I don't know if bears are willing to destroy this market. They can do it now if they want. It will all depend on how many bears are being bought by banks to crash the crypto to death. Banks are the most interested in this destruction, as well as governments, so big players are playing here.

i know one thing for certain: The market is dying, and i can't believe people are still mining and buying. It's just crazy.

with current supply, probably noone below 100 ETH will be allowed to enter PoS. So probably all of us will have to sell at low prices because you´ll not be able to keep them.

BTW, i think ETH can go below 200$ and that's a Game Over because most of those 70 million coins shared at the begining had that value (200$) to begin their projects.

at 250$ you are mining at a loss if your price per KWh is around 0,15ish $ which is very common.

it's mixed. At night i pay like 0,08€/kWh (0.09ish $) for 14 hours,  and from 13:00 to 22:59 i pay 0,18€ or 0,21ish $. the mix is around 0,142ish $ / kWh.

according to experts, 200$ is game over for ETH since at that price is where ICOS have build their profit for doing their project. If that price is achieved, they will sell the coins and the drop will be massive.

The ACTUAL VALUE OF ETH is the value people give to this asset. It's based, mostly, on speculations. You already know this right?

The REAL VALUE OF ETH, is the value the company can make out of the coin, to create projects using this net , by signing smart contracts (which are directly paid to developpers, not investors or miners) or PoS. Because PoS will share the profit of smart contracts between big miners to hold the encryption and transactions (that's why many many people will not be able to enter PoS even if they have 10 or even 100 ETH. the less people, the more to share among them).

Now the big question is: how many money can Vitalik make from ETH by smart contracts???  i bet ETH as a company that sells their net using smart contracts is no more valueable than 1 bln $. But , it's coin due to speculations is valued in 20 bln more or less right now.

so the price of the project in the market is way higher that the profit the company can make out of it.

my machines are off, but if they were on, i would be doing 8$ per month after electricity so still in profit. But it makes no fucking sense to do it at that price. Moreover, i disagree with mr metroid. I don't think your specullations for price are gonna get real. Hope you are not building your future based on NO BASIS.

is it possible to program a timetable in the miner, so that it starts mining only during certain hours? can that be done? if you cannot, well, thats a way to go in developpment. If possitive, can you tell me how??

mining ETH gives no profit today. In fact, i would be only 8$ a month after electricity, switching off the machines was a smart move. I don't think ETH will ever recover from this,so if you are mining at a loss, you´ll lose double. Someone in this forums deserves that. He should be eating his nails like hardcore zombie.

If you are thinking of selling, just do it know. Yesterday there was a huge pump of GPUS here in Spain, more than 300 appeared at the same time from the same seller, at 150€ sell. He/she has sold half of those in 1 day.
so selling the equipment will also be at a loss. I bought my 1060 for gaming at 220€ and you can buy them with garanty from seller for 150€ or even cheaper if you leave ebay and buy it personally.


Next? next is put my hands in my pockets and glue them. my rigs with 570's and 580's will get stay with me a bit longer in case by december everything changes, but i highly doubt it.

there is NO FUCKING REASON TO BELIEVE IN THIS MARKET. Not a single one. When things begun to go wrong, even ICOS with projects behind sold their coins to get fiat. If even developpers exit the market , WHY ARE YOU BELIEVING IN THIS???

It's really sad, not seeing the market die i simply don't care, ive been many weeks predicting this (check my posts if you don't believe me), what is really sad is watching you guys have blind faith on the recovery when it is almost sure it will not happen. This market is dead in many ways. Specially in regulations, laws and taxes.
