I don't think the fee should be destroyed. It would be a much better idea to pay it to Bitcoin miners or XCP holders. No? Maybe I don't understand it well enough.
But yeah 5 xcp seems a bit much.
Destroying the fee is paying it to XCP holders. "Lost coins only make everyone else’s coins worth slightly more. Think of it as a donation to everyone." PS: I'd say 1 XCP for new assets. I like round & prime numbers. I'm afraid to see a wave a spam issuances like COKE/CRACK/METH/DILDO/FRENCHGIRL coming from the same guy if you lower it too much... |

I don't know, but I wonder why the price of the stocks is falling so heavyly. There does not seem to be a real reason for that.
I think that's because there is some sort of boycott from DOGE community... and since it represents a big share of crypsty profits, that explains the drop in the dividends. |

All current binary downloads have a pre-seeded database to avoid the need to reparse everything. Still requires enabling the transaction index though (please see the instructions included). Thanks  Zathras Great ! I was worry to overwrite the wallet.sdf file, so I left the old one, that explained how he was still trying to rebuild from scratch. Many thanks, will test the DEX right now ! edit : in the send tab, drop down menu, the same address is displayed multiple times (everytime an operation is done, it adds a clone to the list) edit : if I unlock my bitcoin wallet, masterchest still asks for my passphrase (it is independent I guess?) |

msc DEx solves BTC/MSC exchange nicely by having it only on the sell side, so msc price will only go up and up since nobody can dump it on DEx, much wow
Actually, they have the same problem as XCP, you can't escow BTC. Has anyone tried the msc DEX ? Beuse the masterchest wallet was a real PITA to install (60h to reparse the blockchain...) One might find counterprtyd a bit tedious to install, but Mastrchest was ten times worse. The only thing they're doing better is PR (a lot better actually), but I blieve that XCP tech will speak for itself one day. |

About the logo (/x/post from the counterparty forum / logo post)
I think it was initially designed by Jimshu and I have redone it in illustrator if someone want to take a look too (PM me for the file)
If there is an interest, I can do some rework on the current one on Saturday, with the same philosophy, makes some variations, and post the results.
BTW: counterwallet lastest images are looking awesome !!

Always funny to see people screaming how bad a deal is, when they're not invested (anymore). Usually, when I sell a stock, I stfu and gtfo, and I really don't care about the bagholders.
Shareholders are not stupid, they can do simple math calculations, and know the risks involved about the uncertainty of this stock.

Pas sur que ce soit une bonne idée de shorter XCP. Tu trouveras toujours des acheteurs en dessous de 0.006, mais peu de vendeurs car peu on acheté en dessous sauf ceux qui ont brulés.

Je t'en offre 0.0065 pour tout le lot (2.12 BTC en arrondissant) Le prix du marché évolue entre 0.0065 et 0.0075 mais c'est très peu liquide, donc meme via un échange centralisé (et les risques + fee que ca implique) tu auras tout juste ce prix là pour ce volume. Tu n'arrives pas à faire tourner counterpartyd que tu vends la clé ? |

As far as a distributing shares through a decentralized exchange method that is definitely something we will consider as soon as it is ready. We want to make sure we don't have any issues with a centralized exchange as we have all experienced and seen last year as well as the past few months. As soon as a tested platform is ready and there are no bugs or issues we will move over to that right away.
You should look into Counterparty /XCP that has already a decentralized exchange in place. Dividend distribution is working too. Except Counterparty has yet to setup BTC dividends, they can only be paid in XCP and I personally don't want XCP's for dividends. They plan on incorporating them in the future but its not a usable platform until that has been setup. Not anymore from Counterparty thread : It's cool because I don't trust cryptostocks + the fees are exaggerated on that platform. |
