So at 50 mil EON, you are saying there is a hard cap on 500 billion EON? Is this how devs do things with these PoS coins, I suppose I haven't been paying attention. Pretty sure you should only be counting the PoW blocks when you are talking premine. Kinda just guesstimating in my head, but going from 1 bil EON to 500 billion EON will take decades I think. So does all the PoS coin you accumulate starting this thing off with 5% of the total PoW coins not count? In 50 years when the last EON is mined, I don't want you getting an unfair cut of all the pure virgin brides you can buy for your harem when the anti-christ rises and the new world order institutes EON as the one world currency. |

Besides Counterparty (which despite the price drop has worked out well for me) I have never invested in an IPO. I threw a few BTC toward this thing cuz I'm a sucker for POS coins, and dat wallet sure wuz purdy.
Not saying it's right what this scam artist did, but if you don't use a trusted escrow on these things, you are begging to have your coins stolen.

Maybe I am just an idiot or the fact that I am still new to the crypto game(about a month) but I cannot get the wallet to sync up. I had it open over night and it still says it is out of sync. I wouldn't usually care but I have coins that should be in it and obviously they are not. Any help?

I am making a plan. Trying to listen to everyone's opinion a bit first and debating whether or not to close the IPCO early. Selling them cheaper during the IPCO was a joke in response to the guy who said he was going to sell thousands of coins for 12k satoshi in this thread. The amount of coins destroyed will be the overwhelming majority of the premine, only a small amount would be kept for the faucet, exchanges, etc. This is because I didn't receive as much btc as I had hoped to do these things. There's more to it than just "Oh hey we're going to try and make a bunch of people follow a specific plan via the internet and decentralized services..." because that totally happens all the time... The only thing that happened is you got 0 BTC and haven't made shit off your rather unremarkable coin. "Immediately after the 12 hour IPCO ends, any leftover coins will be destroyed. The total supply of OMCoins will decrease instantly. The devs will not keep or have access to any of the remaining coins. This will be accomplished by sending the remaining coins to a dummy address that can never be accessed by anyone. The fake address will be public and the transaction can be seen on block explorers." These coins are already low though. This is about knocking down shitcoins, not beating a dead horse. Also, FoxCoin and MIM have gone nowhere simply because their distributions were too fair, IMO. They weren't mined out in a month so didn't appeal to the get rich quick crowd which seems to represent this generation of miners. They are solid little coins, and don't deserve to be murdered. I guess this is all relative, which is why I think a formal voting system of some kind is needed, but PANDA, GLD (the original scam coin!), and MOON seem to fit the bill. We are building a formal one on the exchange itself, I was just trying to get the ball rolling. Ill go with Panda, GLD and moon to start and we can add from there. Cool, I'm glad someone listens to me around here!  DEL definitely needs to build some value first. Part of the problem here is the low low price of DEL. Miners are thinking, why dump one worthless shitcoin for another worthless shitcoin? So it's a bit of a catch-22, to get the ball rolling a bit more on this project DEL needs to build value. DEL isn't building value because it still isn't being used for it's intended purpose! Will continue to follow this project and mine and buy DEL when I can to support the cause. |

I'm surprised this coin hasn't caught on more. Everyone scared of the ASIC monsters coming to eat up the profitability of their GPUs loves new algos, heat and power use is low, and GPU mining is only like 5-10x more efficient than CPU.
I think the marketing on this coin is just shit.
First off, the name is god awful, no one knows how to say it or spell it. Just because it is the name of the algo doesn't mean it has to be the name of the coin. Look at Skeincoin. Seems like a solid coin and algo, name is shit, no one wants to touch it right outta the gate.
Secondly, no one is playing up the fact that GPU mining is only 5-10x more efficient that a CPU. This may not seem like a great thing at first, but gives a perfect way to market itself to miners. "CPU/GPU miners united together, against the ASIC hordes!"
Now I hate this cliche and I never use it myself, but seriously, the devs have got to be autistic.
You have these really cool aspects of the coin, yet you are promoting it with a link to the Grosestl whitepaper? NO ONE IS GONNA READ THE FUCKING WHITE PAPER!
Seriously devs, make a new thread, stick my slogan about CPU/GPU miners united against ASIC in the title, and BOOM, interest in the coin rises 10x overnight.
