New listed coins are often dumped when they are listed on decentralized exchanges the first day, especially if it has high bonus for presale.
It is a good strategy to buy it then.
But you should be cautious to avoid scam coins.

I think join ICOs are not the right choice for you because most of them are scam now. I lost 60-70%.
Mostly with Powerledger, we power, peercoin, salt, copytrack and hero. I had winners as well like Zebi, nucleus, etc.
But so much more losers. This is the worst year for me in crypto.

Is there any posible way to filter who are going to make an ICO to be able to know if there are scam or not? And is there any bodies of law that would be able to punish them once they turn into scam. And what punishment should be given upon committing such the crime?
Recently, there's no such way to detect of scam ICO, the only way is we need to really watch the ICO that we want to invest. For me when there's a sudden change about the terms of those ICO, we need to be carefully, it might one of their way to scam people. Punishment ? i think there's no bodies of law wanna do that, although if those country give a illegal stamps to "Cryptocurrency" which that means we take the risk and country can do anything much I think this time the punishment for the scam ico is only in the USA. as has been done by the SEC against some ICO projects that are considered to deceive its investors like the centra project |

What's the lack? Hackers are getting money in every few days from exchanges, this is shameful to exchanges developers. I wonder how those exchanges are running with huge trade volume that can't take users responsibility and can't assure the security. I'm feeling sorry for them who loses their money in this criminal activities.
I've read that coinrail will stores their assets in a cold storage after the hacking occured. I mean, what they are doing with their security before they got hacked? they just wanted to fix something that's not right only when it becomes a disastrous problem and people are losing money. This kind of exchange is what grind my gears the most, they just can't get thing right until something really bad happened, really hope that they learn from it so that they will improve their security everytime because no system is safe. security issues is a weakness in conventional markets, it seems they have never learned about previous theft incidents at other exchangers and improving their security systems to minimalize this problem.
