1381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee To Launch New Decentralized Exchange – McAfeeDex on: October 04, 2019, 07:12:09 PM
Whether he just got enlightenment? Roll Eyes

to be honest.. I'm not interested in this exchanges because the name of his exchange is bad and the new exchange is not very interesting for me because of the transactions made there still low.

At best, he will clone one of DEX which is open source and change the name of the DEX.
right.. maybe he took one from the github "lol"

First, John McAfee is not a crypto expert, he is more of a crypto influencer. Although we appreciate what he did to the us by having its famous McAfee anti-virus, he is no way consider a expert in crypto sphere.
John is a security system expert..  he is an Advisor & influencer.  HACKEN is one of the successful ICO projects that made John as their Advisor. cmiiw
1382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sold my house for buying altcoins need your help on: October 04, 2019, 06:24:03 PM
this is my current investments. do u have any suggestion

20k$ = BNB
20k$ = ADA
20k$ = EOS
20k$ = XEM
20k$ = NEO
10k$ = XRP
I don't understand why the best coins like Bitcoin, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash and Ethereum are not included in the list, and you made a big mistake by putting XRP, XEM and NEO on the list, these three coins are not suitable for investment, these three coins are only suitable as payment instruments.

Wow, that is a brave and very risky step, my advice is if you take a big risk by selling your house, invest your money in a coin that has truly been tested,
I suggest to include ETH and BTC on your list,
The OP seems to have lost its mind by not including Bitcoin and Ethereum on the list.

1383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mass adoption growing or decreasing? on: October 04, 2019, 06:12:30 PM
mass adoption of cryptocurrencies is growing every year, many large companies are starting to accept cryptocurrencies such as Overstock, Paypal, Shopify and Microsoft.. even a country as big as China has done it, this is an article that ran the news about it...
https://www.nasdaq.com/articles/7-major-companies-accept-cryptocurrency-2018-01-31
https://futurism.com/china-becomes-first-countrchina-becomes-first-country-in-the-world-to-test-a-national-cryptocurrencyy-to-test-national-cryptocurrency

I think the mass adoption is increasing. In this space many big giant companies already adopted crypto payment and many more big companies is trying out. And big tech giant try to adopt block chain and crypto technology. Libra is a very good example for that.
Libra coins developed by Facebook and several companies are one example of cryptocurrencies to be adopted in the future.
1384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LiteCoin or ETHEREUM? Best Investment option. on: October 04, 2019, 05:40:26 PM
Ethereum is much better than Litecoin.. although Litecoin is a Lite version of Bitcoin but Ethereum is a core of many crypto coins, developers are very interested in using Ethereum (ERC20) than other platforms, this is the reason that makes investing in Ethereum is the best choice.

seeing between ethereum and litecoin I am still interested in ethereum because many ico or IEO users are using the platform from ethereum.
ERC20 is the core of many ICO / IEO circulating in the market.

I never considered Litecoin as one of top coins. Except of ethereum I believe in Waves, Stellar and some other, but not Litecoin.
IMO.. Litecoin is far better than Waves and Stellar, your assessment of Litecoin is wrong.
1385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is Sportsbet.io safe to bet? on: October 04, 2019, 05:12:33 PM
100% safe & highly recommended, nothing to worry about...  Sportbet.io is very professional and trusted.

sportsbet.io is 100% safe, it’s the most well know sports bookie in crypto space. I’ve been betting with them for over a year now & never had any issues. Withdrawals are fast & easy, no problems ever.
it looks like the OP's concern started when the hoax news from this thread appeared  Cheesy

1386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves will replace ethereum on: October 03, 2019, 07:23:07 PM
Waves replace Ethereum = "Fantasy"

I don't see a possibility in the future.

snip...
Of course, the Waves will not catch up with Ethereum on the development and scaling of the network. But for part of the cryptocurrency market segment, Waves will continue to fight. I think soon the Waves will be already more expensive than $ 1, today they have grown in price by 4%.
Waves is not an opponent of Ethereum, Waves developers have not developed their products, so investors are less interested.  Waves are currently ranked 54, far below EOS and TRON.  Waves are currently less in demand, unlike in 2017.  I see the future of Waves is not so good.
1387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will happen to alts if Bitcoin crashes back to $5000? on: October 03, 2019, 06:03:31 PM
the atmosphere will not be much different from last December 2018 (when Bitcoin was priced at $ 3,500), many Altcoins will crash.. the cut loss action will occur because investors are afraid of the certainty of their investments in Altcoin.

although the possibility is small but if bitcoin falls to $5k. it has been confirmed that many altcoins have died. maybe almost 45% of altcoins that are now on the market will fall to 0. it will probably be the apocalypse for altcoin. Large altcoins such as ETH, LTC, BNB, XRP and EOS will also be heavily affected. maybe they will fall half the price.
right.. 40-45% Altcoin will be zero due to lack of support from investors & trader.

1389  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Makes Bitcoin Valuable? on: October 03, 2019, 03:06:59 PM
what makes Bitcoin valuable is the concept it offers and the Blockchain technology that is behind Bitcoin.  10 years since the creation of Bitcoin, has been circulating thousands of cryptocurrencies that adopt the Bitcoin system and even many are much better than Bitcoin.  Bitcoin is a pioneer, so it's very valuable.

The main reason for bitcoin valueable is because of limited supply 21million bitcoins and transparency in blockchain
satoshi gave the crypto community bitcoin and technology is open source he dont need come up with same identity he may access the information with various other names
I'm just warning.. please don't do this again (post in another thread in a very short time) because you could be having trouble with the moderator  Wink
1390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin isn't just an investment, it is the future on: October 03, 2019, 02:46:47 PM
In Satoshi's words: Bitcoin is peer-to-peer cash system. However, he kept one thing wrong that defies the fundamental rule of money and i.e. limited supply. Money is not limited, it is inflationary and its purchasing power keep decreasing with time. But Bitcoin is limited and deflationary in nature. This change made Bitcoin more like an investment. I don't think in future things will change because problem is not with current use but the fundamental of Bitcoin, it can't be used widely as currency else it will make businesses very unstable.
This seems to have been discussed in several threads, Bitcoin was created with the aim of creating an independent, transparent and fast payment system but the amount of Bitcoin cannot meet the needs of billions of people.. this is the reason why XRP, USDT and other stable cryptocurrencies are more convenient to use as transactions than Bitcoin.  the reality is that Bitcoin will only become one of the investment instruments in the future
1391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: October 03, 2019, 02:20:55 PM
With Tottenham losing 2:7 to Bayern München, now i have high hopes that Red Star Belgrade could also win against Spurs lol 😂
Tottenham is currently being chaotic because of the issue of Jan Ver having an affair with Ericksen's wife.  Bayern's goal party to Tottenham successfully made Gnabry the top score of UCL current, A fresh breeze is blowing into Bayern Munich  Cheesy. Bayern proved to be one of the UCL champions' favorite teams this season.
1392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 03, 2019, 01:44:46 PM
in the Bundesliga standings, Bayern managed to become the Top with a difference of 1 point from Leipzig..  even Bayern players have managed to become UCL's top scorer at the moment, Serge Gnabry (4) & Robert Lewandowski (3), Bayern very Stable Team.
1393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ADAB - First Islamic Crypto Exchange, based on the Shariah norms on: October 02, 2019, 10:52:14 PM
The ridiculous things that are being said on their Telegram is laughable - from investors threatening Adab Solutions being threatened with court/legal action to the delays being down to legal issues.

They took money from investors but had no foresight to think about many options and outcomes.
to be honest, I am very sure that Adab will be a big success in the future because the concept they offer can attract the interest of Muslims to trade, but they made a fatal mistake by disappointing investors and volunteers  Undecided

thank you Jolly for being a hard opponent of con artists.
1394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] KickCity - Community Is Power on: October 02, 2019, 10:30:33 PM
As far as I understand, it’s not being traded anywhere.
in 2017/2018 kickcity was at idex.market but now this token has disappeared from this exchange and there is also no news development of this project I think this project is dead and I feel "Gigi" (kickcity team) has disappeared.
If I may know what made Kickcity disappear from IDEX exchange and that is certainly a setback for Kickcity,
but whether this project is really dead please confirm that there will be no misunderstanding
let's just watch, social media from KickCity doesn't seem to be developing, so it can be concluded that this project is dead. I "HOLD" a few thousand Kickcity tokens.  hopefully.. there are good news & developments in the future.
1395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I just SOLD my girlfriends car to buy more ETH at sale price :) on: October 02, 2019, 07:19:14 PM
The car is not a good asset at all that extremely loses value with time. It would better be Ethereum that has potential that could be traded or speculated since the car will only drain money.
with the advent of Uber and Lyft, the existence of private cars came in handy.  in a market like this, it is very difficult to produce Ethereum, but if he becomes an uber or Lyft driver he can collect monthly money to buy Ethereum or other coins...  My friend is a Grab driver (driver application in Southeast Asia) and he is setting aside $ 150 / month to invest in Bitcoin, Ethereum and Bitcoin Cash, at the moment his assets are more than mine.
1396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which crypto-currency for investment/trading? on: October 02, 2019, 06:29:45 PM
Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash and Binance ... I see these 3 most valuable coins on the market today, these three coins are very good for long term investment or used as daily/weekly trading.

but there are also coins that have just finished the ICO / IEO period which is good for long-term investments. For example like Decoin coins (DTEP) which are cheap at the moment, maybe it's good to buy now then hold it for 2 years later.
Decoin potential is not yet clear because this is still a new coin, but if you want to gamble hard, Decoin can also be used as a long-term investment

1397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 10 Years From Now on: October 02, 2019, 05:08:02 PM
After 10 years, I see bitcoin completely different and incredibly expensive. Perhaps bitcoin will not be the most popular but still the world currency
what do you mean unpopular, since the Bullish in 2017, Bitcoin has become popular and is known because it is reportedly spread in all media.

From now till 10years time, I see a massive adoption of the bitcoin and its underlying technology the blockchain. I equally expect the price to have grown far past expectations. We are lucky to have known bitcoin today.
we are lucky to know Bitcoin today,  in the next 10 years..  I don't think that Bitcoin will be adopted in bulk because Bitcoin in the next 10 years will become precious jewelry like diamonds, but Cryptocurrencies and Blockchain Technology will be adopted in bulk in the next 10 years.
1398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How 18-year old boy became Millionare from Bitcoin on: October 02, 2019, 04:05:18 PM
Nothing is impossible with the person who wants to get rich.  If the news is true i am happy for the reason that it inspires us all.In order to make it rich because of bitcoin it just shows that he is not weak hands and I think he has a lot of trust in bitcoin.  So while we are promoting crypto we may begin to explore what we can do to enrich the crypto world.  like his sudden wealth because of bitcoin
from what I see, Eric Finman is a smart person, The decision he took appropriately..  ordinary children certainly will not be able to make the right decisions before the age of 20 years, but he was able to predict and make good decisions, this is a gift from God for him.
1399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is investing in crypto a good idea? on: October 01, 2019, 09:40:19 PM
everyone on this forum will surely say "of course it's a good idea"...  if your doubt is still greater than your beliefs, I suggest you invest in the top 10 cryptocurrencies circulating in the market...  just a suggestion from me, investing in cryptocurrency is more profitable than investing in other things.. wait till Bitcoin Bullish again, then your investment today will multiply.
1400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: October 01, 2019, 09:27:03 PM
Man Utd 1-1 Arsenal
Probably not a great result for either team as they both really needed to win. Man Utd are in a real struggle to get into the top 4 this season.

It seemed to be an easy win for Arsenal in my opinion.
I still cannot realize why Arsenal is not a stable team. They made excellent signings during the transfer period and yet they struggle to get crucial results.
I also think that Arsenal will win easily.. but in reality, McTominay is lucky to be able to give a goal for his team at home.  I am not a supporter of Arsenal but I appreciate their hard work in the match against MU at home.

(5/10/19) Liverpool VS Leicester, and surely this match will be won by Liverpool easily..  I don't underestimate Leicester, it's just that Leicester will have a hard time winning the match from Liverpool who is on the clouds  Grin
