461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Microstrategy Acquires 14,620 Bitcoin, Don't get carried away. on: December 29, 2023, 05:22:00 AM
They have been doing this for years now, against the advice of their competitor in the Fiat financial system, so I hope this pays off for their shareholders, so that they can silence their critics. 😋👌

They still have their "software" company, but "Bitcoin" has become their "core" focus now, so they are realy risking it all on Bitcoin.
Bitcoin has out performed all other financial investment options this year, so they are doing very good with their Bitcoin project.
462  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID is dead, "long live the new COVID". World economy get ready? on: December 28, 2023, 06:49:17 AM
This could just be an outbreak of a new flu virus and not a new strain of Covid, so let's just all calm down and see what the WHO has to say about this. We know that not all respiratory illnesses or severe acute respiratory infections are linked to Covid.

Covid infected everyone.... not just younger children, so let's be optimistic about this one, because we cannot afford to have another pandemic, with the global economy being in trouble already. 🤔😪
463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever heard about financing a gambler? on: December 28, 2023, 06:35:44 AM
In one of my things and my thoughts, I have always started to think about a scene like this, where one is very nice and someone sees the way to play and follows him, but of course that is something that I see as very fantastic, no. I think there is someone like that, but as has been said, it could be that there are some people who always like to share this because they like others to spend their money, you have to be a very millionaire person to do it, so in this order of things things can be quite strong, I might think that when it comes to things like that I always like to emphasize the fact that it can make a difference by taking considerations like:

1.-Friends who have a lot of money, I say friends, because they are the ones you already know and they know who you are, and the ones you can do and achieve.

2.- Be very lucky, find a stranger who would like to sponsor you.

Where I see that things are very possible is when it comes to gamers but not in the casino but in other types of games that in reality there is a large community, for Example on the PS5 and it is played online, where they know each Other and have a Great love for games because they are Capable of doing incredible things with this, however when I say about gamers it is because they must be very nice, in fact this makes me remember a movie that I recently saw, which is about this What a stupid thing to say, it's called: "Gran Turismo" and it's based on real events, and in the game of Gran Tourism, which I think we've all played at some point in our lives, I played it, but I didn't know that the game had technical aspects so good as to make it generate so much importance in reality, and a great simulation, for this reason it is said that in this way if it is easy to find a Sponsor , but the person has to be very good , in The casinos have to be someone who always has a lot of luck , which I find Difficult.

In the gambling industry... it is very difficult to prove that you are a good gambler. Yes, you get proffesional Poker players with exceptional skills and you get very good Sport gamblers, but most other games are not based on your skills, but more on luck.

You also get a lot of gambling addicts that will market themselves as proffesionals, but they simply try to scam people to feed their addiction.
464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Gambling Affiliate Program Problem on: December 28, 2023, 05:51:01 AM
Yea, it all depends on how early you joined the site, after it has been released. You will do very good if you join a site, just after it was launched, because many people will see your advertising for the site for the first time.

A lot of the older sites has been around for a long time and people have joined them already. I did very well with freebitco.in when it was launched and then the new signups dried up. A lot of other affiliate marketers also compete for the same target markets, so it makes things difficult. 🙄🤔
465  Economy / Gambling / Re: Welcome to 8ombard.com on: December 28, 2023, 05:41:53 AM
Welcome to bitcointalk platform. It is good seeing you here. I did a random check on your casino website and truly it is still under construction hence some features not readily available to peruse. I had to just go through the available and the terms and conditions seems alright but I was looking out for KYC because that aspect of customer service is very important.

I checked thoroughly and could not see anything that has to do with know your customer (KYC) is it that your casino is KYC free or what? I would want you to come clear the air with respect to KYC here because I am curious about it.

Hi CryptSafe, our website is constantly evolving, reflecting our commitment to continuous innovation at every stage of our business journey. Although it's a work in progress, rest assured that the site is fully functional, allowing you to effortlessly deposit cryptocurrency, enjoy our games, and withdraw your winnings. We're also thrilled to be launching a demo version shortly so stay tuned for this update.

Presently, getting started is hassle-free: no need for KYC documentation. Simply register an account using your email and password to dive into the experience. We're dedicated to ensuring a seamless and enjoyable journey for you on our platform.

There have been several complaints here. Gamblers who are members here encounter casinos that claim to be KYC-free at their initial start, and after a while, when they must have received a large number of deposits from gamblers, they update their terms of service secretly without contacting their members, and upon winning and withdrawing,  it dawns on them that the casino changed their policy without informing them. I am saying this because that has been the scenario for casinos and their clients here. When you say, "no need for KYC documentation", do you mean your casino is a KYC-free casino or you are not sure of yourself? I would advise you to confirm with the team before issuing a statement here, as whatever feedback you give here would be accepted by gamblers as the team directive since you are their representative.

As you may have seen throughout this thread we aim to keep all stakeholders informed. This includes answering questions and providing updates as much as possible.
Our platform does not require KYC documentation. We understand and have also been victims to secret updates to conditions on other platforms. Deceptive behavior is one thing we will not accept. This includes on our part. We understand the industry lacks transparency and can be dishonest. This is what stops small platforms like ours getting a chance to show the market what potential we have. I myself and the whole 8ombard team believe that this is your community as much as it is ours. We created this platform to be different from the others, in all aspects.

Well, I am happy with the fact that you are not strict on KYC requirements, but from my experiece... small sites start out without it and as soon as they received enough gamblers, they suddenly switch to a full KYC scenario... or basically when they come under the radar of the licensing authorities. 🙄

We have come to accept that this is the normal modus operandi with new casinos and just a marketing strategy to hook gamblers. I hope that your site can be the odd one out.... by not conforming to the norm.
466  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: are there any bitcoin faucets nowadays !! on: December 28, 2023, 05:26:49 AM
Faucets has gone out of fashion, since the days where advertising companies labelled faucet traffic as garbage. Just imagine your company paying for traffic that consist of people that does not have the buying power to afford your products or services. ( People pushing a button to get 10 Satoshi every hour)

The old favorite "freebitco.in" still has a faucet, because they are a ganbling site now ...but they pay very little.
467  Economy / Economics / Re: Will they ever be able to afford a house? on: December 27, 2023, 06:05:08 AM
I think one of the problems with the new generation are the influence of social media. They see the large and expensive houses of their favorite streamers and they think they can have the same, without starting at the bottom.

The way to get to the top, is to start from the bottom. You start with a single room..  sell that and buy something bigger... then sell that and buy something even bigger than that... until you can afford to buy that dream house. By that time your salary might have increased enough for you to afford the rates and taxes.  Cool Grin
468  Economy / Gambling / Re: PvP Games in Casinos | What's your thoughts? on: December 27, 2023, 05:57:15 AM
What PvP Games do Stake and BC.Game have?
You can see them below in the links. https://stakecommunity.com/topic/23423-player-vs-player-games-and-new-games-introduction/ the above link is for stake.com and this is from BC.Game https://bc.game/game/baccarat-multiplayer and you can make more explore or navigate around the casinos website see more. Or asked the support term to have more, remember not all the games will give you your satisfaction because some games are more interesting than the others. Have a nice day with your funds. Play safe and stay safe.

I think you are wrong about Stake having any PvP games, the link that you provided from the Stake forum... are simply a wish list from one of the players.

There are some games where the seed are shared, but the players are not competing against each other. Eddie have been hinting that PvP are coming to Stake, but it's been months and there are still nothing being implemented.
469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think that this is aperfect analogy of how gambling addiction starts? on: December 27, 2023, 05:48:49 AM
You only need to look at how slots are designed ... to understand how you are getting bamboozeled. I call it the "frog in the pot" scenario, where you slowly turn up the cooking temperature, so that the frog does not realize that he is being cooked.

Have you noticed how your money are drained over a long period, without you realy noticing it? You play.... lose a little, win a little ... but your balance slowly goes down over time... before you know it, it is all gone.. and you deposit again.
470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reports emerge suggesting Mt. Gox creditors are receiving repayments on: December 27, 2023, 05:32:33 AM
Well, I doubt that all coins were recovered, so they would most probably only receive a small percentage of their original coins that they have lost. Many of these people were very angry at the time and some still are... so they might opt out of receiving any bitcoins and will opt for the Fiat.

The Fiat had to come from the selling of some of the coins, so I reckon those sell orders has gone through already and it is priced into the current Bitcoin price.  Roll Eyes
471  Economy / Economics / Re: My view of wealth and assets specially now on: December 26, 2023, 10:17:24 AM
I think a lot of people have lost faith in their governments and they do not trust them anymore. They also do not trust Banks anymore... seeing that the Banking crisis exposed the greediness behind those corporate entities.

People will rather invest into something, where they have the control. You go out and buy physical Gold or Silver or you buy bitcoins, because you know it is not manipulated by a central government or central authority. (accept for the Gold syndicates or cartels)
472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It is you who can't stop betting. on: December 26, 2023, 10:11:15 AM
I think you are wrong..... Gambling are developed to reel you in slowly, until you are addicted. (If you are inclined to it) Just look at the mechanism behind slots, where it will give you small wins on a regular basis to keep you going for hours.

It will never just take your money on one continuous streak, because they know small boost of endorphins will have you searching for more and more of those chemicals.... so they just give you frequent small wins and slowly drain your balance over time.  Roll Eyes
473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lack of proper knowledge on casino games increases chance of loss and reduce fun on: December 26, 2023, 10:06:12 AM
Yea, I also play a demo game on many of the slots, before I dump a lot of money down the drain. I just like to see what payout lines it has and what extra features it gives.. apart from the FREE spins.

Some slots require four scatters to hit the FREE spins, so people will be disappointed if they hit 3 scatters and does not get the FREE spin feature. Roulette ARE very difficult, if you just drop blindly into it.... so use that Google and find some strategies, before you play it.  Wink
474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should mentally unstable people be allowed to gamble? on: December 26, 2023, 09:59:29 AM
How will CASINO employee be able to determine if a person is mentally challenged? They lack the qualifications to make such a determination, and should concentrate on doing the job that they were employed to do.. checking ID's and also making sure banned and self-excluded people do not enter the establishment.

I think I will be doing an experiment soon.... giving a homeless person $100 and sending him into a casino.. to see if they discriminate against certain people.  Wink
475  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - Drake, UFC, Everton, Alfa Romeo F1 Team on: December 26, 2023, 09:52:05 AM
So what a nice surprise to get two "Monthly" bonuses in one month! I reckon we will not see the January Monthly around the 15th of the month, like they usually pay them.  Roll Eyes

In any way, the Eddie stream was huge with $10 000 buys being done and double drops being done. The RTP will surely suck for the next 3 months to pay for all of that.  Roll Eyes Grin Grin Grin
476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Judge orders Craig Wright to pay over $1M on: December 24, 2023, 01:09:48 PM
~snip~
Well, Coinbase is doing the right thing about his coin.

After years of supporting that scammer, do you think we should applaud them for that move? They don't do it for some noble reason, but because obviously no one trades with that shitcoin anymore. All those CEX who listed that fork coin just showed that they are no better than whoever is behind it, and that's the whole truth.

Lucius, those idiots did not support Craig Wright when they allowed his shitcoin to be traded, they were simply riding a profit potential opportunity, because Craig Wright gave them free marketing with all the controversy surrounding his shitcoin and his claims of being Satoshi Nakamoto.

They also knew that his supporters will buy into the whole hype scenario and they will profit by supporting it. They entered Bitcoin to make a profit and they keep with that business model when they make decisions like that.  Tongue
477  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Succeeded in introducing Bitcoin to a friend on: December 24, 2023, 12:56:28 PM
It does not matter how many bitcoins you have and how many you showed him, what does matter is that you introduced this to him and that he decided to buy some bitcoins. It might strengthen or break your friendship, depending on how well Bitcoin perform.

You need to educate him on the correct reasons to buy bitcoins and not just to buy it to speculate. We want Bitcoin to succeed as a currency, so he should find ways to convert Fiat to Bitcoin and then to use it as a currency.  Wink
478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Features of the worldview of a gambler on: December 24, 2023, 11:24:47 AM
You get people who are addicted to something, but they have not admitted to themselves that they are addicted. Those types of people usually act as if it is something little and something that they can handle.

Just go to a alcohol anonymous meeting and ask the people there, they will tell you that all addiction work that way, until you admit that you have an addiction and when you reach out for help.  Tongue
479  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎰🎰🎰 Wagabet.com 🎰🎰🎰 unique cool games - 100% provably fair - wager bonuses on: December 24, 2023, 11:20:36 AM
This is from their Terms and conditions ==> " You are NOT a resident of a restricted jurisdictions such as: the United States and its territories, the United Kingdom, Australia, Aruba, Bonaire, Belize, China, Curaçao, Cyprus, Netherlands, France, Saba, Spain, St Martin or the Dutch West Indies, Ukraine or other countries in which laws and regulations forbid online gambling. "

I also see they only have a few games, so they are not offering something truly unique... like they promised. We really need some sites with player vs player experiences.. so if you are listening, try adding those types of games.  Wink
480  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the us dollar might crash significantly on: December 23, 2023, 12:06:33 PM
This action will just increase the tension between Russia and the West, because that money are mostly owned by rich Oligarchs. These people acquired that money, through their political connections.

The other side of the coin is this ==> That money could help Russia to buy more weapons and ammunition to fund the war against the Ukraine. (I would rather froze those accounts and seize the assets and then use that money to rebuild the Ukraine after the war)  Tongue
