I'm not bothered about privacy, but I am annoyed by useless apps being installed, and using up resources and bandwidth. I must be pretty boring because I  don't want to listen to music on the phone, or send pictures of my tonsils or other body parts to people, or use any of the other gimmicky apps that seem to try to install themselves.
I also don't like when phone is full of pre-installed apps, especially these which aren't needed for me. Rooting your phone helps in such cases, but downside of it that you loose warranty.
I like Android One series phones because basically, it's clean Android without bloatware and just some pre-installed Google apps.
4622  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Netherlands pilot scheme to allow women to play in senior men's team on: August 05, 2020, 11:16:14 PM
I have nothing against women playing together with men in amateur level. I even know one women playing in men team in my country in Sunday league. But they have no chance to play in professional level, even if they would have Messi skills. Physical differences is just too big. Well, unless she is like Caster Semenya with very high level of testosterone.
I remember reading article about USA women national team (current World Champions loosing to Dallas U15 team. So, best women players in the world with amazing skilss can't even beat bunch of teenagers.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-4389760/USA-women-s-team-suffer-5-2-loss-FC-Dallas-U-15-boys.html
So, I think that women can compete together with men in pro level only when physical differences isn't important. Like darts, snooker, motosport or curling.
By the way, few moments ago I saw add on TV that this Saturday our women national basketball team will play against U16 side. Will be interesting to watch Cheesy.
4623  Economy / Reputation / Re: 1xBit.com Coming back to Bitcointalk, Solving all the issues. on: August 05, 2020, 10:54:22 PM
First, can you prove that you're official 1xBit account? Why you're not using this account?:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2122225
If you really want to make fresh start and solve all problems, it's good step, but knowing your history, I'm very sceptical about it.
You say that 1xBit now is controled by new team. So, you want to say that you're not owned by 1xBet anymore? Let's say, but I doubt about it.
And you're saying that you doubt that there is way to solve 2+ years old issues. Why? Because not all users who posted scam accusations against you are inactive now. You can begin with @SyGambler issue for example.
But it will be difficult to solve all accusations because there is so many of it.
4624  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Huawei without Google on: August 05, 2020, 10:33:22 PM
Never been fan of Huawei, but they were turning into serious competitor for Samsung and Apple. They were offering quite good phones for low price. But now, without Google services it looks like half-working product. Yes, Huawei are making their own AppGallery, but it reminds me story of WindowsPhone and how they failed. You simply won't find so many apps that you need. And I think it's not likely that majority of apps that you can find on Google Play will be ever uploaded there.
So, I don't any reasons to buy Huawei when I simply can buy fully working Android phone. Well, unless you're hardcore Huawei fan, but you have to be ready for lot of inconvenience while using this phone.
And none of Android phones is good in terms of privacy. If you really concerned about it, it would best to use old Nokia phone.
4625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: August 05, 2020, 08:59:07 PM
Shakhtar - Wolfsburg. I pick Shakhtar win @2.95, I see big value there. Wolfsburg didn't played well after restart and they don't have few players today. They also didn't have competeitive game for more than month. There is one less risky option - Shakhtar won't loose @1.63.
Inter - Getafe. Inter win @1.77. If this would happen before quarantine, I wouldn't be so sure, but now Inter playing solid, while Getafe struggled in La Liga.
MU - LASK - safe bet over 2.5 @1.5
So, all 4 bets won, not bad ✓. Some nice profit.
Most games went as expected. Shakhtar was better team today, but they managed to score only after 89 minute.
Inter deserved to win, though Getafe played quite and had their chances.
Biggest surprise is big Copenhagen win.
4626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: August 05, 2020, 03:50:39 PM
I'll share some my thoughts about today games.
Shakhtar - Wolfsburg. I pick Shakhtar win @2.95, I see big value there. Wolfsburg didn't played well after restart and they don't have few players today. They also didn't have competeitive game for more than month. There is one less risky option - Shakhtar won't loose @1.63.

MU - LASK - safe bet over 2.5 @1.5
I'm only not sure about Copenhagen - Basaksekhir game because I haven't see many games of these teams after restart, so I don't know what to expect.

Happy to see you learned from your mistake. Did you suffer from it financially, did they get any money off you? I’ve never been hacked but I’ve been the victim of credit card fraud 3 times now. Luckily my banks fraud department stopped 2 of them but had to wait a while to be reimbursed on one of them.
Fortunately, hacker wasn't able to take my money. He managed to login to one of my exchange account and tried to withdraw money. But there was SMS verification for withdrawals enabled, so it protected me from bigger problems. I still don't know how exactly he managed to hack me, where was my main mistake. But I really learned from it. Now I use strong and different passwords everywhere, have 2FA enabled and taking other precautions.
4628  Economy / Reputation / Re: Duckdice.io feedback removal on: August 04, 2020, 11:12:46 PM
Do you guys take the time to read a topic before posting? Just curious cause if ya did you'd likely see duckdice feedback showing a -1. Then if you dug just a little deeper you'd see that -1 was from Zepher. Then in conclusion you would see that JeromeTash answered the reason that tag would not be taken off. Hence rendering your replies useless.
Maybe folks above haven't looked into issue deeper, but there isn't just Zepher feedback left on Duckdice profile - it shows -2 at least for me. I don't have custom trust list, so feedback left by Lutpin is shown as Trusted.

hi
i forgot my email address and my password in freebitco.in
but i know my wallet address
what can i do?
^ Probably 10% chances you will recover your account, you can simply grab a bitcoin address from the site and claiming that this is your account.
It is good if you remember you email address even though your password is not. At that point, they can easily trust you that you are the real owner of that account. But try to reach out to their support team, probably they will listen to your claim but I don't know how long the process before will solve. Nevertheless, you can make another account if there's no balance of that account you have said.
Don't be so sceptical. If he can sign a message from Bitcoin address that he used on Freebitco.in, then most likely that he is original owner of account. If he can't, well, nothing else can be done to recover his account.
4630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: August 04, 2020, 09:26:40 PM
So, Fulham is back to EPL after one year. A bit disappointed, wanted to see Brentford in EPL. It was equal game which went to extra time. But big mistake of Brentford goalkeeper was key point in this game...
4631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: August 04, 2020, 09:22:52 PM
The weather forecast for Sunday afternoon is 22C, with very little chance of rain. https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2637827
Also the hard tyres that were the preferred option last time will not be available... which means presumably that no-one will be trying a one-stop strategy.
If they are going for 2 or even 3 stop, then we shouldn't have the situation where an early safety car means cars running huge stints on one set of tyres.

... which all goes to suggest a predictable race.

Is anyone betting against a Merc 1-2?

Yeah, I read that Pirelli will send softer compound tyres to this GP. So, I think that 1 pit stop strategy is not likely this weekend.
It will be hot on free practices on Friday - 32°C and 26°C on Saturday. But on race day it will be just 22-23°C, something similar like last weekend. Though, forecast may change until race.
So, if nothing unexpected won't happen, Mercedes probably are going to dominate again.
4632  Other / Meta / Re: Protecting Your Account on: August 04, 2020, 09:03:31 PM
I just want to add my 2 cents Satoshi to this story. My account was also hacked few years, fortunately I was able recover it soon without any damage done, thanks to @Cyrus.
Hacker was able to reach not only Bitcointalk account, but also my email too. Back then I didn't care about security much. I used average short passwords just because it's more convenient. 2FA? Why, who needs it. I just was sure that it won't happen too me because I'm not dumb and I don't visit phishing websites or click unknown links in email. But then I learned from my mistake. So, better safe than sorry.
Though, even with all precautions, there is no guarantee that someone will not hack you, what story with Twitter shows.
4633  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Beirut just got nuked it's on the news on: August 04, 2020, 08:45:31 PM
It looks so scary. Damage of explosion is huge - city looks like after war. There is 50 victims and 2700 people injured, but these numbers are going to grow unfortunately, considering that explosion happened in big city and it was so powerful.
There is no confirmation what was inside storage. In this video it looks like fireworks, but it might be guns or some kind of chemical material too:
https://mobile.twitter.com/Jtruzmah/status/1290676668617564160
But I don't think it's terror attack.
4634  Other / Meta / Re: Protecting Your Account on: August 03, 2020, 10:42:14 PM
I had my email address shown public on my profile. It's not my main email, I don't use it for exchanges and other important things. But probably it's not smart to show it in public, so I just hide it after I read this post. It's not just about security - email shown in public means that will get lot of spam.
Hate to see what happened to Pamoldar. I just hope that hacker wasn't able to touch his funds on exchanges or other significant damage.
4635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's UEFA Champions League Football Preditor Pool Discussion thread on: August 03, 2020, 09:16:51 PM
Quarters might be but not the rest of the games before it:

https://talkimg.com/images/2023/09/10/mq9lW.jpeg

I would have liked to watch all those matches. I'll probably watch the City/Madrid and Barca/Napoli as I think those will be more entertaining/closer.
Yeah, I also would like all games, maybe except Bayern - Chelsea LOL. But even in normal situation, when we aren't in pandemy, 2 round of 16 games are always played on same time and I really don't like that.

One off games for the 1/4 & semi finals devalues the competition for me. There should be a * next to the name of the winner on thr trophy. The whole format of the competition has changed.
I also have similar opinion that changed format devalues competition a bit. But we live in very strange times and I think that such competition is better than nothing. I think that people after 20-30 years will remember that 2020 season wasn't usual...

As I said before, I'll join, no matter what signup fee will be. For me something like £50 would be optimal - bigger sign up fee means bigger pot - more fun to play. But I'm not sure, maybe it will be too much for some people. And it's nice to see BTC going up recently. As you said, 0.005 BTC is really nice number and I don't think it's too much for whole season fun activity Smiley. And it's nice deal that you got from Sportsbet Wink.
4637  Economy / Reputation / Re: BitcoinGirl.Club hacked? on: August 03, 2020, 03:39:01 PM
The question now is who hacked his account because that is some pretty shady stuff over some petty shit.
Can you use some Global Mod powers to see if there are IP matches?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that only theymos have access to IP addresses of users.
4638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: August 02, 2020, 10:53:39 PM
I just give an example for this, why? Because, he can re-build Barcelona after failed to be La Liga champions for four years. I don't say barcelona need to be hire him again. Because Is not easy for any coach for rebuild the clubs after failed to be a champion in few years. In this case, if Barcelona sold more than 8 players, they need an architect. Guardiola? He just good because he was easy to buy a star players. And when he can bring Barcelona as champions, he was lucky have a player from Rijkaard.
Well, Rijkard haven't worked as manager since 2013, it seems that he don't work as manager anymore. I think it would be suicide to go into Barcelona after such long break. And in general, manager position is very hot in Barcelona right now, I think not every manager would accept such offer.
I really don't know who would be good choice for Barca. I would love to see Xavi, but not now, maybe few years later. Pochettino? Personally, I don't want to see him in Barcelona at all. Koeman would be interesting choice, but it's not likely that he is going to leave Netherlands national team.
While Kluivert or B team coach Pimienta have not enough experience to manage such club.
4639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: August 02, 2020, 10:03:09 PM
According to bookmakers, MU is main favorites currently, they been really solid after lockdown.
Inter is second, but it won't be easy to get through Getafe. Though Getafe played terrible after lockdown.
I think that Bayer and Sevilla have good chances.
Wolves and Shakhtar are underdogs and probably they aren't going to win trophy, but I think they can make some noise.

I wouldn't see it so clearly this year. The cards can change in a very short time due to the pandemic. Just imagine what would happen if ManU would have a positive Covid case and some players (or the whole time) need to go in quarantin , then the favourite role would basically be gone. Same with the other clubs. I think we could see a total outsider win the EL this year, like FC Basel or Getafe. Everything is possible in these crazy times.
Well, personally I don't agree with bookmakers that MU is ovbious favorites and I hope they will bottle. But I think that things may went in unexpected way not just because of possible Covid-19 outbreak in one of teams. Don't forget that there will be just one leg game in each round, what gives mores chances for underdogs. And also, national leagues ended on different dates - Bundesliga ended month ago, La Liga few weeks ago, while Serie A jus this weekend. So, teams will be in different conditions.
4640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: August 02, 2020, 06:08:43 PM
Wow, what a crazy finnish. Actually, whole race was boring, but that end made it worth to watch. Bottas and Sainz are really unlucky today - they wasted so much time until they reached pits to change tyres that even finnished without points. While Hamilton is so lucky today - I can't remember when I saw race winner finnishing on 3 wheels.
While another podium for Ferrari with such car is really great result,

Happy to not see Verstappen winning, he was too greedy changing the tires to get the fast lap while Mercedes was struggling with tires.
Why greddy? He had no chances to reach Mercedes, so changing tyres and try to get fastest lap is logical decision. And who knows, if he wouldn't had made pit stop, Merceses and Sainz disaster would happen to him.
