4621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN- Utopialand- Real life investment with real and tangible project in place. on: May 01, 2019, 01:26:45 PM
Hi,

Is there any affiliation between Utopialand and Palace Residence project? The content of the WhitePaper seems very similar to the latter.
Hi,

Our project is different, Chsung I don't know why there is this coincidence, but this is our passion and serious investment

You might want to check out the thread that I created earlier (link will be posted below) since your WhitePaper heavily plagiarized contents from different sources without providing any credit to the original users. I strongly advise to change your WhitePaper now and create something that is original, complete, and free from any shenanigans.

4622  Other / Meta / Re: Ideas for improving local boards? on: May 01, 2019, 01:11:01 PM
Taking our local board as an example (Philippines local board), the lack of a merit source heavily influences the number of threads being created by newbies. Every now and then, there are noteworthy threads/guides being created but some lose the will to contribute due to a lack of incentives given.

I am very much aware that merits should not be the focal point on why people contribute to the forum but having that incentive would most likely affect the overall activity of our local boards. This will give them the extra boost and motivation to go the extra mile in exploring all the possibilities of helping one another.

By taking positive reinforcement as an example, employees in a company that understand both mission and vision of the company, know their priorities, and continue to strive higher would more likely contribute to the company more (incentive follows!).

4623  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Sekretong Malupit sa Pag Convert to PHP sa Coins.ph! on: May 01, 2019, 12:24:16 PM
<snip...>

Maraming salamat dito bro at napakadami kang natulungan makatipid dahil dito!

4624  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Mining Still Viable? on: May 01, 2019, 11:52:21 AM
Is mining bitcoin still a viable venture to undertake in today’s world? We will explore that question in this article. But first, let’s explore the various ways in which you can mine Bitcoin.

By reading this article we are assuming that you are already familiar with the basic fundamentals of Bitcoin and Bitcoin mining. In this article, we’ll explore the actual hardware, software and technical aspects that are required in order to be profitable in Bitcoin mining...

https://www.bitcrypt.co/is-bitcoin-mining-still-viable/

It highly depends on your geographic location, availability of space, government regulations, and attitude towards mining. The high cost of energy to mine bitcoins can also affect your profit margins.  Before the popularity of bitcoin exploded, mining was very profitable due to a low number of competitors in the market but many have shifted and turned away from it.

The main focus of your income would be towards the incentives rewarded from transaction fees. If the price of bitcoin suddenly skyrockets, it has the potential to become valuable again.
4625  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: UTOPIALAND - Plagiarized WhitePaper on: May 01, 2019, 10:33:17 AM
The WhitePaper "Palace Residence" that you specified is also not the original source. I found the WhitePaper "Alt.Estate", ICO took place in early 2018. This WhitePaper was prepared on the basis of the report "Trends in International Real Estate Trade 2016": http://pdf.euro.savills.co.uk/global-research/around-the-world-in-dollars-and-cents-2016.pdf

https://alt.estate/upload/files/altestate_whitepaper.pdf

Thank you for spotting the original source from where they copied it from. I also noticed that most white papers also copied the content of the original source on various projects and ICOs.

THE PROJECT IS A SCAM!

UTOPIALAND heavily plagiarized its WhitePaper contents from Palace Residence WP and Swiss Real Coin ICO. Please do note that there are still plagiarized contents from Palace Residence WhitePaper but the arrangements were scattered. See the comparison below:

Comparison of UtopiaLand WP and Palace Residence WP (since they jumbled the format but has the same content):

4628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling - Eating your Brain and Money on: May 01, 2019, 02:51:16 AM
Gambling losing streak,

I’m into gambling for about months now, and in my first game I was able to generate profit enough to be happy, I continued for the rest of my 4 weeks of playing, sometimes its breakeven but I know its ok.

My friend invited me to play with him in casino this time, I have enough money to play for so I decided to say yes. Bad luck comes to me this time, at first my loss was about $500, so I know it is still fine and decided to continue, but the moment we stopped I think its too late now since I’ve already loss $3000, a very bad day for me. I’ve lost the money I’ve worked hard for.

This is an eye opener situation for me, and I’ve realized that gambling was slowly eating my brain and my money. Now I’m broke but still kickin, this can be the proof that chasing your losses is not good at all and it should be avoided. Have the same experience with me? Don’t hesitate to share and give some thoughts for those who are suffering from sitution like this.  Sad

What is important is you should know your limitations when you gamble, especially when you are on a winning/losing streak. Accumulating and losing profit will slowly hamper your decision making and may cause unfavorable results like what happened to you.

Knowing when to stop is the key factor in gambling. I know that it may be difficult especially when you are on the situation but only regret would follow afterwards.

Many people think that gambling is a way to make quick money, but that's not the case. When i started gambling, i was quite happy, as i won a few round and make some quick money, but as the time passed I just lost all my funds.

Gambling can indeed, give you a quick profit IF the odds are in your favour. If you try your luck and after a few games you realized that you are on a losing streak, trying to recover those losses will only make your situation worse. Set a limitation on your winnings/losings and make it a point to have discipline over yourself and temptations.

Hi,

Do you have a picture of the team and their profile links behind the current project? Also, if there is an available WhitePaper, kindly upload and integrate it on the website so we could verify the authenticity of the project.
The website serves as the main tool to sell your product to investors. It is essential that you supplement all the essential information to give them all the assurance.
4630  Economy / Economics / Re: Transferring of wealth from the impatient to the patient! on: April 30, 2019, 05:33:53 PM
if you want to be a future millionaire  and billionaire? then think on how important it is for you to keep holding and patient with the market and in 2 to 3 years to come if you will not be in money, this money always come from the impatient one.
Goodluck to you friend.

Results speak for themselves, I mean bitcoin has shown potentials of earning large amounts of income given that you know what you are doing. Most people that I know invested in bitcoin got their influence heavily from media, which portrayed bitcoin as a guaranteed investment. If you invest without knowing the background, technical analysis, and research, you may end up like 40-50% of the people who lost most of their investment last 2018.

Hodling will always bring out the best results in a market so volatile and prone to manipulation. Principles to reminder: Our tech is revolutionary and there's nothing out there that can compete with us.

I do not fully agree since it all depends on the situation and your investment plan for the term/quarter. If you focus on day trading, you can sell your coins regardless of the small profit margin.
4631  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin = Nerd money or not? on: April 29, 2019, 11:48:36 PM
<snip...>

To be honest, when you first explain bitcoin to someone it slightly sounds like some technical stuff that involves a computer, the internet, and some machinery stuff. They quickly perceive it as something that is for nerds due to the ongoing stigma against this type of line. Well regardless on what they say, I do not mind being called a 'nerd' or anything else on the same manner since what matters is I do not miss the opportunity to maximize its potential.

I think its just an impression that build up on peoples mind because most of the time they see us in front of out computers and they think we are just studying something or reading but its literally not, we are sitting on our computer while making money.

That is actually true but regardless on how they see us, they are missing out a huge opportunity. Quickly judging even without knowing the whole totality sounds like they are the ones who lack understanding.

4633  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Struggles of Student in crypto and a simple tips on it on: April 29, 2019, 07:14:40 PM

4634  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT HAVE WE DONE TO PROMOTE BITCOIN MASS ADOPTION? on: April 29, 2019, 04:48:12 PM
<snip...>

I mean, the technology speaks for itself- a revolutionary payment method which eliminates the need for a third-party user on transactions. It's like the reputation of bitcoin is bound to be famous but media played a significant factor on bitcoin's mass adoption and popularity. Unfortunately, it went both ways since bitcoin was portrayed as a medium for illegal acts (silk road and dark web) and as a revolutionary payment method.

Fortunately, the merits overwhelmingly outweighs all the negative effects of bitcoin, which quickly skyrocketed its price relatively faster than any investment. Since then, successful corporations and influencers have continuously bashed bitcoin as being a 'bubble' but it still remained dominant in the market despite all of which news circulated prejudicial to it.
4635  Other / Meta / Re: Cabalism13's Merit Source Application on: April 29, 2019, 06:21:56 AM
I'm with you on this one.

The local board of the Philippines has become more active as users begin to share tips, guides, and techniques in our respective community, well thanks to your contribution. In other words, you lit the fire that inspired more people to share their own expertise on each subject.

I am hoping that this merit application will be granted sometime in the near future for continuous help and support to all our kababayan!
4636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The ugly side of Bitcoin on: April 28, 2019, 10:36:08 PM
<snip...>

Mining consumes considerable amount of energy in producing bitcoin and its by-product is heat. Some claim that mining produces tons of energy while damaging the environment but there are ways in order to address this problem. People have already started implementing environmental procedures wherein they substitute processes which are relatively better for the environment.

Furthermore, global warming is a huge problem caused by multiple factors and not on mining alone. Although mining can contribute to the hazards, compared to factories which produce heavy tons of smoke everyday, the positive merit outweighs the negative outcome it brings.

4638  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Pagbibitcoin or Pagtratrabaho? on: April 27, 2019, 11:41:19 PM
<snip...>

Why not both? Participating in campaign signatures is relatively convenient compared to other part-time jobs. May mga ibang tao na fully employed pero they still have time to meet their obligations sa kanilang mga campaign signatures. In that way, you get to enjoy best of the both worlds while retaining your current job.

In my opinion, napaka laking benefit talaga ang nakukuha ng cryptocurrency at dapat hindi natin ito lagyan ng limitasyon sa pag-focus. Kung kaya naman i-balance ang work at ang cryptocurrency, then lubhang makakatulong ito sa pag-iipon ng pera both for short ang long term!
