SCAM ALERT

It is to notify everyone that "Yearn finance red" have stolen website contents from another website called "Yearn finance connect". Someone have already opened a scam accusation against this project.

Take a look here, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5281828.0
462  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] Yearn.Finance Red - Stolen Content on: October 13, 2020, 04:36:09 PM
This guys are using the same template like "Yearn Finance Connect". Just changed the numbers of total token supply and presale date otherwise everything is almost same. Another shaddy project who have copied 99% contents from "YFC". "OP" you did the right thing by giving a reply on their ANN but maybe forgot to add your thread link there.

Anyway, i am gonna make a complete reply there to warn bitcointalk community users about this project. Please provide domain information in a correct format because your provided images are too blur.
463  Economy / Reputation / Re: How Get-Paid.com can promote the faucets which contains 100% scam ads? on: October 13, 2020, 04:15:56 PM
Since no one mentioned it, people should realize that Get-Paid.com uses A-ADS (alternative google Ads), so Get-Paid.com have no control what kind of ads is seen by it's users.

If someone decide to blame Get-Paid.com, they should blame A-ADS, google ads and all advertising service as well for showing scam ad.
A-ADS have their official announcement on bitcointalk.
Here it is; https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=140822

I have already sent a PM to them and let's see what explanation they got for us.

Most likely, there are many kinds of shady ads that isn't part of filter such as shady exchange, cryptocurrency wallet and mixers.
From my experience i can tell that 2 years earlier it wasn’t  so easy to pass the filter process of google adwords but i am not sure about recent situation. Recently i have seen some scam giveaway and fake airdrop related video ads on youtube and it seems to me that scammers are easily getting approval for their ads.

464  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: YOBIT VIRTUAL MINING SCAM: another day another scam - Yobit just do not stop on: October 13, 2020, 04:02:47 PM
If i am not wrong then they are the only platform who send highest number of emails to their registered users and most of the email contain selfmade (useless) investment ideas. After not getting enough responses from IEO advertisements through users emails now they have imported another idea which is blended with cryptotalk this time. Personally i think talking about yobit is nothing but a waste of time and thats the reason i am completely  ignoring all yobit related things (Email, media news, Social media, Cryptotalk).

Thanks Jollygood for bringing our attention on their recent activity and i wish forum newbies be aware about it.

Note: Unsubscribe from yobit email notification is the best solution for us.
465  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Scam]: Fake BTC giveaway by Chamath Palihapitiya on: October 13, 2020, 02:28:20 PM
Could be a victim also of the scam. But sometime these guys are tricky they are sending their own other wallet funds to this scam address to make it seen that some users are actually depositing and lure others.

This isnt a new trick. Ive even have some reports before that is exactly the same trick with these guys. What worse is they are using legit people and companies for their scam actitvity. Damn those leeching scammers.
You can call this a common trick by which they try to attract new crypto users. Basically who are comparatively new in the crypto world they have less knowledge about fake transactions and after seeing a long list of transaction they start to think that its a trusted platform and providing good profits to depositors. Although it doesn't work for experienced guys because they know that adding section of fake transaction list is nothing new and most scammers keep it exactly same like they got from the 50$ template.

Giveaway related scammers always misuse the popularity of established project, person and companies too. Actually they target the existing users of a specific community who are currently using that a specific token. Even IMO they have less interest about new peoples who don't have proper knowledge about that specific token.
466  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Forget about exchanger search! Use BestChange! on: October 13, 2020, 02:14:29 PM
I always thought you guys take a fee to list an exchanger into your platform. My question is how do you guys generate revenue then? For a platform that has been around for slightly over 13 years, there surely should be away if surviving through the years  Wink
Every platform have their own secrets and BestChange isn't different from others here. Its pretty much clear to us that they are getting good ROI and have wide range of potential users. They have already mentioned that Affiliate is their main field by which they are generating revenues for their platform. You may have seen many crypto oriented platforms who usually donot run advertising campaigns or have no visible marketing activities but they have large community with massive amount of registered users. So, we have to get agree on that they have their own way of continuing business.

we take the matter seriously and analyze various factors to make sure the exchanger is reliable, popular and trustworthy.

Its the most important thing and if i am not wrong then due to this reason your regular users love to use your service without any hesitation. Whenever your platform authority complete the filtering process without taking fees it means every exchange have to pass the scrutiny process to get listed. Just like other established and honest service provider you guys are doing good and hope people will not loose their money by choosing exchanges from BestChange.
467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 13, 2020, 01:36:40 PM
Russel didn't played well upto his level in this season yet, he need to fire up from the next matches to give enough strength to KKR's batting order. I didn't watched yesterday's match but it was really a great win for RCB and this took them to 5 wins and top 3 position for now.
Last KKR vs RCB match was completely one sided and KKR batting lineup delivered weak performance. From the beginning KKR is struggling with their opening batsman and in my personal opinion sending Sunil Narine as a opener isn't a wise decision for them. Atleast one of your opener have to play longer innings to put fightable total in the score board. Although KKR changed their openers yesterday but it didn't work so well for them.

I am more excited about today's match and particularly for CSK, can they be able to give a comeback this year? I guess we will find the answer for that by today itself.
Chennai Super Kings's IPL record is far brighter than any other team and usually they play with same players every year. Through this reason entire team mates have good understanding and everyone play as a whole team. Although this year still now their performance wasn't too good and MS Dhoni isn't in good form. I hope if their middle order play good knocks then they will get back to their winning track again.

469  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: How to report the scammers to registrar on: October 12, 2020, 03:56:52 PM
Useful topic for newbies who don't know how to report scam projects domain to their domain providers. Its always better to stop scammers from the root and reporting domain with proper evidences is the right thing. If you can bring domain providers attention to scam projects domain then in most cases you don't need to waste your time by publishing separate scam accusation against them. Although keeping a record on bitcointalk help our community users to get information at a glance.

I will personally suggest you to put the report link on your thread whenever you create new accusation. It helps thread visitors to submit the report from their end.

470  Economy / Reputation / Re: How Get-Paid.com can promote the faucets which contains 100% scam ads? on: October 12, 2020, 03:23:15 PM
Thank you all who replied here to describe all things about how actually a faucet works. To be honest I was not much familiar with how a faucet works. And I also want to inform you that I did not lose any money into this obvious scam.
Then you are lucky enough and definitely your level of greediness is comparatively lower than immature investors which kept you far from useless investment. Sorry to say that they don't bother what people are talking about them. All they need is just some easy money and they don't care from where its coming actually. I don't think anyone can change their fraudulent activities where increasing awareness among newbies is the only visible solution.

Sometimes I saw some reputed members in this forum warn the gambling reviews site due to they reviewed some site which has open scam accusation here. So it likely the same I think. Both are not directly scammer but they are doing something so that scammer can do scam.
Accomplishing scam or helping scammers to continue their scam is likely same. Just the difference is scammers are taking fund directly from investors but dishonest advertiser platforms are taking money from scammers and allowing them to spread their scam trap among wide range of potential customers.

Btw since we can not report them to mod then do somethings so that newbies don't fall into this. So warn on these threads where you can see. Thanks again who replied here.Smiley
Just click the report button and let moderators handle from their end.
471  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: New type of scam attempt on: October 11, 2020, 05:56:28 PM
Few hours earlier i got similar one with different website  link. After not getting enough responses from emails now this idiots are targeting people through telegram. Huh...Interesting thing is that this type of PM start to come after joining new telegram groups and i am pretty much sure that they are sending massively to many telegram users.

Unfortunately due to lack of time i forgot to archive their money stealing website this time. I will suggest newbies not to waste their time after this kinda obvious scam trap.
472  Economy / Speculation / Re: My btc price calculation theory and future of btc on: October 11, 2020, 04:11:16 PM
Yes, I agree with you because recently most of the people and company are  believes that cryptocurrency . Thay want to profit more and more . recently Square Thursday it bought 4709 bitcoin, worth approximately $50 million. This is huge  movement to bitcoin. i hope bitcoin touch 14k on this year.
Every investor make their investment with the hope of profit and they are not different from others. This type of huge investment always put positive effect on market and more investors join the community with same hope. Already we are experiencing bitcoin price shaking after getting the news of 50 miilion investment on bitcoin.

If they spend 50mil they want at least double profit.
I don't think without ponzi platform owners no one can expect 2X profit just in a way you described. Will you please mention actually from where you are collecting this kinda prediction about bitcoin and creating post here or just trying to play with community users with your self made price predictions.

Just checked your trust page and i can tell that you are getting all inspiration from your ponzi promoting experience.
473  Economy / Reputation / Re: How Get-Paid.com can promote the faucets which contains 100% scam ads? on: October 11, 2020, 03:52:54 PM
Most crypto platforms are using multiple platforms banner space to attract potential customers, Every project have their specific advertisement budget and only few can bear the expense of advertiser like Coinzilla. Even professional advertisers never allow ponzi, MLM, Hyips and other money stealing platforms to use their service. So in a situation like this they are looking for other advertisers who have less restrictions or don't hesitate to allow scam projects to use their banner space. Basically future of this type of advertising sites totally depend on their site visitors and i am damn sure that by following a banner ad from their website if anyone get scammed he will definitely left the website forever.

Interesting part is that suppose advertiser platform is "XXX" and some group of scammers are running a platform named "YYY". "YYY" will use the service of advertiser platform "XXX" and in the meantime "XXX" is accepting their banner ads on their platform. So as a visitor whenever you are visiting "XXX" and clicking on a banner which redirecting you to "YYY". Whenever you are seeing greedy profit plans you are making investment there and after getting scammed you are opening scam accusation against "YYY".

So I have multiple question here;

  • Who is liable for the scam?
  • Who is creating opportunities for scam projects?
  • Who is allowing diverting crypto investors to scam hole?

From my above description I tried to let everyone know that "XXX" is setting up the scam plot and allowing scammers to advertise on their website. Which means they are not different from scammers but doing their activities in different style. You can't directly call them scammers because they have some wonderful rules about advertisement and you will find a common line on their Ad policy that " We are not liable for your losses, Invest at your own risk"

Now lets discuss about get-paid.com. They are promoting faucets who are allowing some rare Cheesy ads on their platform.

So do I have to explain again OP? Smiley or you have already got my point.

I have experience of using blockchain and coinbase API for some of my clients and they provide great service. As far as i know they only charge for transaction and they have no monthly charges for API users. Although I don't know they have added monthly charges now or not but their service is quite good.

475  Economy / Reputation / Re: So this is the feeling? on: October 11, 2020, 02:32:13 PM
Then I've tried reading its arguments in which some agrees to tag those that plagiarize in form of designing, then some just had let them be. Therefore I've answered with my pure explanation with regards to what is considered a plagiarism in design and what copied/inspired designs are considerable as another original design.[2] Suddenly, I was shocked that I've had both merits and positive feedback because of it. Thanks, jayce, for earning your respect. It means a lot to me.
Jayce is a professional designer and that's the reason why he easily got your point about design plagiarism. Personally I know him and he is really talented designer. I have completed multiple design works with him and discussed a lot about different kinda design works. Specially I can say that logo designing isn't a easy task where most designers follow pattern, style, Font and lot more things from other logo's. Its been a long time I am working  with many designer and got only few among them who have great skill in logo creation.

I though merit is the best thing to earn in this forum, but I am wrong. I may have lost the contest, but at least I've won a trust.
Getting merits is always a special thing for anyone but keep in mind that you will only get trust when you will win someone's heart. So in comparison with that losing a contest isn't a big thing.

Now to create a discussion with the reputation, what was the feeling the time you first earned someone trust in here? I'm pretty sure it's because of lending and loan why they've trusted you. But have you earned some out of someone's respect? If you do, how was the feeling?
You can easily get some positive trust by taking loans or using lending service but when someone give you that for your contribution or good works then its definitely gonna give special feelings to anyone.

  • Whenever you think you can help anyone by providing proper information's don't hesitate to make your reply

478  Economy / Reputation / Re: Coolcryptovator's telegram impersonator. on: October 10, 2020, 05:15:47 PM

My telegram username is: @Coolcryptovator
Scammer telegram is: @CooIcryptovator
Looking it same, but when you copy-paste to search it will show two different users. I have sent PM to the scammer. It's been requested everyone, before dealing with me via telegram just make sure you are talking with me by sending a forum PM. I have added this to the telegram bio. I will not be responsible if you aren't dealing with me via forum PM.
You have to get agree with me that the guy who have created this account with this username is quite talented. Usually people check difference like additional numbers or extra alphabet but its really hard to detect the difference when the difference is in for a specific alphabet. Honestly you can't stop these scammers who always looking for opportunities to complete their scam game.

Anyway, Thanks for letting us know about this and I don't think its gonna be a big issue for them who prefer to use forum PM rather than telegram. I will suggest you to add a line on your service management thread about this and hopefully that's gonna help thread visitors.
479  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Expose] Hourminer.com Money Doubler on: October 10, 2020, 04:48:44 PM
If I am not wrong a few days ago I saw a Ponzi scheme site named hourlyminer. And now I am seeing hourminer  Smiley. So it could be from the same owner. And maybe in the future, we maybe see minute miners, second miners, etc. Scammers are always making their trap smart to smarter day by day.
Yeah you got it exactly. Few days earlier a ponzi named "Hourlyminer" made their announcement on gambling section and interesting thing is that they have contacted me to run their signature campaign on bitcointalk. I told them that they are running a ponzi based platform which is nothing but a money stealing machine.

Here is their ANN; https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5267118.0

"tvplus006" have already opened a scam accusation against them and here it is; [SCAM] Hourlyminer.com - Ponzi scheme

This project is also using similar looking domain like hourlyminer and offering all unrealistic return plans to attract new crypto user who have limited knowledge about ponzi projects.

Let's see how moderators will react now

Meanwhile, there is free negative trust feedback for everyone who reply in his thread  Tongue
Let me add another name on the list who just made two posts in total and got the negative feedback by "intrader".

Although there is a similarity between intrader and the user XorZero and that is both of them woke up recently.
