I've been talking to the dev and suggesting the team should push for TOR Anon support on this coin. Freedom and security for communication but also for the coin itself.
What do you guys think?

Anonymity in Talkcoin is a key aspect because there are a lot of internet users who want private and secure communications and there is very little choice in the market. But right now we are finishing the basics like improving public chat and voting. Good to see the update, thanks. Maybe DEV team needs another developer/coder? I've been mining and in the TAC community for 6-8 weeks and development is very very slow. I think the dev is good but not fast. There are people that with a dev fund could help out for a fee. Is talkcoin open to hiring another coder? |

Qora is a new project, almost different from the main cryptos.Our qoal is not only to promote it as it is, but to enhance it with new features to make it the "market changer".
And this will be achieve only by let raising the number of the involved members.I.E. the date that the source of Qora will be published, yes, it is a day that our marketing efforts will might bring new people to the project - community (that's a "mission").
I'd like to see the Qora marketing vision evolve to something like: "the first cryptocurrency implemented on traditional stock exchanges by June 20, 2015." (of course due to enhanced features including lightening validation speed, effective transaction boosting, and featherweight blockchain size). Let's get to the big leagues marketing team. PS - I have no idea what you are rambling about in the strikethrough bits, sorry. |

One warning before I go. If Qora was BCNext and he got tired of all the talk and discussion and not action then don't be surprised if he gets tired again of NXT 2.0. Community and leaves early.
Kind of contradicts what you were saying about taking action before Qora makes a move  So I'm out at least for the time being at least, sold most of my coins and will buy in later if things develop. I hope this new direction in the end is more successful than Qora's would of been. Good luck.

Have we forgotten so soon Qora's plan:
The plan for this currency is simple.
step 1: Catch up with other cryptocurrencies.
step 2: Surpass the other cryptocurrencies.
step 3: Staying ahead and marketing.
I will not focus on marketing until all the features are implemented.
We've seen what Qora can do...as such, Qora should direct technical development and pace at which marketing is implemented.Qora must do what is necessary for Qora to succeed. With the exception of a few in the community (agran, dzarmush, maybe a few others), it's clear that community members' ideas are not that great and lead to major divisions. Who wouldn't want to follow Qora's original plan? If not, please give reasons why Qora's vision is not good enough. |

I'm still mining Talkcoin not because profitability, but because NIST5, cold GPUs, low consumption, and support the coin and this community that I really like.
I've been mining TAC with 6 R9 290xs for over 6 weeks! My electricity bill dropped from $600 USD mining scrypt coins to about $200 USD mining NIST5. Forget going back to scrypt! TAC is awesome, even if payout is low now...it will adjust in a few days! Great coin dev. |

So, I read the following quote on the NXT thread discussing a bug that occurred a few hour ago (still not sure what really happened but appears to be a tx from an account without enough funds - funds were sent to the account with "insufficient funds" and the blockchain regained momentum: The more hallmarked nodes, the larger the network. The larger the network, the more trouble for DoS'ers. The network has to be large enough to outnumber DoS'ers. Besides, CfB said that Transparent Forging will be implemented only when the network is large enough. He believes it is not large enough now. So, set up more public (hallmarked) nodes or if you can't, buy NSC asset on the Asset exchange to support other people setting up nodes for the network.
This got me thinking... Since NHZ has a larger/stronger network atm, would it be possible to beat NXT to the post re: transparent forging. Could NHZ devs develop and implement TF before nxt. NHZ still may not have a secure/well distributed enough network but talk about a great marketing strategy! LOL Not sure what you mean with your last sentence. For me, marketing is all about getting more people involved. Which will make the network even stronger, and hopefully also bring in people who can contribute with i.e. coding. We got a large and stable network (not a single incident, blockchain running smooth since nearly 3 months), and enough funds to pay a lot of contributors. All we're missing is a bigger community. I agree with what you say about marketing. I was thinking that if TF was implemented, it would draw many new users...I may be wrong but NXT has delayed TF for some time but the idea is received very well by all NXTers. Re marketing...NHZ has basically done very little. Only myself and the rest of the community are to blame. It would be great to recruit a professional team for this and pay them from bounties... I remember this was being discussed recently. Everyone seems busy with other projects. |

Sent NHZ a few hours ago from poloniex to my wallet. Couple of issues and observations with block explorer that has come to my attention.
1) RE: transfer from polo - The balance shows in my wallet (89 confirmations) and on the block explorer but not on the "accounts page" or my account page!? My account is showing additional forged txs since the polo transfer but still no tx from polo. The tx is also not shown from poloniex account.
Looks like a similar situation we had before but worse. If I remember correctly, before there was a slight delay; this appears to not show txs at all.
2) Couldn't we follow accounts from a block page before (i.e. track txs)? Now this is not possible, at least as far as I can tell - "transactions" link is gone.
3) Seems searches (account/ex, etc) are not working in the explorer.
Please have a look. Thanks.
Edit: enjoying v3.1 - not sure how much use the AE will get at this stage of NHZ's development but nice to have the option!

Thank you z. I am really happy that I have the very first Qora painting.  Hi Like a week ago I received 2 requests to make special Qora paintings. One of request was from someone who wanted one painting to be bought by community for Qora developer and one painting for himself but that deal is currently on stand-by. Another request is successfuly completed so I present you with the first ever Qora painting (as far as I'm aware of). Price for it was 500 USD (excluding shipping). Blocks are not loading on my NFD client. How to "reload" blocks in my client? Thanks.
Did you set a hallmark? initial startup only works without hallmark. That's a known issue. After blockchain download you can set again hallmark. No hallmark set. Anything to do to load blocks on client. Tried restart (Win8) |
