lol Thanks ! <3
What is an sM though? sub-Merit? small-Merit? semi-Merit?

that question is why you shouldn't be given any merit.. It shows that you haven't even read the 1st post in this thread.

It was under a subtitle named "Trivia" Cheesy
And excuse me but I've read the 1st post and I knew about "half merit of what you get, you can send it", what I didn't notice was the naming.

I can see how somebody could be confused by the logical abbreviation sM for sMerit. Ergo, +1 sM = one sMerit sent.

Don't spend the +1 sM that my alter ego sent you all in one place, bud.

Hah, paper jam.... Homero's wet dream.

Not gonna happen.

No new court date set yet, but VICTIM IMPACT statements are still rolling in, so that's a plus!

probably that is the reason for delays Undecided

It turns out that it was quite expensive to maintain that data, and people have complained about it previously as a privacy concern, so it's likely to stay disabled for a long time, at least.

Yeah, that makes perfect sense. I can now easily see how the WO page would be a security risk cuz it depicted what thread a user was viewing at any given time over the course of the prior ~20 minutes. Also, I can see how that would be expensive to maintain that data, especially when say 100K users view said page to glean said info expressed, whereas a page like https://bitcointalk.org/seclog.php poses 0 risks for users with nobody complaining and isn't that expensive to maintain because nobody really visits said page because all they'll be able to glean is the likes of ...

Yep, I, among others, can now clearly see how Who's Online depicting ... wait for it ... who's online for the past ~20 minutes would be a security risk for users cuz it doesn't have the word security in its title, but the page entitled Security Logs depicting sensitive data over the course of the past ~30 days isn't a security risk to users because it has the word security in its title.

we are only at the beginning we will see with time if this system will manage to raise the quality of posts and reduce spam

Yeah, sure. That's why legendary are sending each other merits, not sharing with anyone else.

In the meantime don't hold your breath. You won't be ranking up any time soon and neither will I.

Uhh... I think I should be offended.

My rank is legendary, and I've tried to distribute what sMerit I get to posts by newer members that strike me as interesting, constructive, or at least well thought out.

Mind you, the system is new and it's NOT habitual to me yet, but I have made the effort. And it appears to me that I am not alone in this.

Bitching by itself will not get you merit, that I can almost guarantee. Bitching with a point, or sharp wit, very well might Cheesy

"Hello, my name is Merit, and I'm a total bitch. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to mingle wit this crowd so to earn me some sM."

People are still hopeful for this Ponzi coin? It must be painful reading "fud" after "fud" posted on here. Just sell and bring your remaining capital to other coins with potential and never fall again for another con.

Yeah, like YTC in supporting YouTubers. See my sig.

I wouldn't bank on that being available anytime soon. These sort of stats had unnecessary strain on the forum and were presumably targeted when the forum has been DDOSED, and we'll likely only see the most important stats coming back. Can't you just check each profile individually to find out who's online?

Yes, but for a sleuth, such provided so much more info. Same true for a handful of others aspect no longer available for us sleuths. Sad!

Merit is the dream of all dividing the soul of the coming rank up of the members. Piercing the heart of the eager. Broke the mind of simpletons. Rebuking the shits but lights up the inner core. Hear folks the shouts of merit FAIR or UNFAIR side by side of this corner. Merit sounds COOL but the people FALL. Arguing the silent killer/life giver (merit/rank up) of what, why, how, and what if can be find almost everywhere. Hope merit will be settled.

I hope I contribute to this topic.

Yes you have. Thank you.

Follow the link in my sig if you lost money through Yakov Fagrizio's scam sites. Chances are real good that you'll make a handsome return after our ICO ends. Participation is limited to U$500 per user/ETH wallet address. It's the least you could do for the dude - ME - who was instrumental in exposing Yakov's scammy ass.

Sad thing is some people still don't think its a scam.

Even sadder is that them very people, if you can call them that, will continue to procreate with one another, thus polluting humanity for centuries to come.

Hi people!
I have enough activity to change my rank.
But now we need to have 500 Merit.

I have no idea where to get it. Where I write the answers in the topics, there are many beginners.
Now and for 10 years you can not get this amount.
Very disappointing.
Why do you need to rank up? Because of the campaigns? Is that the only reason why you are here? Instead of being disappointed you should be happy because when this merit system was implemented you are already at Sr rank unlike those who are stuck at lower rank and they have no choice but work with the system.

Personally I think this is a good system as it encourages higher quality posts and forces me to think harder to create unique posts that are value-adding so as to enrich the community.

Adapt and survive Cool

Would you think even harder if there was an opportunity in receiving tokens from users for your posts deemed worthy of such? Envisioned is akin to how the Steem community rewards posters but on this forum paid directly from/directly to BCT users. <yes, I've seen your posts over on Steem, bud - try not to spend your to-date earnings of three cents all in one place  Tongue; my question is genuine in spite of the latter quasi-snideism>

499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: February 13, 2018, 04:06:27 AM
Because like what I have been saying all along, BCC does not represent Bitconnect! BCC is a TOKEN that can be traded and has tons of development behind it. Bitconnect used BCC for its pyramid scheme scam, in fact they don't hold much of it, most of it was sold to public at a huge price and they took off with the BTC.

What development?

The PUBLIC, the cry babies who fell for the scam, are now holding the BCC and some of them who are the bigger MORONs are selling it first cheap around $2.50

Remember BCC was sold at around 50 cents during its original ICO debut so almost NO ONE has lost any money, it is still trading well above its ICO.

People who bought it at $400 might disagree with you

But still, since it was worth $400 at one point, when BTC starts running again this is going to be up HUGE.

This has nothing to do with BTC. And the scam is dead. It's not going up. Scammers have moved on to their next scheme.

Fuck that! People who bought it at above U$4.00 WILL all disagree with him.

Well you never seemed to understand that Bitconnect weren't in any financial problems regarding the lending. They could easily have continued. Everyone seems to be happy they decided they needed to shut it down but I'm sure the lenders wanted it to continue as it was. Who actually wanted it to close? It was profitable for bitconnect still at the time it closed.

Bitconnect was profitable and its customers wanted it to continue but Bitconnect decided to shut itself down because someone (not customers apparently) complained. Is that what you're saying?

The only way this makes any sense is if Bitconnect is a ponzi. Legitimate profitable businesses don't do that.

And yes, I fully understand that these scammers never had financial problems and still don't.

"Okay, we're shuttin' down this profitable gold mine because somebody in the outside world complained about the work being too hard, perhaps some pussy dude from Texas living in his mom's basement, merely spreadin' FUD for shits and giggles."
