481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever won a prize in Freebitco.in Lottery? If yes, how much? on: October 13, 2017, 07:17:57 AM
Owner actually did nice strategical move with lowering ticket price to only 2 satoshi.

Actually, that wasn't strategical, it was automatic as all prizes and prices on the site are fixed in USD terms. As the price of Bitcoin has gone up so the price in BTC of lottery tickets has come down. It's a sign of how successful and popular the lottery is that the BTC prizes on the lottery have remained so high, many more tickets are now getting sold.

That's right. The rewards as well as the price for tickets, they all depend on the price of Bitcoin. If the price of bitcoin gets lower, they go higher, and when the price of bitcoin goes higher, they become lower. That is how their system works. And, the prizes in lottery also depend on the tickets sold. The more tickets sold for a week, the higher prizes will be given away to the winners. They just keep a portion of all money they get from bought tickets, and give away the remaining percentage to the winners.

No, my earning in that faucet that I worked for more than 1 week just vanished in a matter of seconds.

You must have played the built-in HI-LO multiplier game of theirs. It has a quite higher house-edge than other dices outside, so the chances of losing are more than winning there.
482  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Starting the Trade on: October 12, 2017, 12:48:15 PM
Hello, which exchanges are good to start learning how to trade between Bitcoin and Altcoin?

Bittrex is a good platform for trading purposes. But i don't think you should go to a exchange directly, in order to learn how to trade, because you need to somehow know how trading works and then you should head towards an exchange to try out what you have learnt. If you are totally new to trading, i would suggest you to do some googling and learn the basics first, so that you don't waste your money on pump and dump coins which are never worthy to invest and people lose a lot of money in them sometimes. So be careful, as trading is not an easy thing to do unless you are an expert in it.
483  Economy / Economics / Re: what will happen to banks? on: October 12, 2017, 10:57:13 AM
Right now in the world, there are more believers of banks than there are for Bitcoins. So the thought of what might happen to banks once bitcoin makes the fees disappear needs to be postponed a bit, because i don't see the whole wide world leaving banks and using bitcoin by tomorrow. We are still very far away from that state. And we should raise such things in our mind only when we see that bitcoin has reached almost everywhere, but that is not the case right now.

Please don't just post in gambling discussion, trading discussion, bitcoin discussion and economics. Everyone who has been denied has only been posting there and that is the main reason you were denied.

You should not see the General Statistics only, because that is about past as well. I have been told this thing before as well, and because of that, i'm trying to post in multiple sections, and you can see that thing if you manually see my recent posts. I haven't been posting in just these sections lately, and i think you rejected me because of my General Statistics.

490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever won a prize in Freebitco.in Lottery? If yes, how much? on: October 10, 2017, 02:27:20 PM
Yes, I won a small BTC prize, but I understand, that there are a lot of red lines. So if you wanna make good win, you need very good balance, let say 2 Bitcoins and then you can either win small amount or loose all your balance - 2 Bitcoins. So it is very risky to play there, but some people already made good win, as you can find in their website. Wink

Obviously, because there are a very large number of tickets, and even if you buy tickets with a very big amount, you will still have very less chances of winning. Lotteries are also a part of gambling, you put money in it, either you win big, or you win nothing.

very time consuming for very less

I personally don't find it time consuming at all. I don't give it much time, i just do a free-roll every time i remember it, and buy tickets with the satoshis of that free roll, and wait every week to see if i get lucky or not, i never got lucky yet Grin

Any update about payments?
492  Economy / Speculation / Re: A great day for Bitcoin on: October 09, 2017, 02:21:14 PM
Obviously. People usually think, by seeing the price at this point that they are late for investing in bitcoin, but i think they are wrong. It is never late to be a investor in bitcoin because the process is still continued. And if the price reached here today, it can surely go far higher tomorrow. Though the investors missed the chance of earning for once, but they always have the chance as long as bitcoin is below 10k mark. Because 10k for bitcoin is reachable for sure.
493  Economy / Economics / Re: Would bitcoin help teach kids about saving? on: October 09, 2017, 02:10:24 PM
It can be good for anyone, as long as they can understand the ideology of it. And maybe for kids, it would be quite difficult to know all the things, or to keep patience as much as needed for bitcoin. Because bitcoin does not always make you happy, but sometimes it can make you worry as well when the price starts dropping. A new person to it, specially a kid might start panicking immediately after seeing something like this. So if a kid can take all these things, then why not?
494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining software for Android on: October 09, 2017, 11:56:47 AM
I don't think so. And even if there is any, they will probably be a waste of time. A smartphone cannot earn you a lot of money by mining. People may create various applications naming them miners but they do this just to get some downloads for their applications but the applications do not generate any profit for the user. I have tried a lot of them already, and believe me, you better think of something else.
495  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you expect a crash soon ? Or you see bitcoin keep climbing ? on: October 09, 2017, 11:37:25 AM
I ofcourse have both feelings deep within, feeling of crash and of rise as well, but i just don't want to be negative at all, so i don't expect that bitcoin's price will crash again very soon. Currently, bitcoin is in a good position, not leaving its pace, constantly growing with a very small speed but it is acceptable, as long as it is not going down. So i just expect it to go higher and cross $5k mark before the end of this year, and maybe we will see it touching $6k in the first few months of 2018, which will be icing on the cake.
496  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: 7 People arrested for Bitcoin Trading on: October 09, 2017, 11:28:45 AM
It's the latest in development from the country of Nepal which started nabbing bitcoin traders for fraud. Can be sentenced to upto 3 years in prison.

http://kathmandupost.ekantipur.com/news/2017-10-06/7-nabbed-for-running-bitcoin-exchange-business.html

First case of bitcoin related arrest in the country.

The story is totally different from what your title states. They are not arrested for trading bitcoin, but they are arrested for illegally running a bitcoin exchange in the country which would not be allowed in any country, and anyone would get arrested if authorities come to know that some people are running an exchange without any license and legality. It should not be a surprise for them, nor for the people hearing the news. And they should have been expecting this to happen, because running a bitcoin exchange is quite a big business these days, and if you try to do it hiding behind walls, this is what you can expect when it comes to the sight.
497  Economy / Services / Re: ⛏ Ice Rock Mining Signature & Avatar Campaign ⛏ [NEED HERO/LEGENDARY] on: October 09, 2017, 11:22:09 AM
Hi aTriz. I'm currently enrolled in Synapse campaign, which is being managed by you too, and i have been promoted to Hero member for more than a week now, but as there are no Hero spots in that campaign so i'm still running as a Sr. member. Tomorrow is the payday for that campaign, and if, there aren't any Hero spots open after the payments, i would like to join this campaign as a Hero member. Let me know if i can be eligible for it.
Thanks.
498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: 5 ETH big give away with tokentops.com on: October 09, 2017, 11:14:59 AM
There are a lot of scam campaigns now a days in the forum. They make people advertise their service and go away without paying anyone. So no one should join a campaign unless the funds are escrowed, otherwise you will just do all the work and get nothing in return.
OP, escrow the funds and we will participate in this contest for sure. You can obviously afford an escrow if you are giving away 5 ETH as reward to people.
499  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Schools Are Officially Accepting Bitcoin for Tuition on: October 08, 2017, 01:20:30 PM
Good to know that Bitcoin is getting more acceptance with the time, and it is a very positive sign for the success of Bitcoin in coming time.
I wish institutes in here would accept bitcoin as payment too, so that i wouldn't have to turn them to cash and then pay my tuition fees with it. But unfortunately, in my country, i can't even find a person knowing about bitcoin. It is very rare, or maybe not so rare but there is no way to know if someone is using bitcoin around you.
