Any problems today? Payout doesn't seem to be processing at set limits. Is it because of the additional 800 miners pointing there in the last week or two?! EDIT: 15 minutes or so after this post....coins are processed, a little over the payout limit, but as long as it works  Server can handle much more miners  Hot wallet was empty. It happens from time to time. Issue has been solved. |

Captcha.
Yesterday I introduced new filters to limit recent dictionary attacks on Coinotron. Those filters shouldn't affect regular users. They detect ip addresses from which there were lately frequent unsuccessful login requests and mark them as potential attackers. Next time someone is trying to sign in using such ip address he must solve Captcha.
Regular user will see Capcha only if he is using same ip as marked one ( same proxy or tor server ).

easy. Conotron if u want to get stratum working for PPC then my stratum is at github.com/ahmedbodi/stratum-mining. Works with mysql/postgresql/sqlite afaik, to get it working with ppc edit lib/bitcoin_rpc.py and remove the {} from the getblocktemplate function

Im currently mining LTC in Coinotron mining pool and Im having some problems:
Im not sure why but my hashrate is constantly changing , sometimes its much lover than my actual hashrate (its about 850-900 kh/s) and someitmes it comes down to 500-550 and sometimes it gets up to 1330 kh/s.Im mining with 2 ATI Radeon 7950 cards and I still havent overclocked them yet. Im using cg miner.
Hope someone will help me with this.

LTC pool uses high share difficulty and calculates hashrate over short period of time: 10 min. This generates fluctuations you are observing. I'm planning to extend averaging period to 30 min. That should help a lot. |

I'm mining with a completely new R9 280x from sapphire. And I've noticed that the miner doesn't get shares done. even with 600 khash. here's my settings;
cgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://coinotron.com:3334 -u user.1 -p pass --thread-concurrency 8192 -I 13 -g 2 -w 256 --shaders 2048

Hi all.
I noticed something strange. Been mining on coinotron for the last 12 hours. I should have got 0.4 ltc. But I have only received 0.12. My estimated coins per 24 hours is 0.80.
12am I had a total of 3.74 ltc. 12 pm I only have 3.87.
Cgminer is running as normal. No errors etc.
Where's the other .28 gone which I should have got.
Anyone else notice funny rewards?

1. Today we reduced LTC Minimum Withdrawal Limit to 0.3 LTC
2. New registrations are currently suspended.
3. PPC pool is closed temporarily. Current getwork based version consumed too much server resources. We are working on Stratum implementation. Withdrawals are working.

Any chance you might ever add more coins? BBQcoin Worldcoin Anoncoin or Digitalcoin maybe. I know its more work and I know you can't add all coins but your the only alt coin pool I trust and I'm tired of getting ripped off
Sadly, I don't plan to add more coins in near future. Since October number of active miners doubled. I'm spending most of my time on users support and pool administration. |

my graphic card is not able to mine PPC anymore and i cant take out what i mined so far

PPC shares are not moving from unconfirmed to confirmed at the moment, its taking a bit longer than usual. Anything needed to fix this, or am I just being impatient?
I checked it out. There is nothing unusual. 520 confirmations takes about 3 days. |
