Hallo allemaal.

graag jullie reaktie daarin.

bedankt.

443  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGminer v2.7.5 on Broadcom based DD-WRT / OpenWRT on: September 12, 2012, 10:43:14 PM
can someone explain what the setup is?  i don't understand why you'd want to run cgminer on a router.  you're not trying to mine with the router's proc right?..

no, you mine on the FPGA attached to the router via USB, attached to the router instead of a pc because a router uses very little electricity

It would be useful if the list of blocks remaining unconfirmed could be stretched so we could get a better idea of when the blocks we have contributed too are likely to reach 520 confirmations.

Also, what is the payment system is it PPNS?

isnt that already here http://46.166.138.142/stats.php ?

Huh
heb iets niet goed gelezen
450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [PPC] NothinG's Pool (Beta Testing) on: August 26, 2012, 07:18:18 PM
i tried with cgminer also, same problem , it does work when i mine solo though ...
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Massively Merged Mining on: August 26, 2012, 05:48:35 PM
from FPGA-README.txt from cgminer:

Bitforce

--bfl-range         Use nonce range on bitforce devices if supported

This option is only for bitforce devices. Earlier devices such as the single
did not have any way of doing small amounts of work which meant that a lot of
work could be lost across block changes. Some of the "minirigs" have support
for doing this, so less work is lost across a longpoll. However, it comes at
a cost of 1% in overall hashrate so this feature is disabled by default. It
is only recommended you enable this if you are mining with a minirig on
p2pool.

, long polling works but maybe not as good on p2pool... but i'm not sure if this is still .. up to date , with ASICS i don't know if they support --bfl-range,

i dont really know anything  Tongue

[2012-08-26 06:51:50] 8 miner threads started, using 'sha256d' algorithm.
[2012-08-26 06:52:11] HTTP request failed: couldn't connect to host

i'm getting a lot of messages like this:

******* exception encountered *******
ProcessMessages(tx, 798 bytes) : Exception 'CDataStream::read() : end of data' caught, normally caused by a message being shorter than its stated length
ProcessMessage(tx, 798 bytes) FAILED
askfor tx a23942f142d07b45a397   0
sending getdata: tx a23942f142d07b45a397

in %APPDATA%\Roaming\PPCoin\debug.log

i dont know what it means or if it is important..., miners are working correctly (at least, so it seems)

454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PPC] PPCoin Released! - First Long-Term Energy-Efficient Crypto-Currency on: August 26, 2012, 03:52:49 AM
yes ,
i got it working, had to restart ppcoind.exe  Roll Eyes

only mining locally, want to try on your pool tomorrow, i'm going to sleep now

edit:
fyi im using poolers cpu miner for best performance, it looks like it is ~10Mhash faster

minerd -a sha256d -o http://127.0.0.1:9902 -u user -p pass

(and on the other machine i use cgminer for the gpu)
455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PPC] PPCoin Released! - First Long-Term Energy-Efficient Crypto-Currency on: August 26, 2012, 03:02:02 AM
ive installed it on 2 computers, now i thought it was smart to connect one miner to the other computer like this

bitcoin-miner-64.exe -t 4 -o http://ppcoinrpc:passwordblabla@192.168.0.102:9902
but it says:
HTTP 403: Forbidden
HTTP 403: Forbidden
0 kHash/s          4 CPU threads

when i use:
bitcoin-miner-64.exe -t 4 -o http://ppcoinrpc:passwordblabla@127.0.0.1:9902

it does work

Using CPU (4 threads)
12.92 MHash/s      4 CPU threads

i've added these lines in ppcoin.conf:
rpcallowip = 127.0.0.1
rpcallowip = 192.168.0.102

is that correct way to add more ips?  something seems to be wrong, anyone knows how to connect one computer miner to the ppcoind server that is running on the other?

edit: i guess i have to setup ssl like this https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Enabling_SSL_on_original_client_daemon

but havent been able to do this... because i'm on windows... , tried connecting to NothinG's pool, also does not work (same connection problems) ...

457  Local / Nederlands (Dutch) / Re: Nu.nl artikel on: August 24, 2012, 12:17:44 PM
