my trezor is still using firmware from about a year ago and working just fine.
is there any REAL reason to update the firmware, or is it recommended to leave it be and avoid the risks and complications of backing-up/offloading the coins, formatting, then moving everything back on again?

whats your lowest price for the F*D bar sipped to toronto, Canada?

try ebay. you might want to get two sizes that are 1mm different or different brands, since sometimes they can be a tad too loose (coin can rattle) or a tad too tight (forcing the coin in can hurt the outer rim or simply crack the airtight)

yeah, looks more like a 66-67 IMO, but hard to say without looking in person and being able to tilt it at *just the right angle*. Either way, they dun fucked up with calling it a 2013 coin. Id demand a refund or regrading because of that issue and expect ANACS to stand behind their reputation to fix it.
looking at the photo, seems like theres a few *very small* defects in the striking (such as what appears to be a small nick/dent in the B, and rough strike on the 'Bitcoin' in specific) and the gilding isnt entirely within the lines. however, these issues are seen on the majority of casascius gilded coins, including many of my 2013 coins which have very similar barely-visible production-caused imperfections of the 'B' , so they may still be considered as "mint quality" despite the extremely minor overgilding.
best luck, im sure you can find someone willing to pay 19BTC and try to regrade it higher

would love to see some photos of the pages inside, and hear some quality reviews, since paperback books can come in a wide range between 'pages are falling out and poorly printed' to 'this will last decades of use and the inside printing is perfect'
if theres a second edition at a better price point, ill almost certainly buy a copy or two

how does the Sapphire Nitro compare with the ASUS Strix? They are both available for slightly less than $300 CAD and are about evenly specced. Based on looks alone, i would go with the strix. But hashrate and fan noise are also factors

interested in buying 1 offering $150 usd shipping toronto, ontario, sent you a pm as well
i have two units under hosting in montreal that i could get brought back to toronto. PM sent. ps: also some Sp30 and Sp31 units (2 have dignificantly reduced [stable] hashrates due to disabled-asics, and 3x SP31 work at 100%)

for some reason, if old dag files exist when i start ethash, it has 0H/s and tends to hang/crash the moment it gets new work from the pool
is there a reason for this? i considered adding a rule to the batchfile to delete all pre-existing DAGs at launch
The generation of the DAG file is a very slow process if you use a slow CPU. So it is better not to delete the DAG. takes <5 minutes per dag - not that bad assuming you plan to be mining for hours or days on end

just buy a trezor and use that. its safer, can be used without peeling a hologram, and can be password-protected as an extra layer of security
I don't trust Trezors 200-character brainwallet passphrases FTW! any particular reason? I keep the paper backup for the trezor seperately hidden away in case the hardware should fail, but its been great so far and i love the simplicity of loading or unloading BTC in under a minute (compared with something like using or printing a paper wallet)

Bumping.....I want to get these moved out ASAP.....throw me some offers!
I might be interested. What are the specs for S10's again? 1.4 TH/s @ 1kw right? they can run more efficienctly (and make less noise) at ~1TH/700W

You still building more rigs? How many GPUs are you up to?
Seems tempting buying more and more but the difficulty went up like 10% in 2 days. crazy at least price is up also.
Lol, enough to be quite happy. Yet not rich at all. Yeah Diff is going crazy high, when the price stop skyrocketing i think it will be all over (The crazy GPU rush). So its a gamble. Or maybe it will stabilize at something comparable to ASIC, profit-wise but less lossy (in term of mining equipment value deterioration)? I don't know. Either way Eth mining is a Temporary thing. still seems like a used gpu could return 50% of its value within 2 months. whether you can continue to make return beyond that, oe have to wait for another gpu coin to be pumped, thats still decent and you could likely resell the card for almost what you paid

Would you be able to make f-m-f combiner cable
I have some really good 15 awg 3 ft cables hooked into an Avalon 6 miner.
While the Avalon end seems decent the psu ends get hot.
I have some 20 jack break out boards for 2880 psu
So I need eight jacks to run two Avalon 6 miners
I rather use 16 jacks not 8
I can definitely have this produced at a price similar to the M-F-M cables listed on the first page, but theres pretty low demand for them (the 16awg cables are pretty reliable to 300W+) and it would need to be a custom order >100pcs, and with a 3-4 week delivery time.
