Hulkenberg is the best choice for Racing Point. He was driving in the championship last year and he has a lot of experience of races. The only difference is that this year is in a much more faster car than the last season... Racing Point have in this short time not much opinion... You say the right that's the right way with Hulkenberg but for him i think it's very difficult. To yesterday, Verstappen has a very good pace i hope he can remember this today ✌

I think his best ever finish in a race is fifth. Weirdly, coming in as a reserve this season gives him a great chance of improving on that, and even getting a podium place in the Racing Point.

^ Just this year? More like since F1 switched engines to the V6. Lol. Mercedes already had advanced research on the spec and was way ahead of the pack.
I can't wait for next season...

All Teams more than 1 seconnd behind Mercedes, that's tomorrow a boring race. When no weather change or technical error Mercedes will win.
Sorry to say but this situation we will see this and next years with only Mercedes wins.

Yep 1 second faster is a too big gap for the other teams. Let's hope something interesting will happen tomorrow.

MotoGP also have a race at Portimao, and no race outside from Europe https://www.motorsport.com/motogp/news/calendar-news-malaysia-thailand-argentina/4846610MotoGP has cancelled the remaining flyaway races in Argentina, Thailand and Malaysia for 2020, but is set to add Portugal to the calendar as the 14th race.
So interesting track also for MotoGP and with 14th race also a exiting championship.

Yes, I think you are correct. There is a chance of Mercedes winning every race until 2022... I think Red Bull and Ferrari both gambled with development to try to come up with something brilliant that would beat Mercedes, but for both the gamble failed and they are left with cars that are worse than last year's. Add in a small Mercedes improvement, and the fact that Ferrari can't use last year's engine, and the gap becomes huge. It's not just Mercedes getting better, it's also other teams trying to beat Mercedes and ending up making their own cars worse.

last 2 years were fun to watch, now they are 1 second ahead for lap. They are improving yes but they were using illegal holes on tires, irregular tests on Pirelli, they were testing the new engine with FIA years before others. They make a ban on the Ferrari progress engine and they are using now the same thing or their engine... To be continued

Absolutely ridiculous finish to the British GP just now... punctures for both Mercedes cars, Hamilton on last lap. Verstappen was so far behind Hamilton, he took an extra pit stop to get fastest lap... but as it turned out, if he stayed out and not pitted for fastest lap, he'd have easily caught the 3-wheeled Hamilton and won the race! This from the official F1 twitter account sums it up:

Yes many luck for Hamilton, and for Bottas the worst case so also the championship is for the rest oft the year yet already a one man show. For the construction Mercedes will win with many points bevor the second.

But too bad those things need to happen to get a chance of the victory of the other teams.

WTF has happened in the last 2 laps. Hamilton is always lucky in this kind of situation . Ferrari got another miracle today with the podium. Happy to not see Verstappen winning, he was too greedy changing the tires to get the fast lap while Mercedes was struggling with tires.

At Brno i see a chance for Yamaha only the uphill straight you need more engine power but the under circuit at Brno is a balanced circuit. But in Austria that's a power race for the engine there i don't see many chance for Yamaha bu we will see the next 4 Weeks. And Honda have without Marc not really a chance to win, but think he'll be back soon.
I read some news if Marquez will perform in Brno. Marquez is a great racer, despite suffering from an injury to his right hand, he will try to win the race in Brno. We know Brno has eight turns to the right, this is the same as an injury the right arm. Surely this injury will be difficult because the heavy burden when cornering to the right will make him feel pain in his arm. Although there are still many weaknesses and Marquez is not ready 100%, I think Yamaha should be vigilant because we know Marquez is a racer who has a strong will.

Wow, what a crazy finnish. Actually, whole race was boring, but that end made it worth to watch. Bottas and Sainz are really unlucky today - they wasted so much time until they reached pits to change tyres that even finnished without points. While Hamilton is so lucky today - I can't remember when I saw race winner finnishing on 3 wheels. While another podium for Ferrari with such car is really great result, Happy to not see Verstappen winning, he was too greedy changing the tires to get the fast lap while Mercedes was struggling with tires.
Why greddy? He had no chances to reach Mercedes, so changing tyres and try to get fastest lap is logical decision. And who knows, if he wouldn't had made pit stop, Merceses and Sainz disaster would happen to him.

And who knows, if he wouldn't had made pit stop, Merceses and Sainz disaster would happen to him. Yes, this is true. Verstappen did say "The tyres didn't look great with 10 laps to go, they didn't look pretty." If he had carried on, he could quite easily have had the same issue. I take back my earlier comment: if he stayed out and not pitted for fastest lap, he'd have easily caught the 3-wheeled Hamilton and won the race!
If he stayed out and not pitted for fastest lap, he may have easily caught the 3-wheeled Hamilton and won the race, or he may have lost a tyre and dropped some places. The sad thing is the way this impacts the championship, Bottas is now so far behind Hamilton, in cars that normally finish 1 and 2, that it would now take 4 Bottas victories to undo the damage done today (25-18)*4 = 28. The safety car caused everyone to make their stop a bit earlier than they would have normally, which is why the tyres were struggling so much at the end - they had run longer than they should have. That said, it's a surprise that we had 3 instances of total tyre failure, and Pirelli will need to look at that.

Because he saw Bottas with tire explosion and Hamilton with blistering. Since he knows he will not gonna win the championship he needs to point to winning. He could stay out and hope for a similar problem to Hamilton, Bottas and Hamilton pitted on the same lap. The Verstappen tires were in a better condition but he was greedy he went to the pit to earn 1 point from the fastest lap, while everyone knows no one will beat this Mercedes for the championship. To me is a huge mistake to aim at 1 useless point.

To pit Verstappen was the most logical thing to do at that point in the race.Unfortunately it turned out that if they wouldn’t pit Max then he would have won the race as his tires were not as degraded as the ones of Mercedes drivers were.Right when I was thinking it is the first Silverstone boring race the series of events in the last laps made it beautiful to watch.

Everyone is judging RBR for giving Max a pit stop otherwise he might be first, but how could they know that Hamilton is going to have tyre problem in the end of the race?
