Merry  Christmas everyone! I hope you all are having good holiday with your family and bitcoin!
is that what is called resolution?
Somewhat that can be a resolution for someone who's not doing it, I know some persons who set goals in holding bitcoin for the next year. There are still some people who are risking money for nonsense scam programs out there.
443  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Do You Make Money With Bitcoin? on: December 27, 2019, 05:08:16 AM
I was a day trader back then but it took a big toll on me spending almost the whole day in front of my computer/cellphone everyday for almost a month, since them I am now a holder of bitcoin for longterm investment. Plus I can't totally focus on bitcoin now so being a holder is my only choice due to some hustles needed to be tackled first.

445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your thought about halving? on: December 26, 2019, 09:51:13 AM
Miners will surely have a harder life in mining bitcoin due to halving that the reward per block is lessened by 50% with that being said mining the remaining bitcoins left will take longer time and with low supply circulating right now bitcoins price may increase but not by a significant amount during or after the halving.
446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would a Crypto Based Economy Make Things Safer? on: December 26, 2019, 08:36:49 AM
Would this create a more safer community? would this cause people not to resort to crime? substance abuse? etc?
Pretty sure that it wouldn't make a safer community of people will base on cryptocurrency rather than fiats. Cryptocurrency can't remove crimes, even substance abuse or drug addiction. It may instead make a more dangerous environment. Plus cryptocurrency has nothing to do with all these problems at all so how do you think it will help the community to be safer?
447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has gone up the past week. on: December 26, 2019, 05:53:33 AM
It has gone up around $800, do you think they could run it up and then I would come down before January 1 before the new year. Or they will not come in to play?  I’m waiting for some money to clear to buy some. And I don’t know right now is the best time to buy
Who knows what may happen on bitcoins price. We all hope that bitcoins prices will boom before the new year.
The chart movements are giving us hope so maybe bitcoins price would rise this year? But one thing is for sure, bitcoins price will never be as low as it is 4 years ago. Cheers and happy holidays!

450  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much bitcoin to buy? on: December 25, 2019, 06:53:16 AM
Thoughts on this am I getting carried away
I think a little bit. Stocks for me is still a lot safer investment compared to bitcoin in the longterm and it looks like you pulled most of your investment in stocks to buy bitcoin which is still a smart move considering its bitcoin. But nevertheless both stock and bitcoin is a good decision  Grin good luck mate.
451  Economy / Speculation / Re: When is the perfect time to sell BTC? on: December 23, 2019, 09:35:09 AM
Perfect time is always when you are in the profit side. Every time you profit thats the right time to sell. Dont be too greedy waiting for huge multipliers you'll just lose money. Dont ever fall for people saying hold and hold just sell and re roll your money to make more profits.

453  Economy / Speculation / Re: What’s your expectation on 2020 Halving year?! on: December 22, 2019, 10:09:46 AM
My expectation isn't too high like what I expect way back from the first halving. I expect back then that bitcoins price will immediately double and I was wrong. Year 2020s pump I'm just expecting a slight pump on bitcoins price in the later months after the halving and huge dump before the halving happen. Maybe be back at around 10-13k?
454  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It’s a curiosity to know on: December 21, 2019, 11:46:26 AM
I think it decreased comparing to how many sign ups they are receiving back in year 2017. Year 2017 was a wealthy year for cryptocurrency a very good year indeed that spread news and hype about crypto and that maybe is the reason why the number of signups increase in that year. After that is bitcoins dump year up until now and that can be a cause of people getting less interested in bitcoin.
455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who holds the most bitcoins? on: December 20, 2019, 11:14:10 PM
Me.  I own the most bitcoins.  Prove me wrong?
No one can prove that you’re wrong because we don’t know your hidden bitcoin address. This statement proves to us that we can’t fully know who holds the most bitcoin because being anonymous really matters here. Anyone can claim that they hold a lot of bitcoin but it will take you years or decade to know is its real or not, imagine the number of bitcoin address, you’ll just stress yourself here.

But if you own the most bitcoins, are you gonna be here roaming around the forum? Because more than likely, you are already enjoying your life, an early retirement perhaps. So why bother to make your life so hard if you are already a wealthy man?
Being a wealthy man is not just about early retirement and enjoying your fortune. What is wrong around roaming and communicating here? The forum who supports what made you wealthy and financialy stable. Joining discussion here does not make your life hard, perhaps it really helps you because you are gaining knowledge from other people.

457  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitcoin Trader Scam on: December 20, 2019, 08:59:13 AM
Sorry for your loss OP.

Which is why I think we need a scam alert discord or telegram channel if it exist someone please point me to it... Badbitcoin website is good but need instant chat channel to discuss with humans.
That's unnecessary. What's important is to have a good sense of identifying scams: don't send money to a stranger on the internet, don't trust them, double-check for phishing, avoid a too-good-to-be-true deal, learn how to research reputation online, etc. There are way too many scam websites/profiles out there to be listed and scammers are just going to make a new profile/website, make a new, clean name.
It is not necessary but it would really help for sure. Atlest for some people who does not have a good sense of indentifying scams that would really help them a lot. There are too many websites yes, some of them are catchy and looks to be real but in the end will turn out as scam.
458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will China Accept Bitcoin As A Currency? on: December 19, 2019, 11:15:09 AM
The chance of bitcoin being accepted as a currency in China is really high. Looking at how the Chinese government approaches bitcoin and the whole cryptocurrency world they are really positive about it. So yeah maybe not now but for sure in the future, they will accept it.

460  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I don't see the transaction in my wallet but only in blockchain on: December 19, 2019, 01:56:00 AM
Its finally appeared after 4-5 hours. What is going on with paxful I thought its a good website without this scary delays
It is not paxfuls fault. It is the network that is currently experiencing delays. That happens to me a lot. Also maybe there is a certain amount of confirmation that needed to be done in the network before it reflects in your wallet. My wallet works like that, transactions need to have more than 6 confirmation before it reflects.
