Newcastle united are doing very well this year. There's a 10-point gap with Arsenal. This should not be seen as a gap that cannot be closed. They are one of the teams with the fewest defeats and the most draws in the league. This means that no one can easily beat newcastle united. As such, they are a tough opponent both home and away. This week's opponent is not a very tough opponent, but it could be a problem. They have to win now to avoid relegation.

It has been an impressive season for Newcastle United, with Eddie Howe doing a massive job at the magpies and doing everything right to drag nufc into the champions league places in the coming season. With good amount of money spent; Newcastle United supporters are living the dream. Would they get top 4 come the end of the season? time would tell

From all indications, the next option for Manchester United would be Victor Osimhen. The board might be looking at Harry Kane considering his experience in the league and his profile as a striker. But Ten Hag would prefer a pure No. 9, which is a striker like Osimhen. Harry Kane often drops to the midfield line in order to aid in the build-up, with Osimhen more as a true number 9.

Considering how it works at old trafford, mufc will not get either Harry Kane or Victor Osimhen because Tottenham daniel levy has no interest in selling Kane within the english league, while Napoli boss is one that is difficult to negotiate or trade with. Will the glazers pay 150m for Victor Osimhen? i don't think so haha. In the summer, i hope Ten hag prioritizes the goalkeeping and midfield options in the club, then maybe find an affordable top striker besides this 2

Considering that Lewandowski is still absent in this match, it's only natural that the odds given by the dealer are @1.6. because after all, Barcelona is stronger in terms of the depth of its players. and it seems we agree, that in this match there will be minimal goals. I mean, Barcelona will narrowly win over Girona.

I do not think the odds are low because Barcelona Lewandowski is out of the tie; i think the odds are low because the tie is a derby game; and in such games, league form and player quality does not really matter because anything can happen. Would it be a narrow win for Barcelona or a draw? we will find out soon

Senegal will play against Qatar today. I predict they will win the match. But this win may not be enough for them to go to the next round. Because their direct rival in this group will be Ecuador.

Considering the first group game played in group A, i think Senegal has enough in their bags to get maximum points against Qatar today. I hope they play tactically and take their chances instead of relying on pace and power againts Qatar. Also, i think the group is still open as ECUADOR faces Netherland which could throw the group open. Important for senegal to get the win today

Now I'm curious about 2 things:

- Will Manchester United sign a new striker to fill his place and strengthen the team at the same time?
- What team will be candidate to sign Ronaldo?

This is the biggest questions as the january winter transfer windows draws nearer. Will Manchester united find a striker and buy one in january? will it be a young player,? or an agey striker for stop gap situation? Because without a cf, and martial injured; it wll be very difficult to score goals and get champions league football.

Meanwhile, i think ronaldo knows his next club, and just needs to wait until the worldcup is over

Portugal - Ghana was one of the most delightful matches in the World Cup so far. We watched a very competitive match despite the odds given by bookmakers.

It was a good interesting tie and it was nice to see Cristiano Ronaldo score. Also, the Sui celebration was used as well so it was double win for supporters both in the stadium as well as viewers at home. Now Portugal have to make sure they do enough to defend well ahead of their second group game. Bruno had a great game with 2 assists and i am so proud of him

There are reports that Cristiano Ronaldo is to leave Manchester United by mutual agreement, with immediate effect. Manchester United don’t deserve him. Yes it was mistake to say he can’t respect the coach publicly
but apart from that, everything he said were bitter truths. Its a good news for him. He deserved much better, benching him and playing him for a few minutes every now and then was disrespectful towards his Legendary career.

It was a good decision to cut of Cristiano Ronaldo off Manchester United; he has cast a bad aspersion on the team unity this season and it was just better to cut pff ties. It is reality that Manchester united play better football without Ronaldo; and now that he is off, i hope the mufc board backs Ten hag, get a new striker after the worldcup and we can enjoy our football again
473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 22, 2022, 07:18:59 PM

Well Argentina have started the first game in this World Cup quite badly. But I hope that in the next matches Argentina will not be careless and can win the match.

Argentina has been given a lifeline by the goalless draw between Mexico and Poland and the group is now wide open with hopes of qualifying to the next round high for all 4 teams.

for France Vs Australia match I will bet on France. and I hope this game doesn't bring another disappointment.  Cry

Its a bad start for injury ravaged french side, who are a goal down to Australia. With a poor midfield line up, I do not think france will be able to create many chances in this tie; what do you think ?
474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2022 Group Stage Highlights on: November 18, 2022, 09:48:33 AM

Portugal has been in crisis for a long time and is playing badly.
In the qualifiers for the World Cup, they lost at home to Serbia and took only second place in their group, so they had to play additional qualifiers.
Ronaldo also played in all those matches for Portugal, but he did not really help the Portuguese team.

I do not agree that Portugal has been in crisis; no not at all. Yes they struggled during the qualifying stages for the worldcup but you cannot compare that form to now. Why? Now Portugal is going to the worldcup with a complete 11 in view (compared to qualifiers where they chop and change tactics and players as related to available players due to either fatigue form or injuries).

In my opinion, portugal have a very solid defense; if they can take their chances, they will have a good run in the worldcup. Same with Argentina, france and the Netherlands
475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: November 17, 2022, 06:20:11 PM
Simeone is a great coach and i don't think that the problem problem of atleteco is in the coach, but the team need to find new players asap because the squad is really need fresh blood, simeone is one of the best coaches in the last 10 years in my opinion and i don't imagine atleteco without him

I disagree with this point haha; I think Simeone is the main problem of the Atletico side; the clubside has signed countless of top attackers and none of them is able to perform under Simeone as manager. his model of football is outdated and he needs to change his approach or be changed if Atletico Madrid wants to challenge again
476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is the host draw in the ceremony match? on: November 17, 2022, 06:17:23 PM

In the last 2 event world cup (2014 and 2018), the host (Russia and Brazil) was the winner in the opening ceremony match,
but in the world cup 2010 South Africa as the host draw the match.

When comparing the country with not much achievement in football, I think Qatar and South Africa have the same condition and situation. this is just my side calculation, we have to wait for the results after kick off, but There is no harm to tried it draw.

So, what's your guess?.

If we compare the antecedents of both teams in football; on paper Ecuador remains the better team amongst both team. With host Qatar; they have the home fans advantage and that could be a morale booster for them against Ecuador. I think it will be a straight win for Ecuador; and if qatar wants to stand a chance and get a draw; perhaps they can try stopping Ecuador talisman in Michael Estrada
477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 16, 2022, 07:52:04 PM
At the moment it is not possible to stop Napoli. Literally and figuratively. I don't know by heart how many players from that selection will go to the World Cup. Maybe from other countries too. It is an unpleasant moment for Napoli to start the winter break. We can also expect a lot from this team in the CL. It still amazes me that bookmakers still give Juventus such a chance to become champions in the Serie A.

I think from Italy; Juventus is one clubside that has the most players going to the worldcup; so once the league resumes again; they are comparatively at a disadvantage if consider fatigue, low morale and tiredness for players. Its going to be an hectic season; one where only the non tired legs can get anything out of it.

I really hope FC Bayern and Chuopo come to an agreement over a new contract. Chuopo is performing extremely well this season and deserves a decent salary. However, the club must of course also take his age into consideration. Maybe a 2 year contract with a €5m salary? What do you guys think?

I think he will get a year extension contract and that is what Bayern munich is offering Chuopo. This is perhaps why the contract talks are stalled for a while now. Bayern munich seem to be managing and offloading their ageing frontline; so issuing a 2 year contract would be way too much for the team. I still think a year extension is just as nice
479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 15, 2022, 11:41:11 AM
Despite not knowing what is going on, the news I read about Ronaldo and Manchester United today makes me happy. If Cristiano Ronaldo doesn't demand a payment for the remainder of his contract in January, Manchester United may terminate his contract. It is unlikely that Cristiano Ronaldo will be able to land a top European club, and he may have to lower his salary demands as well. However, another report indicates that if Ronaldo signs with PSG, they will benefit from t-shirt sales and sponsorship.

The case is quite difficult because we don't know what actually happened and who to believe. Ronaldo claims he has been disrespected by everyone at the clubside; yet his agent was busy offering him to every clubside in Europe in the summer transfer window. Now the clarity we need is this, Did Mendes offer Ronaldo to every clubside? or the transfer rumors' by Fabrizio and others were fabricated for clicks ?

In everything, Ronaldo is the wrong one here; you cannot speak ill of your owners while still on contract, i think thats the end of the road for cr7 at manchester united. Perhaps off to sporting lisbon ?

Newcastle are a great example of how an underdog can turn into a leader... I remember how awful they played last year, but after a change in management the result has been amazing... The opposite effect can be seen at Chelsea, where after a change in management and some summer transfers the top club is in the middle of the standings...

The reality is that Newcastle were no longer underdogs the moment they were purchased by that rich abu dhabi family. a clubside worth over $1bn is not an underdog. Newcastle United instead is a properly managed clubsides with good structures. The structure put in place has helped them to set up a good recruitment process that has aided them in buying top quality players without throwing their money around. if they manage to get European football this season; their progress metric would increase even more.

Newcastle United are well on course for a top 7 finish; Credits to Eddie Howe for the great job so far this season
