of higher rank. Just an observation of mine. You should also create a scammer flag for edgycorner. Select the bottom radio button that reads "This user violated a written contract with me, resulting in damages" and use this thread as the reference.

I saw that, and I think Fortress is taking a huge risk with that offer. It's certainly more risk than I'm willing to take.
I don't know anything about the Japanese court system or their bankruptcy laws, but I tend to be very skeptical about these recovery efforts. If I were you I would take the offer from fortress. At the time of the Mt. Gox debacle BTC was worth about $450, so essentially you'd be doubling your money. Sure that's a far cry from $10k, but it's better than a promise from a bankruptcy court.
Best of luck to you.

I can give you the loan but what guarantees do you offer and the guarantee will be made using the escrow
Let me know
The OP is offering loans, not asking for one.

I think you're going to have a hard time finding anyone willing to accept BIFI as collateral. Their are only two exchanges that list the coin, I've never heard of either, and the trade volume is pretty darn low as well. Couple that with the fact that you're posting from an old account that has hardly been active. All that gives me reason to think this is a risky preposition... Even if it is a measly $8, no body want's to piss away $8.
Which begs the question; why are holing on to that shitcoin? Why not just dump it for the BTC you need?

I think mixing should be looked at as if it comes in degrees and scales. The more resources available to the people from whom you're trying to hide the more you have to obfuscate your movements. If we're talking about simple privacy a coinjoin wallet or a mixing service should be fine. If you're trying to hide from law enforcement then you should definitely not rely on either, but use a combination of several mixing methods. The most robust solution is also likely to be the most expensive; ie keep the funds moving, constantly changing amounts, and use anonymous coins like monero or grin to add obfuscation. Theymos put together a pretty good article about mixing methods here. What you do with the funds at the end of the day is also critical. If a LEO is trying to track a dark wallet that started out with one bitcoin, then it was traded for monero through an anonymous exchange, the monero was transferred to two or three wallets, traded back to bitcoin, then sent nearly one bitcoin (minus transaction fees) to a clean wallet the LEO might suspect the wallets are connected, and only needs to confirm the connection. If the funds were split up over several wallets with varying amounts through out the process that will add to the obfuscation.

If you're sure it was one of your standard passwords/combinations start a spreadsheet and list all the possibilities, then copy/paste them into the login screen. Be very careful asking for help, don't send your wallet file to anyone who you don't absolutely trust. The best way is to tackle it yourself. Worst case scenario there are password hackers who can help, @LoyceV might be able to help you.

I dont remember If I downloaded the Standalone Executable or the Windows Installer when I installed the 3.3.6 version. Does it matter and can I download either one to perform the update?
It does not matter. If you have wallet files stored on your hard drive both the stand-alone or the installed version will be able to open them, no need to re-enter your seeds with either choice. The new install (or stand-alone) will look for the wallet files in "C:\Users\<current_user>\AppData\Roaming\Electrum\wallets." If you stored your wallet files elsewhere you'll have to browse to that directory. I prefer the installed version for convenience and OS integration, but it really just comes down to personal preference.

I bought my keepkey before their merger with ShapeShift, so I didn't have to go through all that shit. I've only used the Chrome extension or Electrum to access the wallet, I haven't set up a ShapeShift account. The Chrome extension sucks, but it's the only way to initiate the wallet after a factory reset (or setting up from new.) Once the wallet is set-up you can use Electrum to manage it like any other hardware wallet. It doesn't support some of the altcoins Trezor or Leger do (XMR, XLM, XRP, and other popular ones) if that matters to you. HCP posted the link to the Chrome Extension which I confirmed is the same one I have installed. It can be installed on Brave and Chromium browsers also. Here's the link again: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/keepkey-client/idgiipeogajjpkgheijapngmlbohdhjg?hl=en-USI now own a Trezor and a Leger, and I prefer both over the KeepKey. It's price is attractive, but like anything else in this world; you get what you pay for. At some point I may decide to sell it, but for what it's worth it seems like too big of a hassle. I may end up giving it a friend.

I've sent to you my LTC address on Telegram.
Why not just post your LightCoin address here? You've been here a while, but at your rank level I would suggest complete openness and transparency. By sending your collateral address via a third party encrypted messaging app, which allows you to delete the discussion only adds to the theory that this may be an attempt at collateral scam. Not a great way to build a trustworthy reputation.

HE IS ACTIVE ON STACKOVERFLOW ( here) as "Last seen 5 hours ago" HE IS ACTIVE ON STACKEXCHANGE ( here) as "Last seen Jul 18" Sorry for your loss. I was thinking he may have kicked the bucket, but if his accounts are still active on other social media sites then probably not. I don't have accounts on those sites, or I would post a warning to let others know with whom they're dealing.

Receiving stolen goods is illegal afaik? Check into page 48. No, the real Mueller report, not the one you obtained from Alyssa Milano. The one that actually states the date of the theft, while Obama was still president. How does that incriminate a presidential candidate?
|
|
|
It's very obvious you didn't read the report if you believe that's what it said. It's obvious you're going to believe what you want to believe regardless of what the report says. Reading comprehension hasn't been your strong point, so I don't reckon you're going to change your mind even IF you were to read the report. I dare you to point to one incriminating passage out of the Mueller report that a rational, unbiased individual will see as incriminating. Lets see if you can curb your hate and have a rational, intellectual argument about the subject.

Is Turkish President, Recep Erdogan dead? Turkish news agencies are denying it. Yesterday I noticed people on Twitter claiming news reports from other countries in the region are saying he died of a heart attack. George Papadopoulos tweeted that Greek news papers are reporting his death. I have two cousins in Jordan who studied in Turkey, they said Jordanian news agencies are reporting he died. If he is dead, was it really a heart attack, or was he assassinated? Why is Turkey denying it, and posting what appear to be old pictures of him on Twitter? What's going on?

Yes they have Crypto->Fiat. at ~8% above Kraken rate, well, but they have. I just said its dubious because it is not a registered company and the address they publish is not true. So even a company registered in the Seychelles is more transparent.
I hate to keep derailing this thread, but there is something fishy about invex.exchange. I think the address actually belongs to freight/mail forwarding company. Here are a couple of other companies that return when searching for listings with that address: ED&F Man Holdings Capital markets, sugar and shipping – London 3 London Bridge Street London SE1 9SG United Kingdom Tel: +44 20 7089 8000 http://www.edfman.com/27-contact/worldwide-offices/europe/united-kingdom/730-uk-londonFemis Category: Freight Forwarders Address: The News Building 3 London Bridge Street London SE1 9SG Landline: 020 7089 8008 https://directory.oxfordmail.co.uk/company/1129851196944384Definitely not finding a crypto exchange listed at that address. Looking like a scam to me.
