i'm not really that into all this ASIC business but in my eyes this chip doesn't really look that groundbreaking O_o

It's weakest of all the new chips. Avalon might just give them out very very cheap.

So keep us informed. Is there a website?

We can assume info to appear in this official page.
https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Avalon3
http://downloads.canaan-creative.com/hardware/A3233/A3233Q48-140313-V01-EN.pdf

They give chips free for system designers. Avalon wants to be only the Chipmaker. This 2U rackmount design made with A3255 chips with 3 blades was said to be compatible with these new A3233 chips. It has chipcount of 210.

So i declare this to be the machine. 70chips / blade. Hope i'm wrong, lol. If not this design, 210 chips is still huge unit. Bigger than anything made sofar.

Looking good and price getting better for 1TH everyday

only difficulty is going up... and 1Th/s for that price will not break even...

yeah. no factory will sell with huge positive ROI

Break even is matter of so many things and power consumption is hard to transfer $$ over time. You need to count over +100days and hope for the best. Best bet is to buy lower watts machines. In theory you could run them longer. Those Scrypt miners sell like hot hot where their break eaven is so distant future none knows whats going on with altcoins lol

If you count it to earn 250$ /day you do it lot easyer with bitcoin mining than Scrypt miners.

Mining has become factory race. So many people intrested and things sell eaven with overpriced $$$
Whole business model for investing 1000$ to earn 2000$ is wrong lol

These are not the best chips out there. A1 Coincraft does 1TH with lesser chips. They might win the race by dropping price faster than Avalon. 210 chips sound... meh alot!

I prefer the A1 chips now

Pay attention to what was said:  the pool servers are fine, they didn't get hacked.  The portal, however, is a different story.  Wiz is on it.

Wiz:  I hope you're logging IP addresses, and have some back logs to troll.  I'd be interested in knowing if the jack wagon changing the NMC address did so from the same IP as one of your registered users.  He'd be a poor hacker if he did, but half these script kiddies don't understand how network services work, anyway.

The IP of the attacker is 178.252.115.200, but this obviously isn't all that useful.  This IP is actually associated with some attempted low-hashrate mining with the following addresses: 141Ui93eV83HSnpyDcvdtGtR3UqwYss5q7, 17hpCt7vWLCksCpUgQpFURjWHjZDhNDYhz, 1MsMx8hfYW6tS1Y9oGZhAbSqvrD8DDgNzN.  But, no earnings to speak of on these, really.

Note: I have no issues publicly revealing private data like this on attackers.

Yeh. thx for sharing

Updated - 1TH Bitmine miners in stock . Can only run at 1TH/s , off the wall takes 880watt . we are improving the firmware to be able to overclock to 1.3 we are certian that we will be able to get to perform to 1.3TH/s very soon!

Very good you got this too. Sorry that the price is 1000$ over the other resellers selling same units in here. You have to improve it or go fishing in ebay.

Has the site been hacked or something?  I went to the stats page for my miner to see if it was up yet and I'm getting flooded with pop-up windows:

http://eligius.st/~wizkid057/newstats/userstats.php/182PKPSURTdb8Aner86prJGKb4FC2k844v

The message from eligius is there about the stats being down, but a ton of pop-up windows start opening up.  What's up with that?

There are no popups. it's your computer and browser containing adware and spamming programs.
Run malware scans and so on. Soon your wallet is empty  Shocked
452  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: 28nm ** 1T ** 900W【JingTian miner】 in production !!! on: March 13, 2014, 09:56:58 AM
So you say.

Still, this does not change the fact that Innosilicon does not have the rights to produce and distribute the A1 chips without bitmine's permission.

There's more than one IP inside the chip.

All stakeholders must unanimously agree on the conditions of use. There is no disagreement between stakeholders regarding bitmine's right to sell the A1 chip. There is disagreement between stakeholders regarding Innosilicon's right to sell the A1 chip.

Now these two love birds may work it out in the end with Innosilicon also obtaining the rights to sell the chip. But as things stand, Innosilicon does not have the right to sell the chip and therefore all Chinese miners based on the 28nm A1 chips obtained from Innosilicon are the product of IP theft.

You have lost your Battle. Cant imagine whats your motivation to keep up this silly fight... you cant win this.
Who ships out miner gets the sales. Innosilicon secluded rights to sell the chip. Bitmine has failed and keeps on failin. What ever they make china makes x10 of these miners with 50% of the costs.

Nothing stops production in China if there is $ to make. They do not have copyright laws, you can cry all you want eaven multibillion companys have failed in China to secure some of their IP

Bitmine is out of the game. They screwed their customers, they had weak contract with the maker. Lesson learned time to move on. This stuff happens all the time. Who can keep their customers will win... Dont look too good for Bitmine. Looks hell of a better for Chinese makers who can cut the costs and bring up these miners with 2500$ and lower eventually..
453  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Unofficial BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: March 13, 2014, 09:53:37 AM

I replaced just those 3 industrial fans. Evey user is responsible for modifications, voids warranty and so on. It runs cool enough in 21c room temp, but silent.

what fans did you replace them with? info
and
link to the product please

thanks

Original ones are Industrial fans with max cfm 150-200... these are _only_ 70cfm so they move roughly 60% of the air. But very silent.
It's possible to cool these units with lesser fans IF you run them in not too hot enviroment. You fry the chips, your own fault... any small enough room will heat up with 1kw heater.

I've pasted this link all over the forums Cheesy They also work for antminers..

454  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Unofficial BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: March 12, 2014, 11:21:44 PM
my normal gaming machine running on 800W, script minning at 500 mhz (gpu clock speed at 1150 and mem at 1200) (high for single card in script mining) whit no sound all the time (its around 780W it relay pulls from the wall... but still....) so "bullshit" on that...

780 Watts is not a 1000 Watts

All air cooled ASIC miners I've seen are noisy. Even the water cooled BabyJets I have hear make more noise than is comfortable to sleep next, and they are only 500 Watts. The main reason is they are all overclocked to the max to get more performance. I don't know anybody that runs their ASIC at half speed (or that can afford to run it at half speed)

How do you air cool 780 Watts "whit no sound all the time", really.... Does it have a fan? Does it move air? Then you have noise

This is silent. Very silent. Video has sound. Using same Chips as these bitmain miners. Running stable +1 week

https://www.dropbox.com/s/7qlfnm5d4tofn5s/2014-03-04%2009.48.33.mp4

Its modified to be silent

I replaced just those 3 industrial fans. Evey user is responsible for modifications, voids warranty and so on. It runs cool enough in 21c room temp, but silent.

Would you sleep next to it... maybe not. But having it in next room and you cant hear it. You have to take consideration these unita heat any room...

They better have stock still. with this price these will selll Alot!! You can still mine 1BTC with Antminer no matter what. Next jump this week is "only" 12% Knc wont ship anything in next 100days. Maybe Coincraft A1 clones will hit the market but price diffrence is wayy too big atm.

New Coupons, OMG wheres the AA...Antminer-Anonymous... cant resist, must order more Roll Eyes i received 4 coupons and my last order was this morning. Before Price drop.
457  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 Sales open] Price changes daily, now 1.11 BTC for 180GH/s on: March 10, 2014, 01:41:47 PM

Looks perfect.
30mm is enough to get grip, if the spacer bolt is not too thick. Cougar has rubber in both ends so theres 1mm extra. Over 40mm will touch components in top left & right.

Try with 1 set.
458  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 Sales open] Price changes daily, now 1.11 BTC for 180GH/s on: March 10, 2014, 11:41:04 AM
Do the cougar fans come with the fixation screws required, or do they need to be purchased separately ?
If so can you share the length/size of these screws ?

Thanks

No they dont have. You need +30mm screws. You need 1 spacer bolt or something or the cougars go too deep and fan will hit the frame.
Easy assembly but you need 2 screws & bolts for each fan. Maybe 4... i was lazy. Also my bolts were too long for top left corner. Anything longer than 40mm will hit 1 capacitor.

I am away from home until March 15th (it is very rare I am away this long).

Does this mean we can expect manual payouts to happen somewhere next weekend or after.
