441  Economy / Economics / Re: I lost my job, how about you guys? on: October 06, 2020, 04:12:39 PM
snip..
My business has been closed since March and I feel bad for my employee.
Last March I also had to close my business and lay off 4 of my employees (my business is still relatively small)..  I am very concerned about them because the employees that work with me are the ones who provide for their families.  2 of my employees sold their motorbikes just to pay bills and meet their daily needs during the peak of COVID 19..

finally, at the beginning of last August, I ventured to open my business because of pressure from them too (my employees) they had no more money.  I can't expect much profit in this "PANDEMIC" period, being able to help them earn money is enough for me and they are very grateful..
442  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Adoption - Climate Change - Internet Access on: October 06, 2020, 03:44:10 PM
I understand what you want to say here..  to support so that Bitcoin can be adopted en masse, of course, internet access must be easily reached because it is very impossible to transact Bitcoin without internet access.  for now, the internet is not evenly distributed and it will take decades to increase the number of users reached by the internet..  This is the reason why we don't need to rush to want Bitcoin to be mass adopted, it's better to let it run naturally.  with the development of technology, surely Bitcoin and Altcoins will be massively adopted..
443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling License on: October 05, 2020, 09:27:38 PM
snip..
It's simply that the license listed will calm the concerns of gamblers because what is needed by gamblers is a sense of comfort so that when gambling they are not afraid of their funds taken away.  I have no problem with where the gambling site's license comes from, as long as they list their license it makes me feel safe (despite all the bad possibilities that could happen in the future)..
444  Economy / Economics / Re: Money printing and inflation explained on: October 05, 2020, 09:08:04 PM
not all countries experience inflation when printing large amounts of money.  I have also written before (in other topic) countries like the US and Australia will not experience inflation when they print a lot of money, who use their currency not only their own country but almost the entire world.  US dollars and Australian dollars are needed for international trade (oil purchases and others)..

for poor and developing countries printing a lot of money will only cause their economy to enter into inflation because there is no use of their money other than in their own country and that is dangerous.  and they (developing countries) must destroy the money circulating in society (usually broken & old money) when they print new money, so the value is stable..
445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: October 04, 2020, 10:14:08 PM
Wth is going on in EPL. Leicester, Manutd, now Liverpool all are getting destroyed today. Oh man Can we see the repeat of 8-2 today lol.   Grin

Liverpool's defence just destroyed.

Edit: it's 7-2 now. Lol
"LOL" I thought a day of slaughter like this would never happen..  Watkins made a hattrick for Aston Villa, even though Liverpool really master the game and ball possession..

Glad I didn't bet today, it was far too murky for me.

lucky you, you are very blessed today bro..  Cheesy
446  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin dont pay our billls we need passive income on: October 04, 2020, 04:08:46 PM
btc is not good to pay our bills.,
if you live in a developed country like the US, Japan, or Singapore then the Bitcoin you get only from here will not be able to cover all your bills/month.  You need income outside of Bitcoin like being a worker in a company or doing business in the real world.  Do not rely too much on your income on Bitcoin if you are not able to earn stably every month..

we need new way of passive income goverments should start giving out universal income Smiley there is need for passive income
I agree with your opinion that the government should provide money for its citizens but every country has a different level of resources, and providing citizens with passive income can only be done by rich countries and not poor countries..
447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: everything can happen on bitvest on: October 04, 2020, 03:52:56 PM
snip..
so lucky, looks like you won big at Bitvest with only a small stake.  Bitvest is one of the most trusted gambling sites but I'm not very active there because I don't really like dice and keno.  your victory really makes me jealous, once again I congratulate you on your big win @OP..
448  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another Elon Musk fake giveaway. on: October 04, 2020, 03:00:20 PM
This is totally scam because Elon Musk didn't publish any give way. Besides this, if you see any airdrop offers to send any amount and they will pay 2x, 3x, it is sure SCAM. We should be aware otherwise we will loss our valuable BTC in their trap. We should avoid greed lest we may fall in the trap.
Of course, Elon Musk wouldn't be that easy to hold a giveaway using Bitcoin..  I follow Elon Musk's official twitter account and he has said several times "I've never made a giveaway of any kind".  I hope is that no one else will fall into the trap of that scammers and hopefully, they will quickly get caught by the police because of fraud cases in cyberspace..

450  Economy / Economics / Re: "Humans will not be replaced by robots very soon" --- yeah right !!! on: October 04, 2020, 02:03:54 PM
as I have written on other topics (still related to robots) Robots will not replace all the work currently done by humans in such a short time, it would definitely take decades into the future, a lot of work that robots can't do and only humans can.  It is certain that the development of robots in the future will affect human life, especially the economy because it can be confirmed that millions of job vacancies will be lost and employers will definitely prefer robots for their business.  prepare yourself for the possibility of robots taking your job..

451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: October 03, 2020, 05:09:48 PM
I think that Crystal Palace has no chance! The next winner today is Everton! Next will be Mancity and Newcastle! Would take the Express, but the risk is still great! Grin
Chelsea, Everton are the winners.  Currently the Man C vs Leeds match is still ongoing and City leads by 1 goal, in today's closing match (Newcastle vs Burnley) I'm sure it is Newcastle who will win..

453  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID-19's "New Normal" is Creating Opportunities in Crypto on: October 02, 2020, 06:07:23 PM
You are right. Despite of this crisis that we are facing, the world still offers a lot of opportunities for us to survive. This so-called "New Normal" indeed created a lot of opportunities in Crypto industry or in any other digital platform that can be our earning portal. Virtual jobs are increasing since lockdown days, but the most profitable and highest paid jobs are in the blockchain industry. We only need to be positive, persistent and productive amidst this pandemic. All this things shall pass, and we will survive if we keep our faith.
opportunities are always created if we try to find it and the opportunities to make money on the internet at this time of crisis are still great..  for content creators (video, journalism, and social media marketing) can take advantage of the available platforms to make money..

for video makers, you can try to participate in video campaigns and take advantage of Youtube to market your work, for writers you can take advantage of Steemit, Hive.blog, Publish0x and read.cash (pay in cryptocurrency) to become a marketing medium for your writing, and for marketing, you can take advantage of social media such as Facebook, Twitter, and telegram to market your work..  let's take advantage of every opportunity that exists in this "PANDEMIC" period..

455  Economy / Economics / Re: IMPACTS OF ROBOTICS ON WORLD ECONOMY on: September 29, 2020, 05:40:20 PM
in the future, our competitors to get jobs are not only humans <-> humans but also humans <-> robots..  high-risk jobs will of course be taken over by robots in the future.  In this modern era, we as humans are required to think hard about how to use the resources and opportunities that are created.  Robot and AI have been confirmed will take over several jobs in the future but new jobs will appear along with technological developments..

When it is still in the period of adjustment, of course, our economy will be disrupted because the explosion of unemployment cannot be denied.  the good news, it will happen in the next few decades so we can anticipate it from now on..
456  Economy / Economics / Re: Real estate vs. Bitcoin on: September 29, 2020, 04:53:47 PM
During the lockdown many estate loose value because of the corona virus that is spreading over the world.many people are crying because of the hardship that is increasing everyday no money money to pay bill and other things.

I prefer to invest with bitcoin than estate because during the pandemic those that invest with bitcoin never cry of hardship, even when the lockdown reduce other cryptocurrencies value is own value was okay to the investors.

circumstances vary by region (country and city)..  I live in the capital of a developing country and house price movements are not falling (only people's purchasing power has decreased during this "PANDEMIC").  In my country, real estate and land are investments that will not hurt because the density of the population in my city makes people's desire to buy a house very high..

If you are a wise investor then you will definitely choose to invest in both (Real estate & Bitcoin) because it would be foolish if you have a lot of Bitcoin but don't have a real estate..
457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 29, 2020, 04:34:53 PM
I think Bayern does this sometimes have a very slow start to the season and are 4th-6th zone trailing by up to 8 points some times, but then pick up from there and go on their flawless streak thereafter, I might join you around 8-10th week 😌😌
I agree with you, sometimes Bayern is moved slowly in the beginning season. Their defeat against Hoffenheim is their encouragement to win the Bundesliga again this season..  once again we have to realize that no team always wins every game, 1 or 2 defeats from 30 to 50 games is an extraordinary thing and Bayern have proven that..
458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you prefer? Live casino games or slots? on: September 29, 2020, 03:39:01 PM
I prefer to live casino games (skill-based games) because I don't really like gambling based on luck alone like slot and dice..  I am not very good at card games but card games are more challenging for me because I have to compete with other opponents and not only rely on card luck.  different from slot or dice games which sometimes make me angry (because I can't work on any other strategy besides surrender to the final result)..
459  Economy / Economics / Re: Waiters/Waitresses/bellboys etc just lost their jobs on: September 29, 2020, 03:25:32 PM
the negative impact of technological developments is the loss of some existing jobs, because in the future AI & robotics will develop greatly but there will also still be a lot of work for humans only to do too..  Based on the data, in the future, there will be more than 11 jobs that are predicted to be lost in the future;

4. Cashier
5. Travel Agents
6. Bank Teller

8. Telemarketing

460  Economy / Economics / Re: Anybody here trying to live bankless (using Bitcoin / cryptocurrencies)? on: September 29, 2020, 02:17:14 PM
mentally I am ready to live without a bank (using cryptocurrency only) but the majority of people around me are still not ready for that..  85% of my daily transactions use fiat money and 15% use credit cards.  I am only cannot change the system that has been embedded in the community around me..

I am currently running a vehicle washing business (cars & motorbikes), I include accepting payments via Bitcoin and Doge but no one has ever made a payment with it (not even asking for other coins).  I realize that 95% of residents in my city still don't know what cryptocurrency is, I continue to be patient because I really believe that in the future, payments via cryptocurrency will be adopted en masse..
