Not everyone will use crypto currencies for buying products. im pretty sure that they said that it'll only ever be available in Vanig tokens at the start, which is what will bring in the constant demand for the tokens in the long run. That is a very smart move i think Vanig team has also thought about that and that is why they decided to start wit Vanig Tokens, but can we expect fiat payment in the future? I am not sure how will they tackle to volatility of the token since usually supplier need a stable currency to be able to trade. For example the supplier is selling a dress for 100 Vanig tokens that say equates to $100. The cost of the dress (cloth, sewing..etc) is say $80. the supplier sells and 10 days later someone pays the 100 Vanig tokens and now the 100 Vanig tokens equate to $70 due to some drop or bear effect on the market. The supplier is at loss now. That's why I think they should introduce another token, and run a two token approach. Token 1 can be used for purchases on the platform, and it will be pegged to a value in local fiat currency. Token 2 will be the ones that are currently being sold in the ICO, their purpose will be a store of wealth that can be traded and used on exchanges. Investors could convert Token 2 to Token 1 to use on the platform at a reduced discount compared to buying in with fiat. I know it complicates matters, but it's true what Ibininja said, the markets fluctuating could put a traditional business in debt if the markets were bearish for a long period of time. I agree. Token price fluctuations will cause lot of issues if someone wants to buy products from Vanig platform. I think someone can check with Vanig team, during next AMA session I have been thinking about it and I think the approach Cryptossi proposed could work they could use Tether or something similar; I would also like to add another proposition as well. what if they price is fiat but paid in Vanig? Under the hood it get changed immediately to Vanig tokens. this minimizes volatility but does not eliminate it. |

This isn't just a P2P lending platform, P2P is normally between two random people.
Lendsbay are targeting individuals that lend money to their family and friends. Normally when you lend some money to a friend it's a casual act, you hand them the money and they owe you it back at some point.
What we don't think about is there are people that lend thousands to their family members and friends, by adding Lendsbay into the equation it makes the whole process more secure and ensures that the lender (parent/friend/relative) gets their loan back by the end of a specified time period.
There is quite a big market for this, but I just wonder if it makes the whole process too formal!? For example if your borrowed some money from your mum/dad will they really be that bothered about chasing you up for the money? And are they going to download an app and go through the whole sign up/KYC process to lend you the cash?
I see both sides of the argument, it's got a lot of potential, excited to see how the project performs in the future.
That is a great a summary; Don't forget the decentralization and the blockchain too. Overall i think the KYC is a must to be able to move money around otherwise if they are not going to store money I don't think KYC is of much importance though. |

great article, I am a fan of AI I believe there is more to AI that just cleaning bot or killer bot it can be a force for positive change if it is created and used positively. AI can do lot of things. I have seen news about robots performing surgery as well. It's in still early stage, but in future we can see these bots performing critical surgeries as well. I think doctors will always be needed if not intellectual input psychological input. AI will surely help doctors massively and inherently the overall health sector. health sector is one of those fields that is constantly progressing fast. |

Today the price is up more than 30% a good sight especially for this project, seems promo on COSS exchange make the price up, hopefully after the distribution of prizes the price is not down too far.
I think price going up because soon Eva-Energy and one more partners going to use BWT for bill payment. And BWT listing at Houbi exchange will happen soon. Yeah there have been lots of recent activities from Bittwatt in the last few weeks to an extent I'm not really surprise at the price increase they should keep up with their engagements. It's amazing how social media engagements can have such a huge impact on the price. I have been looking at the roadmap this morning and it looks like Lendsbay will get a lot done in July. Firstly they will be releasing the beta app for Android/iOS. Then they will develop the legal component and establish the ratings and pricing a mechanism.
It’s a lot to get done, but if they do it all next month then they will be off to a flying start. I have seen a lot of other projects that are trying to do something similar with bringing credit risk to the Blockchain, but these guys look like the real deal, they are putting a lot of emphasis on the legal side of the business and on the underwriting.
It’s a very regulated business and I’m glad to see Lendsbay are taking this seriously with the legal work they are doing. Also the founder/COO Andrey Cheremkhin is a legal professional that has worked in the industry for over 10 years, he will be invaluable to the teams everyday operations.
It's a lot to get done in a short space of time but we don't now how much the team have already done in the background. I'm looking forward to July and seeing the beta yeah, July is when we are all waiting for but I believe they have done so much we probably might not know time will eventually make everything clear Looks like we will be looking at great things. Man can’t believe I squandered my time I so think I could have placed high if I had taken the time to do it but I was busy with family stuff and missed it unfortunately Missed it also, procrastination is bad  even though I read about it often on this thread anyway I find solace in the token I purchased. Likewise, I totally forgot this trading competition was on.. That might explain why the price has shot up in the past few hours? People pulling their low sells as they know people will buy to win the trade competition haha Yeah, I think this might be the case here, people got smart and are setting new high sell orders lol... Did they announce anything about the exchanges ? I think that most of us want at least 1 exchange who is in the top 10 best exchanges. This will give us a safe feeling.
I looked it up on their website and they say they plan to list on several exchanges but we get more information about it after the ICO. They should try to list on big exchange it gonna be a big boost to them most especially now that the market is falling When you list on big exchanges you will surely attract users, because being listed on it is very hard or very expensive, but in the long term you will gain. How about listing and not getting the right volume  I would go for operating smoothly over "big exchange" It's a good step listing in big exchange but it would be better to stay operational too IMO Agreed; I think operations and delivering actual value would ultimately lead to higher volume. it is always shady with exchanges and volume; listing would not guarantee higher volume. |

Thanks for the update. July will be here soon, and I'm really looking forward to the beta. And then it will not be long before we can use the platform. I have some money to lend :-) I am actually looking forwards to the mobile app. I think having focused on mobile would make sharing a lot easier. since with loans if you think about it it is basically sharing in its core with a given condition. Also having legal expertise is a huge plus in such projects. |

Yes, they constantly update their social channels, which to me gives this project a superior edge, not to mention conferences and seminars that they have been attending and upcoming ones too, so they are really relentless in their drive to make this project a success, we can also feel the impact of this awareness in their community IoT Chain is really active in all their social media channels. They attending to conferences, have several Project meetings and report regularly updates. I'm very bullish for ITC. It’s good to see this because it means the team is excited about their project and is trying to get as much of the community envolved as possible. This kind of outreach is hugely important The team understands that community backing is important abd getting more community members to stand behind the project will drive the project forward especially in the IoT world. I think for such projects the larger the community backing the idea the higher the potential. While reading whitepaper I found something interesting like they will provide unique videos library, medical content which is very usable for their patients, doctors and therapist for treatment purposes and trainings.
That is very good, will certainly help individuals - students / trainee doctors to train up and for quick, easy to access medical content So this video library will have patient's medical history, treatment/case paper, investigation reports etc ? Are they going to store video chat data as well? That would be great to have; I am starting to see a pattern; the videos are quite effective in the sites like babycenter (centralized baby health site) they are quite extensive with videos I am sure they are quite effective too. this is a great move I am looking forwards to see if they are adopting their own platform or using youtube for it. |

It's actually crazy that there is only 5 days of the token sale left, I have been following the Bitfence project for a long time and I'm really looking forward to seeing how much they have raised. I think after the World Blockchain Forum speech they will have raised the majority of their funding. Yea, the moment is almost around the corner and i hope to see them make a positive impact when the MVP goes live, good reviews will really be a boost to the entire project, it has been a long journey, this project has been of interest to me because of the thing that they will help eradicate once they become fully operational, so it will be a good feeling to see them hit their mark Less than a week left for ICO end date and stingminer launch. From what i learnt the StingMiner will be economical with power consumption, looking at its build shows a lot of economics was put in place already same for power too From my understanding it's limited to one per public IP address, so you couldn't have 100 for one public IP. So if you use a proxy for external access etc, you might not be able to do so. And that's one intriguing thing about this project when it comes to the security measures that they intend to implement, the IP address per individual is really necessary, is a security project, so any loophole that will lead to a security breach need to be covered and i believe they got the best hands in the business to actually fix issues that may arise IP can be used a measure to combat mis use of the stingminer but I think there are more majors to base on the IP alone would not be effective since IP can easily be changed and played around with. |
