1181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You think that governments might adopt cryptocurrencies to replace fiat currency on: November 29, 2019, 06:11:03 PM
However, would it be possible for in the future for governments around the world to create a cryptocurrency as a means of trade to replace fiat currency?

maybe 100 years from now it will be possible to do so, but it is impossible today because there are many governments that invoke the sovereignty of their governments to refuse many things when those same people of governments who invoke sovereignty issues like to accumulate their wealth in US dollars and buy homes and other properties in rich countries like the US
IMO.. 100 years from now is too long,  I predict that governments from various countries will adopt cryptocurrencies in the next 35-50 years.  the governments in various countries will not replace fiat currencies, they will make fiat currencies and cryptocurrencies in circulation together.
1182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who has entered a shop (non-BTC accepting) and asked if they will accept Crypto? on: November 29, 2019, 05:49:23 PM
I ask at every single store I visit - most people haven't a clue what I'm on about when I ask. Hopefully that encourages them to research later.

I'm very sure if this continues, the shop owner will find out what cryptocurrency is..  the owner of the average store still doesn't have a deep understanding of cryptocurrencies and still afraid of government rules!!  I often buy car wash materials and often idly ask shop owners, whether they will accept payments with Bitcoin.  the response from the shop owner was very good, he did not refuse, he said if the government really authorized cryptocurrency, then they would receive payments in cryptocurrency.
1183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: November 29, 2019, 05:19:40 PM
snip..
Arsenal are too late to do this.. why not from a few weeks ago, if this they (Arsenal) did, maybe they would be in the top 5 right now.

My Prediction (30/11/2019)

Liverpool (3) vs Brighton (0)
Man.City (2) vs Newcastle (0)
1184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever purchased bitcoins using eBay? on: November 29, 2019, 11:46:02 AM
never.. from the first time I got to know Bitcoin, I never bought Bitcoin on e-bay. I think that's a strange thing (buying Bitcoin on e-bay).

The fees are ridiculous. To buy 9USD worth of BTC,you have to pay 14USD via paypal.
It's weird that those people actually have sales.
maybe those who buy there are new people who want to buy Bitcoin but are afraid and don't trust local/international exchange!!  or the buyer is just seller manipulation.
1185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: November 29, 2019, 09:32:13 AM
tomorrow (11/30/19) Real Madrid will face Deportivo Alaves at the Mendiz stadium (Alaves home). if Real Madrid can win by 3 points, they will be in the first position to shift Barca in the standings..  my prediction of the match will end with a score of 3-1 or 2-0 (Madrid's victory).
1186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Satoshi hides his identity? on: November 29, 2019, 09:10:15 AM
I think some of the reasons Satoshi hide himself were because of security (fear of terror or threats), fear of being taxable, and the last one wanted to really live quietly and away from the media (this is my personal opinion)...  but whatever the Satoshi reason, personally I really admire him, he really is someone who deserves respect, he is really one of the world system modifiers.
1187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so few women buying into Bitcoin? on: November 29, 2019, 08:56:53 AM
It amazes me the number of men in crypto but women not so much.
When I talk to my girlfriend or female friends I feel like they don't care about it or I am crazy lol. I offered 3 of my female friends 10 dollars worth of Bitcoin via Coinbase to see if they will be interested.  I helped download the app, set up two-factor authentication and some other basic stuff. After a couple of months, they even don't recall how to access their wallets. I am very disappointed lol. Can someone explain to me why women are not interested in crypto?

the answer is very simple because on average they (women) think investing in cryptocurrency is a man's job and they only take care of the kitchen and their appearance!!   I say this because this is my personal experience.  the woman in our house (my wife) never wanted me to teach her how to invest and get cryptocurrency.. she always says "it's your business, I don't want to bother and the kitchen is my business"  Cheesy
1188  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Ethflash.io - Ponzi scheme on: November 28, 2019, 09:07:11 PM
snip..
the Ponzi scheme again!!

Everyday these scammers are changing their way of stealing money from people but one thing is common everywhere which is "high return". Basically they are targeting new crypto users who are not well aware of this kinda obvious scam.
You're right.. everyday scammers continue to commit fraud by offering huge ROI (some don't even make sense).  poor newbie if they fall into the trap of this Ponzi scheme. I hope that no one falls into this con artist's trap.
1189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real reasons to Why do you gamble? on: November 28, 2019, 06:31:36 PM
Why do you gamble?

Because you are looking for entertainment?

looking for entertainment is my main reason and the second reason is profit..  gambling is very entertaining but it would be even more entertaining if we won gambling.  I've seen people who lose gambling become depressed and crazy, so some people still make "profit" is the main reason they gamble.
1190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When next bull run happen?? on: November 28, 2019, 05:26:31 PM
This is a question that I think is very funny Cheesy no one is able to say accurately when the time for Bull run arrives unless he/she is able to see the future.  but the majority predict Bull run will occur in 2021, we better follow the predictions of the majority.
1191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will the price of Ethereum be tomorrow? on: November 28, 2019, 04:38:37 PM
Post your price predictions Ethereum will be at in the next 24 hours and why.

I predict Ethereum prices will not rise too high.. it's likely that in the next 24 hours it will only increase 2% - 4% following the increase in the price of Bitcoin (2% in the last 24 hours).
1192  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Top 5 Ways to Earn Crypto While You Sleep on: November 27, 2019, 03:21:28 PM
How about mining? It is also a way to earn crypto while you are sleep.
You are right.. I think the OP forgot this  Cheesy I have a small mine in my room, my mining machine works 24 hours, even when I sleep, so Mining is one way to get Crypto when sleeping.
1193  Other / Meta / Re: 10th anniversary art contest badge voting on: November 27, 2019, 02:40:22 PM
I'm personally confused about which one to choose because everything is very good. Congratulations to all the artists who have been nominated, all works produced are the best and a form of loyalty to the Bitcointalk.org forum.
1194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Damaged salary on: November 27, 2019, 02:24:33 PM
I am not sure what you mean. I really hope that you posted by mistake in gambling, since the other option would be that you've been gambling with money you clearly didn't afford lose, which nobody should do.
I'm talking about how hard it is when you lose everything at stake, what feelings you have, and what decisions you make.
That's exactly how I feel, and I had a strong desire to reach out to these people
everyone has a different way of dealing with the problems they face, and you will not be able to reach out to everyone's feelings one by one..  Personally I don't think too much about what I did before, I let every loss I get, I think the lost money can I get again but time can not I get again...  I would only waste energy, time and maybe get sick if I kept thinking about the money I had lost.
1195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble with a controlled mindset on: November 27, 2019, 01:53:32 PM
Your mindset can be controlled is only if you put in effort into it.
Nothing will be possible in this world without efforts. You need to be conscious all the times what you need to achieve. Being conscious must be a key for being successful in gambling. By being conscious, I mean to say being disciplined and controlling your mind.
it is very difficult to do this because human is very weak against his/her own greed.  but as you said earlier, all that can be done as long as the person has awareness, aware of his abilities, aware of the limits that must be set and aware that greed is a stupid thing.  in gambling, greed is the only thing that will make someone broken.
1196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Social experiments in the world of gambling on: November 27, 2019, 01:26:07 PM
If someone bet and he suffers a big loss and then goes here to ask a little help from you, are you willing to give him help?
I will only help people who are really having a hard time, and losing when gambling is not a difficulty!!  my personal experience, people who lose big in gambling will never return the services, energy or money we help, they only use us and will not help us when we have difficulties in the future.
1197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The new Faketoshi strikes again! on: November 26, 2019, 07:36:45 PM

I wonder in the next few decades how many people will call themselves as Satoshi because in this year there were already 2 people who called themselves satoshi..  what a strange person  Cheesy
1198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The ridiculous projects of this year on: November 26, 2019, 07:24:05 PM
Now 2020 is already getting nearer i want to know which projects are the most ridiculous this year, either through investing or bounty hunting, for me its BlueNote, a bounty project from a well known bounty manager called 'Arteezy'. With due respect Arteezy have conduct good bounties as well like tokoin among others, What about you?
Tokoin is one of the projects that gave me great results this year just from joining Twitter and Facebook campaigns and that really surprised me.  Arteezy is one of the best Bounty managers, I'm happy with the projects that are handled...
1199  Economy / Goods / Re: Bitcoin Painting, need your opinion. on: November 26, 2019, 07:08:25 PM
IMO.. the painting that your mother has made is good and has a sale value, but I haven't found a characteristic in this painting.  and I think you should make a discount so this painting can attract more buyers.
1200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Government Could Shutdown Bitcoin? on: November 26, 2019, 05:53:57 AM
I read this article online that the government could stop the Bitcoin? Easily using a simple trick.
Making the bitcoin market price staying in under a 1000$ for a long time and wait for the people to lose interest in it.
bullshit by the government that says being able to kill Bitcoin slowly has often been said by the media.. in fact, they (the government) only continue to say nonsense on an ongoing basis!!  Bitcoin will not be abandoned even if it drops to $1,000, but the opposite will happen..  Bitcoin will be increasingly hunted if it returns to the price of $1000.  to be honest, I will sell one of my houses to buy Bitcoin if the price of Bitcoin drops to $1000.
