461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Ann]Vote New coins on Bter.com - Which new coin should Bter add in next week? on: March 18, 2014, 05:29:08 AM
Please include FAIR (Faircoin). It's basically the same as C2, same specs, but with a fairer distribution process.

http://www.fair-coin.info
462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Faircoin - The First Fairly Distributed COIN , new EXCHANGE on: March 18, 2014, 05:23:21 AM
the pump is on on nxt-e  Cool

That's not a pump. People aren't willing to sell their FAIR, so the bid gets higher...

E.G. If I held 1000 FAC, I would wait until I could sell them for 0.01BTC. Why sell for less? It's free money anyway.

Just be patient and you'll be rewarded.

I should have put "pump" in inverted commas... lol... it's a little fart cloud climb...

Tongue

If FAIR is anything like C2 (they have the same specs!, 50M coins, 50K to the first 1000 address) then 375 satoshi is nothing.

C2 peaked at 1000+ satoshi and still holds very steadily at 690+ satoshi. It's only on 4 exchanges as well (BTer, BTCCC, NXT-E, Bittrex).

FAIR dev is chinese and has a promotion team, so without a doubt we'll get there eventually.

FAIR was also 'fairer' than C2 in its distribution (1K/stake vs 50K/person)
463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Faircoin - The First Fairly Distributed COIN , new EXCHANGE on: March 18, 2014, 05:10:17 AM
Looking at the blockchain, I think we're very, very close to the end of distribution. Anyone can confirm?

I'm in the process of contacting more exchanges. Make sure you don't dump your FAC before then.

I have received all but the token i summited just before it ended... so were maybe in the last hour of tokens to be distributed

Great to hear! So we're officially near the end of the distribution phase (< 1 hour left). I think we'll see more activity in this thread once people see the coins in their wallet

Also not much volume on Nxt-e. Sell walls are very slim. Looks like we've got a bunch of strong hands

467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarketCap.com - Market Cap Rankings of All Cryptocurrencies! on: March 18, 2014, 04:43:56 AM
Please consider adding Faircoin in the future! It's not on any major exchange, yet, but has lots of potential. I'll be updating this post with more info once we'll be ready
468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Faircoin - The First Fairly Distributed COIN , new EXCHANGE on: March 18, 2014, 03:52:46 AM
Request sent to https://www.icurrex.com to add FAC

It's already on there, lol. Make sure to vote for FAIR at https://www.icurrex.com

@y3804

what about https://mcxnow.com/

it is a nice exchange.

They'll never accept FAIR. RealSolid won't even add DOGE. lol. They only accept extremely well established coins

edit: Updated the list.

MaxCoin , established coin?
Common , let's be serious.

Coins with good fundamentals, trust, not pump and dump schemes. e.g. WDC, DVC, PPC, etc..

For every FAC fanboy out there:

I won't have time tonight, but if you're a good english writer, please contact the exchanges I listed as well. Show your support!

are you sure for the 133 bytes?

I checked the blockchain explorer. Tell him it should be the same as litecoin. It's a scrypt fork..

Or link him the block explorer and ask him to check himself
473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Faircoin - The First Fairly Distributed COIN , new EXCHANGE on: March 17, 2014, 07:02:19 AM

Hi,

For us to add your coin, we need the following information:
1) Is your coin listed on other exchanges today?
2) Does our wallet have a github and where is it located?
3) What is your network transaction fee?
4) What is your minimum transaction size?
5) Do you have a preferred day for us to add your coin?

Thanks!

I have no idea how to get this infos 2-3-4

1- Nxt-e
2- https://github.com/visbtc/fair-coin
3- 0.00001
4- 133 bytes?
5- TONIGHT BITCHES (asap)

Tell him you're not the dev but you're helping the community.

looks like payments have indeed resumed.
..moving blocks for the network again @ fair.poolest.com

fair : fF3rud5d5DP66DqSp4hRzTDgqjt4LufvLn

Someone donate to this guy.

About PMtoCoins: I went to their IRC to get a manual withdrawal. pretty quick service if you ask them on freenode
475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Faircoin - The First Fairly Distributed COIN , new EXCHANGE on: March 17, 2014, 03:16:54 AM
My first 15000 FAC deposit to pmtocoins are EATEN!!!
Where's the quick support and TOP seurityHuh
Sure that they have bugs and lost some coins!!!!
Watch out!!!

I don't trust PMtoCoins. The UI is nice, but the backend is really lacking. Don't trade there until they fix their deposit/withdrawal issues. Security problems

Also I believe we need to tip Poloniex some BTC for faster integration..

Other exchanges to consider: allcoin, cryptoaltex (these guys will accept FAIR in no time)

Still missing.

Wrong fork. Delete your blockchain data. Rescan your wallet (add -rescan parameter to wallet shortcut). You shouldnt have any lost coins. You've never sent them actually

Dev is a genius. Creates coin, premines 0.5% (to be fair), calls coin dead and corrupt, everyone dumps on him at 100 satoshi (so he can buy his own coin at a cheap price), resurrects coin, now he's a rich motherfkca

If that happenned then those dumpers gotta deal with this.

I just hope this coin can hit as high as spaincoin and stabilize at around 1$

That's no problem. Now that he owns 5% of the coin, he'll pump the thing to neptune

I wonder how many dumped for such a low price?

I didn't think it was worth dumping at such a low price, it didn't cost me anything so I thought i'd hold and see what would happen.

It would be pretty sharp if the corrupted wallet was an elaborate hoax to get people to dump?

at least 500K FAC IIRC. A lot of 50K sell orders, lots of them

This is my official apology to the DEV.

I am really really sorry I trolled this thread and told you to kill yourself, I understand that mistakes can and do happen, but that doesn't make it expectable for what I said, again I am sorry.

Leigh.

Let's all do a suicide run to the moon

LOL

This coin is getting raped by GPUs now, that is why price is falling.

Right now I'm raping it with 3x290s and dumping everything as fast as I can before the binary is released and value goes into the toilet.

Good job. Rape it for me

I strongly believe there are GPU miners out there, but not releasing their miners publicly until they have made some money out of this. There has been too much dumping
