481  Economy / Economics / Re: How to double your money using BTC? on: June 25, 2017, 12:52:51 PM
Holding Bitcoin is the best Idea. Really, If anybody holds some Bitcoin for few month He will make a huge profit on it.

If one doesn't know how to grow bitcoins by investing in good ico or invest in any casino bankrolls then just hold on to it. Over the time they can easily double or even more than can make money from it. Otherwise, some portion of your bitcoins invests in some good alt-coins which can make your money double even faster. I have put some money in Waves, IOTA, NEM, ETH & etc.
482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Free Ripple - How to get XRP for free on: June 25, 2017, 04:33:51 AM
Is this 'selling' our email for 1 XRP? Probably would get spam email from this, appreciate the offer. Is this a one time thing, or would it become a faucet in the future?

Yes, it looks like an email marketing purpose they are collecting all crypto-currency users list so that they can either sell all emails or they can start sending spam emails. I'm not in for this offer but some users may use fake or dummy emails to collect these free coins.

Edit - after this post I read your above post. But still, I'm not in for this offer.
483  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: June 25, 2017, 03:14:38 AM
I heard that bitcoin is a good investment for making a huge profit in the future , is that right ? Because i want to buy some bitcoin in these days .

don't invest everything you ever had but make sure to invest something. bitcoin is very scarce. there is a very limited number of coins created and the maximum amount will be fixed and won't change. it is a simple supply and demand relationship.

I didn't understand what you mean by maximum amount is fixed? are you referring to the price per coin or maximum amount of coins can be mined?

I think both can change because as long as people can mine bitcoins then its numbers will grow and as along as demand can grow for bitcoins its price will also grow and there is no limit for it.
484  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is still faster than Paypal. on: June 25, 2017, 03:10:50 AM
These are two different concepts for comparison, but PayPal makes payments faster than bitcoin. But bitcoin is a currency with which you can earn.
I am pretty sure that it doesn't matter if people send or receive payments with Bitcoin, the speed of their transactions are pretty much instant compared to most banking companies. PayPal has a higher chance for money loss since the people in PayPal like to rip their customers off even if they are in the right.

Paypal is the not best good or better than bitcoin according to me. Since the time and cost of the transaction btc is top. Other than that I have heard that paypal has been involved many email scam attempts.
Bitcoin or any blockchain technology does not involved in scam, only people do btc related business only scam us.

You're accusing paypal of being involved in email scam attempts?

Enlighten me, how will that work?
They will trick you to give them your paypal password? This is hilarious.

Let's be honest a bit here.
If we count how many paypal users are there and how many bitcoiners and we compare the amount of scams involving the two..ouch.
Or if we compare the number of successful attempts to get your money back...oh wait , in bitcoinland it does not happen.

But again you're comparing a currency with a payment method.
Compare paypal with bitpay.

Your arguments are extremely one-sided.

Let me say something then: The amount of people who got scammed by paypal chargebacks, and compare that figure to the amount of bitcoin chargebacks or doublespends.

OH wait, in bitcoinland there are no doublespends/chargebacks after 6 confirmations. That's 60 minutes. Let's look at paypal then, you have to wait 180 days. You might say, fair enough, that should be the warranty period... But wait, there are people that have been charged dback after YEARS, because whether paypal can be charged back depends on the credit card company, and credit card companies often side with the buyer.

As a seller online, do you really want to get into this? Prolly not.
Well said, Me too I have experience in the paypal that my account has been lock and it's have almost 400$ but unfortunately that time I am just an under age so no proof of billing and after a year my money has been gone when I have the requirements I am not underage in that year.

I don't know why you guys have a so bad opinion about the Paypal service. Every service will have their won terms and conditions and as long as you follow them then I don't think you will have any issues. I'm using Paypal over last 10 years and never had any issues and I bought many items using their payment service in last 10 years.

I use bitcoins mainly for investment purpose and Paypal to buy things online from unknown persons. I like both of them but for different purposes.

If you're not clear about the advertisement it is better to clarify before you add funds to any site. If you're not happy then just withdraw your funds and they also don't take any withdrawals fee. What they said also correct because all fine details they may not be able to show in the advertisements and sometimes it frustrates us but partially it is our fault as well.
486  Economy / Speculation / Re: any chance bitcoin to rise up to $5000 this year or a fatal crash? on: June 24, 2017, 09:35:38 AM
Hello all experts, what do you guys think about it? Is there any chance for bitcoin the digital currency to rise up to the level of $5000 this year. I just read a news and now they are saying bitcoin speculators are the new day traders which definitely means the volume is rising and so are the traders.

Yes there is a chance of $5000 this year.

Next years. Vance is $18000.

In 2020 or sooner Bitcoin mining reward will half again to 6.25 BTC per block.

Bitcoin will be extremely rare.

I'm sure prices of bitcoins will reach to 20000+ but I don't think it will happen like what you mentioned above. In this year it may go 3000+ but I don't think it will go to 5000 range. That is like another 100% up from current price. If it goes so much high in short time then it will correct back a lot so I want to a slow and study growth.
487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: June 24, 2017, 04:51:43 AM
No, experience doesn't matter in games of chance like dice and slot machines, now if there is a certain skill required, then yes experience helps.
But maybe the experience will help you in managing your finances, and it can be included in managing finances to play in some games that do not require. I always thought that managing finances was part of the gamble, so I think the experience would be helpful in any game.

Managing your bankroll may help to reduce your losses but it will not give you any guaranty to win money. To win money from gambling you just need to be lucky then without experience also you can make money. All those skills and experiences are good to reduce losses so don't gamble to make a money instead just gamble for fun.
488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Many Casinos Are There in Your Country? on: June 24, 2017, 04:47:11 AM
How many casinos are there in your country, state or city? Any nearby ones that you frequent?
There is no casino in my country because I live in a country that prohibits gambling. So if I want to play gambling I have to go to the nearby country of the existing casino. This is very inconvenient because it will definitely require a bigger fee if I want to play gambling in the casino. Whereas once in the capital city of my country there was one big casino, but closed because of this regulation.

Not only in your country but many countries has banned gambling. Since online bitcoin gambling has grown so much and now people are not much worried go to real casinos to play. I have been to real casinos but didn't play anything and only gambled so far online only. I prefer to gamble privately from my PC then going to real casinos to gamble.
489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: June 24, 2017, 03:06:38 AM
IOTA needs to be on more exchanges. I ain't going anywhere near Bitfinex. I also think the price is so high now because there is not enough liquidity.

Price is not so high and it is a time to accumulate in small quantities because if any other good news comes about IOTA then you will miss the chance to buy at the current market price. So it is best to start added small amounts in regular intervals. I also got 2000+ miotas and thinking buy some more.

Upside potential is very limited at this valuation. I would rather take my chances with other cryptos and risk missing out than buy at these levels. Just look at the market cap and ask yourself what are the odds of it going even higher. If it goes any higher, we would be in Bitcoin territory and Bitcoin reached where it is today after 8 years.

Now people know more about these crypto coins compared to 8 years ago. So we can't make this comparison. As everyone knows that Bitcoin got a scalability and slow transaction issues. Investors are finding another product which can solve those problems and IOTA may resolve these problems. The product is still under development, need to wait for some more time to see more good news about this product.
490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin transaction fees fair? on: June 24, 2017, 02:57:31 AM
Everyone wanted higher bitcoin price and we achieved this but another problem become transaction fees. When bitcoin's price was low, we had to pay also low fee and now when it rised, we have to pay high fee in bitcoins and plus that high fee is more higher with current price. Is this fair? The higher the price, the more money miners have with bitcoin exchange.
To my mind when price becomes high, we have to pay low fee and when it becomes low, than fee has to be high. To my mind it had to be done like this from the begining.

I guess it's fair for fees to go up to pay for mining, but it could limit usage of Bitcoin. What I mean is that people will stop using Bitcoin for small transactions and will only use it for larger transactions. Small transactions will need to be handled with an altcoin that is cheaper and has much lower fees.

The fees have dropped now to a reasonable amount and the speeds have vastly improved. I'm glad it is better I was beginning to get worried. I don't like the fact of having to pay fees that are a massive amount if what I'm sending like $5 fee to spend $10 is ridiculous. Now it is less maybe $2.50 or something.

Still, bitcoin fees are quite high to send smaller amounts and I don't think is a good option to use for smaller transactions. Bitcoins are only good for investment purpose or if you want to deal a bigger amount. For a smaller transaction, I'm already moved to other altcoins which make me reasonable to send small amounts.
491  Economy / Speculation / Re: Slow gains and stability on: June 23, 2017, 07:47:07 AM
Price have rose exponentially on starting days of this month so I was worried about another big dump just after that huge pump. Thankfully price remain stable above $2000 and now I think we are heading towards $3000, which might be new floor for bitcoin. $5000 coming........... Wink

It is good that prices need to stabilise around 2500 mark some more time then it will give a good foundation for next big move. Just need to hold on to it and next one or two year time will be making many folds of profit from our investments. Recently Indian government also ask experts to come up with regulation guidelines, let's see how it goes.
492  Economy / Speculation / Re: India to legalize bitcoin on: June 23, 2017, 07:42:56 AM
Very good news and well India is a good country that has a lot of people. This is going to make the price pump again and once other countries will follow these big countries for sure bitcoin will be known worldwide.

Yes, India is a very big country and got a lot of engineers and if this is regulated then surely it will create a lot of demand and also it will give an opportunity for many people to earn money. Totally it will be a win - win situation for both people and government. In next one year, it looks like Bitcoin prices may cross 5000$ mark very easily.
493  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice | Most Popular, Oldest & Trusted | Huge Community | Free BTC | 🎂 on: June 23, 2017, 06:37:53 AM
I will take legal action for sure, will not cost me much, just because they have given you some shit title called CEO does not mean you earned half even a 10th of what they have, still some chump running support requests lol, what they done was illegal and I will follow up with this

Aagh you lost a few pennies. You went yourself to the website to bet, so it's your own responsibility, legal or not.

Or did they force you to bet???  Roll Eyes

Rule number 1, play only with the money you can afford to lose. US-based players that I know also have restrictions, but I never heard them complain or ask about a refund for the money they chose to gamble. For example, if you won, will you be willing to send them back your winnings?

No one will send back money to anyone. Since they lost the money and in a frustration, all these things will come out. Anyway, they already mentioned that he can go and take any actions they want. This is the problem with the addicted gamblers. They first put all their money and gamble to win money but if they lose then start finding a reason to cry to get back the money.
494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Bounty] FundYourselfNow - Revolutionizing Crowdfunding on: June 23, 2017, 06:18:08 AM
I think it will be better for the team to open a new thread for bounty, the talk on this thread should be majorly about development and the success of the ongoing ICO

Yes, actually I came to this thread to find out more details about the project discussion from the forum members. But end up to see only the discussion about the bounty packages they are currently offering. It gives me a feeling that bounty packages are hotter than actual project development.

497  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Make $1.50 per day from my website, typical withdraws in 48 hours! on: June 22, 2017, 01:57:24 AM
Not bad, i know alot of 3rd world country people would love to jump on this !  good luck and best wishes!
I think not all people from 3rd world country will jump on it, few newbies who are trying to earn their first dollar on internet might find this interesting and hope they can withdraw their earning too.  Grin

Yes, whoever got some experience to earn money online will not go for this method. The amount earned is very less per day and one should be running the whole day to get just 60 cents? As you said only newbies may try for some time until the find a better ways of earning money online.
498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 100% transparent Ether lottery - bitcointalk version on: June 22, 2017, 01:51:43 AM
If it is so easy to get funds from people then many people would have tried this method. Very likely anyone will send coins to you.

In that site, I can't understand anything and my google chrome can't translate into English. You should ask some escrows to hold your funds.

Here is the escrow list - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=855778.0
499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Coinbase hacked!! Eth DOWN, on: June 21, 2017, 12:46:39 PM
NO HACK at all.

Only the beginning of the deep-freeze of the ETH-blockchain due to the difficulty-bomb.

Other exchanges have disabled their ETH withdrawals too.

Better sell then hodl/transfer.

Tongue

This dip is temporary or going to be a permanent issue for ETH network? If it is a temporary issue then I feel it may be a good time to accumulate some more to sell later on. But if it is an issue can't be solved then a good time to sell now because prices are still good. I too got few ETH coins and still holding on to it, which I bought around 60+.
500  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Im buying btc for paypal (paypal personal payment ) on: June 21, 2017, 05:37:33 AM
If you're a serious buyer then I suggest changing the payment method to some non-reversible method then you can find seller otherwise no one will trade with reversible payment with newbies like you on this forum. You may be a good person but in online it is quite hard to found out who is good and bad.
