I'd like to know how you determine PPLNS a scam?

https://doge.united-miners.com/index.php?page=statistics&action=blocks

You can see we get blocks here.

We had a long block which was 500% luck and took nearly 2 days - I presume this is when you were mining. Since then we have got the luck back and are getting blocks frequently.

This pool is not a scam - you should learn how PPLNS works before making such accusations.

We are growing as a pool and community because we are good at what we do, and we put the users first. We have a very active IRC support community and are here to help whenever we can (more than can be said for a lot of pools).

The luck of the whole pool is still only 90% so we're finding blocks 10% quicker than normal.
447  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 open for sale again] The last round before the Chinese New Year on: January 24, 2014, 10:01:05 AM
Is there anything we can do about UPS in terms of compensation?

As some of you are probably in the same batch as me going to the EU (shipped 21st or 22nd), we have got this message:

Mumbai, India    23/01/2014    17:59   A flight delay occurred because of aircraft mechanical reasons.

It has not moved since, the ETA still says end of today, but the tracking hasn't been updated so can't see it going from India to my house in the 7 or so hours.

This then moves it on over the weekend until at least Monday, which is basically .15 BTC lost (3 days mining).

i think its called
Life mate
im in the same boat / plane as you and a lot of other miners are

Well yeah I know that, have others hashing anyway and this was nice and cheap so..

I just heard rumours of UPS providing compensation for late deliveries that was all, but then I guess that would be like getting blood out of a stone Tongue

That's alot of pool spam from morehash, and it's technically incorrect.

We found 932 of the first 1400, and currently 1159 of the 2000 blocks available right now.

I'm all for competition, but diluting the thread with spam does not gain anything for the coin Smiley.

Hey guys,

http://fox.united-miners.com is updating all payments now, we're up to block 783 as I type now, and everything is fixed Smiley

As I say before - all shares and blocks were accounted for, so there's no reason to stop mining Smiley)

Thanks again,

Matt

I can see I have coins, but I cannot get the coins since I keep getting "Token expired, please try again"...

Will you please look into this as soon as possible (I saw more had the same problem)?

I have the same problem locked out my account i emailed them they are offline

Hey guys, had the same error.
Tried simple log out and log in and works now...

Hey yep this is a common thing, either log in and out, or go to dashboard and back to edit account Smiley

When we had the issues we had to update to the latest version, and that introduces some security changes we didn't want to enable yet.

We've now sorted them out so everything should be ok!

This coin isn't taking over anything with it's homepage having that kinda font.

Did the web guy not know anything about usability or accessability?  Huh Huh

hmm which pool are u guys thinking?
Those with fees and other pools? or those pop up ones? hmmm

Definitely http://fox.united-miners.com Tongue

On a side note:

The thing to remember with fees is - pools have to pay for servers etc, personally even without owning a pool, I'd be a bit suspicious of pools running on 0% fees - either bad/slow hardware (like a VPS or other shared hardware, or even an Atom-based dedicated server etc), or they are big enough to not need fees and get it from donations (wemineLTC for example).

Generally, a 0.5-2% fee is not much in relation to everything - if you look at your rejects/discards it will probably be higher than 1%, so to me it's never really an issue.

My opinion may come across as biased due to owning a pool, but that's how I mined before United-Miners was around, and my opinion hasn't changed Smiley
455  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Announcement: Bitmain launches AntMiner solution, 0.68 J/GH on chip on: January 19, 2014, 08:26:34 PM
Just sent an email to the email on the About page - my order just got Expired even though I sent the BTC Sad

It's shown up in the block explorer fine and now has 6 confirms, but I guess something has gone wrong their end!!

same. Im at 9 confirmations. I trust bitmain so i am not concerned, but would feel better seeing a 'PAIED' status

Hehe yep, I bought 2 seperately and one went through fine, so presume its just a backend failure somewhere Smiley

Sods law I bought them at the same time too :p

did you get a coupon? I have funds to order a second but am holding off because i want to see if the first order gives me a coupon i can use on the second order. if only it would confirm.... *note: i paid from 2 sources, but the destination address has a full 1.7 BTC in it and the payments were sent roughly 10min and 15min after going through the checkout

EDIT: wrent ahead with a second order, paid the entire 1.9BTC from a bitcoin-qt wallet, and its showing within 30seconds. The other order still has no confirmation from Bitmain though.

I had already bought 2 at 2.2BTC which are delivering tomorrow, but bought 2 more today due to the coupons.

1 tracked fine on payment, other shows nothing Smiley.
