Does anyone here have LedgerDex and would like to buy TCHN? I am selling my TCHN tokens due to changing life circumstances. I invested money in Tachain during the Presale. I am offering a discount of 50%.
If anyone here is interested, I could put a sell order via LedgerDex. That way, both sides are safe.

Dave

I've already accumulated my own. If you are in a hurry to sell did you consider selling it through a Philippines forum? given they will start operating in Manila. I am guessing there might be an interest?

I hope the team can meet their goals they have been bringing in a solid bit of money and their seems to be a lot of attention on the project so hopefully it will continue and then we can see the first tours of the property

Jacobus is in Boston at the moment; I think he flew there 2 days ago. He will commence in talks with different investors; they are all closed meetups.

I hope he schedules an AMA soon preferable a Youtube AMA so that discussion will go out there to investors on time so that there is no reason for raising FUD as to why a postponement of end of sales is imminent

They are consistent on keeping everyone informed of progress and new investors coming as private investors. Hopefully, they’ll do an AMA. But I guess they’re busy trying to make payout work soon.

I think an AMA would be helpful after their trip. Since they will be miningsoon given they reached their softcap everything added now is a plus. I think that is what they are trying to do now...get the large investments and not rely solely on the crowd sale.

Someone in here mentioned Canada I am not sure if that is true. I've dropped them a question if that is true and will see what they say.

Guy's I just want to know if anyone also facing same problem like me, after develope new landing page I couldn't get access direct social media links whenever trying from mobile but it's working from desktop site. So only I am facing this issue or have some people also?

Don't really get what you mean. Maybe you give a link or something to refer to for better understand of your point.
Let me explain you. On their landing page they kept some symbols of social medias. If we are clicking them so we are redirecting to their social medias accounts. But after updation of their landing page, if I am accessing from mobile browser I couldn't connect to their social medias.

Oh okay; I got it; however it is working now I've just double checked. Something I've noticed is that they apparently allow US investors. There is a form you can fill to show interest and then it goes from there. There is a different process though.
464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]REMCO : Worlds First Distributed Platform for Money Transfer on: October 23, 2018, 04:00:15 AM
If I understand it correctly, REMCO will be using a so-called Multichain blockchain. Does this mean that they are developing their own, new blockchain? Or will the tokens be based on the Ethereum blockchain?

Their token is ERC20 tokens. So I believe they use Ethereum blockchain atleast for the beginning. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

I checked their whitepaper. The Remittance token will definitely be on the Ethereum blockchain. But I am still not sure what is meant with multichain blockchain.

Nice. I was initially thinking they were going to build their own blockchain but it is nice that they are using the Ethereum blockchain.

I really like that; I mean I think instead of re-inventing the wheel one can just use an established network without having to do the whole blockchain again and then suffer generating volume and miners....etc It is easier to just use Ethereum.
465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🚀[ANN] [ICO] Tachain - Entertainment and Transportation Synergy🔥🚀 on: October 22, 2018, 10:12:08 AM
Starting in one area and then learning from any missteps and then spreading with that knowledge to even bigger markets is honestly the only way for a project like this to really succeed over time at a global scale, they have to slowly scale up into a powerhouse, and starting with the philippines is a great idea

Yea, I believe if the project gains success in the Philippines, it will be easier to implement as well as replicate that success anywhere else.

You guys shouldn't forget that scaling has to do with focusing on a new and wider tech while still keeping your previous audience focus. That will in order words mean that they will need to employ new man power for effectiveness and the challenge in that is the ability of these new guys to understand the plan and produce the needed result.

Scaling in my humble experience comes after traction. Traction is the most important bit; you create the customer base and then and only then you decide to scale. Why spend money trying to build  a scalable solution when there is no traction?

467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]REMCO : Worlds First Distributed Platform for Money Transfer on: October 22, 2018, 10:08:51 AM
I see you're making a Platform to make Money transfer worldwide Easier!
And seem to have a good number of Partners listed in website!
But services like WU transfer really interested in being decentralization with REMCO?

Who is the nearest competitor for Remco? Is it closer to Paypal? As far as I know, Paypal does not use blockchain. There are lots of room for improvement in this field. No doubt about it.

Yea, paypal is not a decentralized platform, so the mechanism in place for REMCO is quite different from that of paypal, that's something to leverage on and we know that the blockchain industry has so far been proven to be a lot faster than the traditional means of transactions, though a lot of improvements still needs to be done and i realize that their security process is quite unique

This project would bring together top firms in money transfer together. REMCO would revolutionize a multi billion dollar global remittance market. They plan to build a platform to allow any licensed money transfer firm.
Migrant workers globally have to send some money back home intermittently. REMCO tokens would cut down the high money transfer fees.

So now we don't have to visit any WU offices to send or receive money? It will be done online using blockchain technology?

This is what is my understanding as well. Now we don't have to visit any money transfer service provider office.

As of now most of us are relying on the most convenient way and thinking about even transfering money online is much easier now. We already know that we can transfer money online but what will be the difference if we're going to use the REMCO service?

REMCO services would be a platform for these licensed money transfer companies to run their platform. With that it’s cheaper or a reduced cost of transaction for users. I hope they get partnerships, that would use their multi chain.

Probably they will, they already got some huge partnership lined up from the traditional financial sector and with proper implementation and support they are likely to hit the intended requirements that will motivate others to come in, between, it will be best if they have like a response team here to help out with some questions as the project is a bit techie

I've always wondering why money transfer agencies did not adopt crypto yet. I mean all indications show they could really make use from it. I mean they could lower their fees and attract more transactions rather than increase fees and lower they volume.
468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⭐[ANN] [ICO] ONAM Exchange - Globalizing Seamless Trading Under One Platform⭐ on: October 22, 2018, 10:07:38 AM
I was wondering if we will be able to Trade ONAM TOKENS in other exchanges as well or just in the ONAM Exchange?
And listing will require ONAM token as fees or something ?

Interesting question, but I see Onam adopting the same method as Binance and have their token listed on only their exchange. This is a wise thing to do actually, as it will increase the value of the token.

If the value of the token rises sharply, it is probably an advantage if it is only traded on its own exchange. because all interested parties must then create an account there.
On the other hand, other exhanges might help increase the value of the token.
But I think Onam will be so successful, so the token is in good hands on the own exchange

If we make a comparison to Binance Coin that was only originally traded on the Binance exchange. Now it is traded on a few different exchanges. However investors will want to buy ONAM tokens on the ONAM exchange because otherwise traders will miss out on the benefits of holding the tokens on their exchange.

Now I had to see if that's true. because I always thought BNB can only be bought on Binance. But there are actually some other exchanges. But the volume is (with the exception of one) vanishingly small.
I still think that Onam Tokens should only be bought on the Onam Exchange

Yeah, I've spoken to the team and they confirmed that ONAM tokens will be exclusively traded on their exchange. Also, you will save 50% on fees if you hold the tokens on the exchange, so it makes sense to keep them on there.

Makes sense to drive demand on the platform. What do you mean by save 50% if you hold the tokens in the exchange? the 50% would be something like a bonus or you will get a 50% off on trading fee?

I think we will be able to save transaction fees if we hold Onam tokens. 50% off is quite good deal. What are the other benefits for holding Onam tokens

50% saving on transaction fees is good offer,  but is there any limit or minimum number of tokens requirement to avail this benefit?

In beginning, every exchange will do some promotional activities in order to attract the traders. After some time they will reduce all the fee and start charging higher amounts for trading, we have to find whether exchange has capability talking measures for security in order to protect their customers.

If it is on the fees that would make sense. I mean they are already charging low fee add the 50% that would be attractive to most who are changing between the common coins. I see their initial list covers most major currencies if not all. The better part is being compliant let us not forget that.

Amazing to see that they are working on their Tachainflame gadget according to their tweet: https://twitter.com/tachain6/status/1053255678507339776, is it possible to see the how the progress is going?

Thanks for the link, that sounds interesting, of course. I have looked at their other tweets, there is often talk of "potential partner xy".
I wonder if there really are negotiations, or if they are purely hypothetical

Honestly and from my own personal view see that it is best if they start with the app first then move to the gadget. The gadget is likely to slow the apps progression given there is no traction. I think that they can start generating traction and then push the gadget when there is a userbase.

I don't think there is any harm in extending the crowdsale, the roadmap remains the same so it is lucky there was some breathing space between end of ICO and start of operations. How is the project doing so far in relation to the soft and hard caps?

They have sold approximately 8 million Securix Tokens. The softcap was reached a few weeks ago. One of the founders is in Canada for some meetups. I hope he will find some new investors.

first of all, i would like to say a very big congratulations to them for that wonderful achievement and i expect they work to secure great partnership from any event they attend because partnership is essentials to cryptocurrency startup with good partnership comes investors who have seen reasons to invest in the project

Wait who is in Canada? I know Jacobus is in the US and precisely was in Boston few days back. I did not know Canada was on the map until now. Are you sure it is Canada not the US?

Hat sich schon jemand diese Seite angesehen?
https://www.remittancetoken.io/StatisticsAndMarketcap.aspx

there are some impressive numbers, so if that happens, we all hopefully bought enough tokens

Yeah, it sounds good, but the market is super difficult to predict at the moment, but I really like that they used so many different models to reach projected values. It would be amazing if REMCO tokens ever reached those values.

I tried to go through the stats and I have to say I am a bit lost with all the jargons in there as I am no finance guy. What is the fair value tab mean? in there ETH is like 0.
473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Natmin Pure Escrow - Escrow Services powered by Blockchain Technology on: October 22, 2018, 04:13:04 AM

Guy's, I thought they are allowing only from Bitmart but I seen today on their website one more website "tokenjar". See the below link.

https://tokenjar.io/NAT

Yes, it has been discussed before. Two exchanges on which Natmin sells the tokens themselves. Unfortunately, I do not see any trading volume on TokenJar

Natmin sell tokens on two exchanges during the ICO, that's quite unusual. How can we track how many tokens were sold? What is the maximum supply of Natmin tokens?

It is an ERC20 token you can easily track the overall number it if you have the contract address. You will be able to see what left the wallet and what remains; if you have the exchanges address you can track the outs i guess?
474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]REMCO : Worlds First Distributed Platform for Money Transfer on: October 21, 2018, 06:12:12 PM
Currently pre ICO crowd sale is going on with 35% bonus that is huge for me. Even accepting 3 Crypto currencies for payment. But just want to know that, what is the minimum investment for this running sale?
The more bonus - the more then the price will fall on the exchange. I noticed this a long time ago. Especially if the bonus is more than 50%.

Currently pre-sale is going on and in such cases 35% bonus is okay.  Considering these investors will not be dumping the tokens after listings.  It's small investor or bounty hunter normally do the dumping.

dumping is usually done by bounty hunters and it affects the value of the token but i want to believe the team are having some measures to checkmate things like that

Bounty is important part of marketing and project have to spend money on that.  But agree,  % of the total tokens should be very limited for bounty.
Yeah, that's true. Because of this reason I guess bounty hunters are getting their rewards late from the admins.

It's actually private investors who need to hold tokens for 1-2 years, depending on the condition which setup by project.

For private investors a vesting period is common. So that they in fact get better bonuses but the same time commit to hold the tokens for a longer period and don't sell them as soon as they hit the exchanges.

Usually and based on my humble understanding private investors usually don't sell right after the ICO; they are in for the longer term. I am no expert but is vesting confirmed by the team for private investors?

I just checked out the tweet but the good thing that such will do is the addressing the issue of spam ads, sending targeted adverts is a thing that will differentiate tachain from the usual adverts that we see everyday on our gadgets, it can be annoying and individuals now download apps to take care of spam messages but is good that they intend to handle it

Targeted ads are specific for everyone. How do they plan to do that?
I guess they need user data for that. But it would be splendid if it works out. No one want to see ads that’s got nothing to offer her.

This tweet has Singapore airlines ad, so Tachain already got their first ad? Or it was just to show what Tachain is upto?

I think they just want to update us on what are they planning to do. And it's really great that they will really going to be on something good. Still waiting for more update on it.

I hope they release a post on how that works tachainflame. I am not sure how it will function given it is going to be a gadget. does it like show you ads or you connect it to some device? what is its deal?

I see they are progress is quite good, and the main reason behind  this could be Participations in Different Crypto events!
So may be new investor will make their way this time too!

They are now quite active in the US; I think Damian is on his way and Jacobus is on his way. They have a list of meetups they will be attending most of which are private so We should expect great things.

Do I need to go through KYC for participation?

Hey there. Yes, we require all crowdsale participants to go through KYC. Don’t worry though, we have made the process very simple. If you have any questions about KYC join us on telegram and we will walk you through it.

Am interested in the KYC procedure too. Can I get your telegram Community link?
I heard it’s interesting there.

KYC is important factor for any ICO. Good thing is that, Onam says they have made process simple.

Well I don't really like doing KYC but when it comes to this kind of project which is got my attention and I feel that it will really going to be good and legit then I will really doing it.

It is a must if you are dealing with Fiat or fiat is involved. They are using a third party btw so it should be quick.  I think the entity they are using is called ICOS ID. I know KYC is not really a favorable thing by many but for the business to be compliant they need to execute it.

What do you mean?
From my understanding they have been involved with WU it does not mean that they will end up using them. WU can be expensive but I think that is the point of going crypto you basically get rid of most costs.

Do you guys think the team will be able to spread to more markets beyond the initial areas fast I really hope they can grow to a solid number of countries

Well i do think they can if they actually get it right, the initial stage matters a lot and can either make or break the brand, the specific areas of their starting point has potentials, at least some from the Philippine attested to that when it comes to having commuters, so it's all about the team crucially planning out modalities that can sell them a lot faster

It is quite possible. especially for their type of business. they can have a hybrid approach. So since they focus on ads. there are many international brands that advertise the same product in different countries. I think this idea is quite scalable and quick one to scale too.
480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 [ANN] SECURIX.IO - THE SAFEST TOKEN IN MINING 🔥🔥🔥 on: October 21, 2018, 06:25:54 AM
The thing is an email list especial a solid optin email list is super important and can be very valuable for the project that kind of direct contact with like minded people who are interested in crypto is super good to have

well i agree with you but you have to understand that it is not everybody that likes it when they are directly contacted through their email or something it would be far more better if the email market is done with the knowledge of the intended person, the investor should be the one who requests for further action through the email not the team's decision.

In the business world it is actually quite effective. For investors it is really effective. Talking about my personal view it makes a lot of difference for me to hear from the team via email; I would like to stay up to date with where my money is.
