if i had to guess that would be the reason why, China can move any market to the moon
that's holy shit news imo :O
get ready for the rocket bois, if china's gov goes balls deep into blockchain
in the last 24 hours, the price of Bitcoin has risen +8% and almost all of Altcoin are in green..  the majority think this is due to the Chinese president's statement about blockchain technology.  I'm curious at what price this little Bullish will stop.

i just read news about bitcoin recently, the president of china xin jinping are supporting bitcoin in their country, and i think this moment make bitcoin reputation upraised and make people trusted and interest on bitcoin
remember.. the Chinese president only supports Blockchain technology and not Bitcoin.
1302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best altcoin to invest excluding ETH on: October 25, 2019, 08:40:38 PM
Chainlink has been good in terms of its dollar value, Its been doing good this bear market. Lots of development going-on and the Developer has been actively promoting overseas they have been busy building network with other companies this last months.
Chainlink is currently one of Altcoin's recommendations which is a great investment choice...  Chainlink developers are working so hard that their tokens are able to be green in the bear market. in the next 2 to 5 years, Chainlink prices will likely have a high chance of rising.  Huobi also has very good performance too, this Altcoin also suitable as an investment choice.

1303  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Statement against people who say Bitcoin is a Scam on: October 25, 2019, 05:07:15 PM
snip...
I am tired of responding to the many statements and questions of others about Bitcoin & I'm tired of trying to make others think as we think about Bitcoin because they only believe in what is in the article that writes about the ugliness of Bitcoin..  just let them think according to what they think because we have nothing to lose...  when Blockchain Technology is truly adopted and Bitcoin continues to lead cryptocurrencies then those who think Bitcoin is a scam will regret it for life.
1304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / China's President Xi Jinping VS Bitcoin on: October 25, 2019, 04:43:24 PM
this is the Chinese president's speech about his ambition towards Blockchain technology..

source: https://www.theblockcrypto.com/post/44646/xi-jinping-says-to-let-china-take-the-leading-position-in-blockchain

here I will not discuss Blockchain technology because China is certainly very accepting of the existence of Blockchain technology

I would like to discuss whether you think this is Xi hidden message to the world that they are able to make a perfect cryptocurrency than Bitcoin?

indeed blockchain technology is not only related to cryptocurrencies, but I think Xi has another intention!!
1305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][In Preparing YOU BANK - New Digital Asset Platform with YBT on: October 25, 2019, 03:41:32 PM
To me this looks like one more cheap scam coin bank.
I see Error establishing a database connection information on website.

Who are developers working on this 'bank' project?
I did not find any pictures like the one OP displayed on their social media accounts, it's possible that the images they displayed were professionally made.  my suggestion is to do a deeper investigation if you really want to invest or get involved with this project.
1306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's worse: cigar addiction or gambling addiction on: October 25, 2019, 03:24:29 PM
Whether the addiction is a mental deficiency or simply as a love for something?
When someone loves a sport is he or she addicted?
Addiction is when a person starts something and then the body and mind become very needy or dependent..  mild addiction is positive but severe addiction is negative/disease..  it can be said that eating, sport, drinking, sex and sometimes gambling or other hobbies are positive addictions for the body and mind, but if done excessively (severe addiction) it will make the body and mind become bad.
1307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst Day of My LIFE - Dice on: October 25, 2019, 03:03:52 PM
Please don't borrow and spend on gambling, it might give an earning, but that mostly leads to suffering. Cry
I still remember this being discussed in one thread in the gambling section about things gambling players shouldn't do..  starting from don't get drunk when gambling, don't bring family problems, work, or love when gambling and last don't borrow money to gamble..  borrowing other people's money to gamble sounds very easy if you win but in reality, it will lead you to other bigger problems if you lose.

1309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BAT Price Prediction 2019–2020 on: October 24, 2019, 05:02:29 PM
I predict the price will be more than $ 0.8 until the end of 2020.

I do not think that BAT would raise in price in the next couple of years. Moreover,  I cannot get how a browser extention or a blogging platform can be worth 1 USD per coin. In my opinion it is just silly and do not worth the troubles.
ATH BAT to date is around $ 0.9 on Jan 09, 2018 (based CMC), so BAT has a great chance to return to that price or even higher than that ATH..  I don't agree with your opinion, which says it's silly if a blogging platform is worth $ 1, even steem has ever been in priced at $ 80+..  blogging platforms have enormous market interest throughout the world.
1310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever been stolen or lost your BTC? on: October 24, 2019, 03:43:50 PM
My Bitcoin has never been stolen by anyone (I hope it doesn't happen).  but I ever lost the Bitcoin that I saved in the Bitcoin wallet that I made for the first time..  At that time I saved a private key in my laptop, but accidentally I downloaded a file that made my laptop attacked by a virus and must to be reinstalled...  if there is someone still haphazardly storing a private key or personal Bitcoin wallet password, you should immediately store it in a place that is easy to remember and safe.
1311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: 3000+ Cryptocurrency on Coinmarketcap on: October 24, 2019, 08:00:41 AM
The CMC only lists the coins that qualify for it, there are a lot of coins that are not listed on the CMC, so the actual number of coins is a lot larger than the number 3000. I think we don't need to worry. about how too many projects will affect the cryptocurrency space, because Weak projects will get rid of themselves.
CMC only lists crypto coins from a coin that has real transactions.  Besides CMC, I also monitor cryptocurrencies on the smartphone application.  in that application, I see that currently there are a total of 6300+ cryptocurrencies circulating on the market...  the amount of cryptocurrency will continue to increase each year but natural selection will occur, @s you said that coins from weak and uninteresting projects will get rid of themselves.
1312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitmain will build bitcoin data center in Texas on: October 23, 2019, 10:35:07 PM

Normally it's the US companies that go to China because of the raw materials and the cheap source of labour but now it's totally different maybe this has to do with the Chinese government stance on banning everything crypto related  in their country.
I think this business is different from the business of goods or services conducted by the US and China so far that it requires low material prices and employee salaries.

cheap power is the reason..  but I don't know whether that reason is true or not!!

1313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you buy National Lottery tickets with Bitcoin in your country? on: October 23, 2019, 10:08:32 PM
the government in my country strictly prohibits and will imprison perpetrators of all types and forms of gambling including lotteries, so we absolutely cannot buy lottery with Bitcoin or fiat money.

What are you referring to when talking about national lottery tickets?
In your country are there , state owned lottery business?
AFAIK, some countries have legalized the lottery.  for more details, you can see a list of countries that are endorse lotteries HERE.
1314  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Bounces Back Above $8200, Are Bulls Finally Here? on: October 23, 2019, 09:53:14 PM
With most of the past two days spent below $8k bitcoin price has been looking extremely bearish. A big bounce in late trading on Sunday, however, sent BTC back above resistance to top out at $8,300. Altcoins are also having a green Monday as the bears are kept at bay for now.

https://bitcoinist.com/bitcoin-btc-price-bounces-back-above-usd-8200/

BTC is $7500 as I write. BULLS??  I am seeing Bears are back in the market  Angry Angry
@OP seems like you lack an update, the article was written on 21/10/2019 meaning it was written 3 days ago. Right now the price of Bitcoin based on what I saw on CMC is at $ 7439.  if we discuss Bullish markets, it looks like Bullish will not happen anytime soon!!
1315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Happens If China Bans Bitcoin Mining? on: October 23, 2019, 09:40:43 PM
Then the whole mining system will collapse, that's what will happen
collapse only in China is certain!!   but the big miners must have thought of a way out that they would do..  IMO, there are only two choices they can choose  if Chinese government really Ban Bitcoin mining, that is mining in a very remote area (still in China) or cooperating and opening a new mine with miners in other countries that are more accepting of Bitcoin.
1316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Huobi vs BNB on: October 23, 2019, 02:26:55 PM
Hey guys! What are your predictions on Huobi token. Will it beat BNB?
beat BNB?  the possibility is very small, but that does not mean impossible!!  It can be said that currently Huobi is BNB's biggest challenger.  Based on CMC, currently Huobi ranks 11th while BNB ranks 7th, so I think it is not impossible for Huobi to beat BNB.

BNB will never drop below $ 10. Binance is the best of the exchanges at this time and its coin will only grow in value. It is possible that next year it will cost 50 dollars.
why is it impossible that BNB fell again to the price of $ 10?  prices that change dramatically are reasonable and the price of $ 10 is not far from the current BNB price.
1317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: who else think Litecoin will go huge? on: October 23, 2019, 01:57:16 PM
I dont understand why anyone wants ltc long term. A fully functioning lightning network destroys any need for litecoin.  The development of LTC is dead anyway,  Charlie lee dumped his coins for a reason.  The h as halvening did nothing for the price which is a sell signal.
Low fees for transactions and a good reputation that makes Litecoin still attractive to many traders and investors.

I think as long LTC still stable in that price, or maybe not dumped very much it already good for me. Sometime when i want to send coin between exchanges, i use LTC because it have small fee and if the price increased it will be better then.
low fee.. this is one of the strong reasons that make Litecoin in great demand, I personally move assets from one large exchange to another large exchange with Litecoin and Stellar.
1318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are u buying alts? on: October 22, 2019, 05:13:31 PM
of course yes.. but for now I prefer to buy Altcoin which is in the top 10 and collect more Bitcoin.  IMO following ICO at this time is really uncertain. ICO projects that appeared this year are not like ICO projects in the previous year,  in this year ICO project developers only made promises and only focused on raising funds without thinking about developing their coins in the future.
1319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 22, 2019, 04:04:17 PM
it seems my luck is not good, my two choice teams make me disappointed (Milan & Fiorentina) both (Milan VS Lecce & Fiorentina VS Brescia) end in a draw.

Milan relies on a poor 12 season position for Milan and cannot be a giant team like before.
It's very difficult to come back again and be recognized as a big team like in the past. AC Milan has fallen too far even at the beginning of the competition they lost a lot of points and coupled with a change of coaches which means Milan is really not ready for this.
IMO.. it's not too late for AC Milan to improve their reputation, even though it ended in a draw with Lecce at home but I'm satisfied with Pioli's strategy.
1320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin SV vs ETH on: October 22, 2019, 03:39:00 PM
Bitcoin SV is not suitable when compared to Ethereum.  Ethereum is a very important and needed Altcoin and is the most widely used to create a new Altcoin while Bitcoin SV only has a bad reputation in this forum.  Ethereum is far better and more interesting than Bitcoin SV.
