Is there anything we can do about UPS in terms of compensation?

As some of you are probably in the same batch as me going to the EU (shipped 21st or 22nd), we have got this message:

Mumbai, India    23/01/2014    17:59   A flight delay occurred because of aircraft mechanical reasons.

It has not moved since, the ETA still says end of today, but the tracking hasn't been updated so can't see it going from India to my house in the 7 or so hours.

This then moves it on over the weekend until at least Monday, which is basically .15 BTC lost (3 days mining).

im in the same boat / plane as you and a lot of other miners are
Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Well yeah I know that, have others hashing anyway and this was nice and cheap so..

I just heard rumours of UPS providing compensation for late deliveries that was all, but then I guess that would be like getting blood out of a stone Tongue

Guys first of all I would like to thank all of you that helped me get passed my problem.

I have managed to edit and save the configuration file and I am not getting any errors.

My problem now is that I am not getting any mining out of my Antminer either.

Miner status shows zero activity even though there are no errors now.

What?Huh?

What do I do?

1. Now you don't have ntp on the miner the clock might be wrong, check that first, go to system menu and click on "synch with browser"
2. If still not working, go to Network -> Diagnostics and put in your routers IP address and see if you can ping it, or put in something like www.google.com and see if you can ping that.

That should test you have your network setup correctly, if it fails then you need to setup the miner on your network properly.

I don't know if that is possible though, because I don't have physical connection to the miner nor the modem.
The pc is using the wireless network to connect to the miner.

hello,
i still get a little bit nervous, because my order is still not shipped.
The order date is 2014-01-21 08:19 and the status is paid and valid.
I wrote an email to the webmaster adress, but i did not get an answer.
Tomorrow is the last shipping day before the new year, so this is the last chance to get it, before it is to late and the antminer is no more profitable.
So bitmain if you read this, please reply and ship it.

Why is that?

EDIT: keeps rising, now its 145GHs
