Unclwish, have you tried to run hwinfo when running certain overclock usual for etash but using gss for other algos ? I had the same trouble that you are reporting, but i just make some little tweak because the gpu are clearly highlighted.

Hello Mr Nokia555. sorry , but I have to point it out that , it will be fair if you just explicit say on the first post, that 1 rig is free and the rest is 2 $ / Month/user(or rig)
Btw, nice software for people with reasonable size rigs, I have 4 rigs with 6x 1050 ti 4gb , and its not worth it

Zawawa, most of the stability issue I've got is that I used memory strap and overclock /undervolt already fine tuned for other miner and other algos. Then I start testing the limit with your software for neoscrypt algo, using HWINFO and looking for Gpu error and at least in term of stability all my problem are gone.
I keep spending 15 minutes a day trying to fine tune intensity etc, but then I switch back to regular setup and all is working until I will find a better combination.
I don't know how you can improve that. Teach the people how to find their own solution ? May be, but learning take time. And don't worry. As soon as ethereum will start moving to POS, what algos can AMD owner mine with profit ? Neoscrypt for sure, may be lira2

Rx 570 8gb Sapphire Nitro+ Dual mining ETH+DCR 29.8 mh/s + 600 mh/s with 130W @ wall.. I guess there is still some room for improvement about the Wattage right? I have just finish fine tuning some rx 570 4gb Elpida: eth+pasl 29.8 + 250 with GPU Z 105 W and some RX 580 8gb Micron eth+pasl 31.5 + 250 mh with GPUZ giving 100 W straps from anorek with some cut & paste because electricity here doesnt come cheap Just for your reference

zawawa, please comment on For some of you who are getting low hast rates, I would suggest experimenting threads, Intensity, and Worksize. I have an older card I have been experimenting with. I have noticed a different versions of GGS with have different hashrate with the same settings, but changing the setting I can still maximize the hashrate. AMD 17.12.2 GGS 1.2.12 alpha Nicehash Neoscrypt T = 1 I = 64 WorkSize = 64 Mem: 346/2048 160 KH/s T = 1 I = 64 WorkSize = 128 Mem: 471/2048 220 KH/s T = 1 I = 70 WorkSize = 128 Mem: 530/2048 232 KH/s T = 1 I = 84 WorkSize = 128 Mem: 586/2048 292 KH/s T = 1 I = 112 WorkSize = 128 Mem: 697/2048 294 KH/s T = 1 I = 224 WorkSize = 128 Mem: 1147/2048 296 KH/s T = 1 I = 224 WorkSize = 192 Mem: 1596/2048 230 KH/s T = 1 I = 224 WorkSize = 254 Mem: 1664/2048 104 KH/s
So far the best results (for my card) follow a pattern: 1. A single thread 2. Intensity in multiples of twice the compute units 3. Intensity set to use half of the video cards memory. This will smooth out the hashrate 4. WorkSize set to 128. you wrote the software, so you know how it really work. I can test various worksize /intensity setting, but a guidelines just to understand the direction, can be really useful

Hi, I have a mixed rig with 4 GTX 1070 and 4 Rx 580 currently mining with claymore dual
Its possible to have two mining software one for AMD and this one for NVDA, mining at the same time neoscrypt ?
Anyone have tried ?
|
|
|
Zawawa, if you really have the time for a new algo, where some real devfee can be made, think about equilhash, as there isn't a nice solution for AMD.
On the opposite, neoscrypt for linux can be a good choice
|
|
|
ok, I put a 7 rx580 rig with last version neoscrypt. Hope not to wake up tonight The speed is quite good, even if I have no idea of the setup of thread, intensity, gpu core and memory for that algo with your miner.... sticking with a mix of your value and the result of some some other algos...
|
|
|
I have copied the log. Well, the part that I thought to be interesting... but i don't think I found much
A couple of thing from someone that last thing I have programmed was a text only adventure....
Please create a log / session or a log/day in order to make life easier to retrieve it
The one minute hashrate report just add garbage, its interesting for testing, but real life a 10 minutes is fine.
I noticed you have created one devfee wallet / algo, good choice it will easy the switch

Zawawa, the new version is better but not good either. The hashrate went down in 4 hour from 1970 to 790 for the small 3 rx570 rig.
I have to deal with a motherboard problem with another rig, and then I will estract something from the log and send to you

I was waiting for the neoscrypt patch.... Installed, the double graph is nice.
still chasing about the 24000 mb even if I set minimum 24000 max 32000
I will tell you in 1h.17 minutes how it goes, as the previous version was unstable after that time mining.
If I will not be in bed..
I forgot: when there is an incorrect shares, with the GPU listed at 3 or 4 position, the highlighted colour is almost the same as the background color, so I can't read

OK, I read it all... and I just understood 10 %.
A couple of things, as its late and I'm tired:
Zawawa, isn't that you speak italian ? As I saw something form some users
is Devfee income is now substainable from your side ? I really hope so
From a small old noob miner perspective an open source with Dev fee is ok. I may have an idea that clean the air , but not now as its late.
So far: 3 x mining Rig 7 RX 580 4gb Dual Mining with CM, Cryptonight with GGS, need to decide on Neoscrypt as its unstable 1 x Mining Rig 6 1050 Ti 4 GB Equihash waiting for your NVDA version 1 x mining rig 4 Rx 580 8gb + 4 x 1070 ti Dual with CM waiting for your Equilhash for the AMD part 1 x Mining rig 6 x 1070 ti Equihash waiting for your NVDA & Equihash 1x 4 Mining rig 4 RX 570 itx waiting Gss Neoscrypt to be stable
So, please speed up on NVDA & Equihash as I don't want to have too many miners, as its a mess to tape all the strips
'nite & thanks for the passion

A couple of things: Its not clear if its still possible to join the airdrop now or not.
If yes, how ?
The discord channel may be need to be in two language, but not mixed. There is a lot of talk in (russian ?) cirillic, that I can't even see.
last
Mining at arcpool is a little a mess with a lot of immature that get cleared/deleted, but Gateless Miner is working fine

It doesn't seem chicken / egg as my 2cents
The volume of a coin, as far as I understood, is , at the end, linked to the use of that coin. So, each blockchain , good or bad, compete with the others in order to move from the virtual world to the real one. There are plenty of blockchain and plenty of coins. Best coins are the ones in which the volume is steadily growing. That mean that development team know where to sell their tecnologies may be I read it wrong , but low trading volume is worst than price dropping
