482  Economy / Speculation / Re: The biggest bitcoin crash ever has begun. on: August 13, 2017, 11:03:27 PM
There will come a time like the end of May when the dip won't be bought -- I plan to buy a few days into that crash

And if the chain reorganizes before November stealing all the BTC you recently purchased on a dip?
483  Economy / Speculation / Re: The biggest bitcoin crash ever has begun. on: August 13, 2017, 09:34:59 PM
It's not crashing.

Believe in any delusion of your choice. Facts are facts. Bitcoin will not be able to survive anywhere near this price level with the upcoming hard fork. Now this is still some time away but before that the whales will take their profits more than ever before because this split can be and probably will be a great disaster. If you deny this you are intentionally deceiving attempting to deceive ignorant people into buying more into the pump.

I believe @kwukduck is referring to a dire warning which is explained here, here, here, and here.

484  Economy / Speculation / Re: Old hands, what is your current engagement level? on: August 13, 2017, 05:10:38 PM
that guy categorically stated segwit would never be allowed to happen on bitcoin and litecoin would soar. litecoin did pretty good. segwit arrived.

He stated that Bitcoin will never get SegWit, which he seems to maintain is still the case.
He claims the SegWit fork is an altcoin which is going to die a fiery death as the SegWit transactions that have accumulated will eventually be stolen by the miners when they reorganize the chain and enforce the Satoshi's protocol which enables stealing SegWit transactions.
He has even positing a wild theory that perhaps BCC/BCH is a Trojan horse that enables Bitmain to surreptiously steal back all the BTC that being gained from trading BCC/BCH for BTC.
In his theory, this would finance the massive long-range chain reorganization, making it profitable and attractive.

Afaiu he claims that TRB will be Satoshi's 1MB no SegWit (real) Bitcoin. Thus, you only think that BTC has Segwit.
And afaiu TRB might accept SegWit but so that miners can spend all SegWit to themselves.

So don't spread lies if:
I have zero technical knowledge.
485  Economy / Speculation / Re: Old hands, what is your current engagement level? on: August 13, 2017, 12:48:27 PM
An old hand who advised @rpietila to buy at $10 in early 2013, has expressed his engagement level in a warning and prediction.
One of the predictions was already realized.
The warning remains.
486  Economy / Economics / Re: Martin Armstrong Discussion on: August 13, 2017, 03:51:28 AM
The finch is on my window sill.
How wonderfully anti-correlated BTC and LTC at this magnificent juncture.
Couldn’t be more perfectly scripted. Do not look a gift horse in the mouth.
Take the trade!
Couldn’t be more perfectly scripted as predicted in advance.

Coinomi appears to work for splitting BTC to Bitcoin Cash if instructions below are followed and also for trading on ShapeShift inside the wallet. It can be installed from Playstore and the security is backed up by 12 english words written down on paper.

487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Monero, Dash and all anon coins fucked? on: August 12, 2017, 03:10:02 PM
Kovri is almost here. Hide IP program that will be part of Monero.

He wrote that low-latency onion routing such as Tor and I2P are honeypots.
Why is Monero adding another alleged honeypot technology to their existing alleged honeypot technology?
Whose “expertise” can we trust on any of this?
488  Economy / Economics / Re: Martin Armstrong Discussion on: August 11, 2017, 05:09:57 PM
Mr. Armstrong; I attended the Paris conference of the BIS when you were the keynote speaker.
You delivered a forecast that was probably too far ahead for its time.
You said the euro would go through and it would first drop but then peak with deflation in 2008 after the markets crash from 2007.
You elaborated saying currency rises during a crash when people run to cash.
You also said the euro would then decline for 13 years into 2021 before a new system will emerge.

That stuck in my mind and I watched it fall then rally into 2008 and the crash of 2007 you forecast some 10 years in advance.
My question is simply this. You said, if I remember correctly, that the dollar would soar thereafter and we would see another monetary crisis as we did in 1985.

The Australian government is looking to impose penalties if a consumer pays cash and FAILS to get a receipt so they can end the underground economy.
They are expecting to change the culture by forcing consumers to ask for a fiscal receipts when paying cash for anything.
Now the Australian government has moved beyond eliminating cash, they seek to punish people who pay in cash.

This anti-free society the Australian government is establishing is just off the charts.
They have set up a Black Economy Taskforce to hunt down their own citizens.
This is becoming very dangerous. Can you imagine a government stalking your children?
This gestapo agency is indeed spying on its own citizens in every aspect just as did the NAZI government in Germany.
They have put forth 35 recommendations contained in the interim report where they are arguing the need for “consumer-focused action” to crack down on cash payments.

@iamback documented that MA was framed

No war with N.Korea imminent:

Just saber rattling from N.Korea in order to provocate nationalism and justify increase totalitarianism internally within the country to restrain any coups or democracy movements internally.

Yesterday, Verge Dev proofed on Twitter that Monero user-IPs can be found in the network.. I think Monero is going down.

In that blog he dismissed Verge as also being onion routing same as Tor/I2P which are known honeypots.

But on a pure speculative analysis, the XVG chart appears to be in a wedge that is nearing its big move.
Could Verge be the beneficiary of a Monero decline given that Zcash is just too damn slow for payments (up to minutes)?
As I understand it, he had proposed a different way of using the zkSNARKs to make it fast for real-time payments in his project.
If he is correct about Verge onion routing technology being not suitable, then perhaps it will just be a pump that will not sustain?

491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Monero, Dash and all anon coins fucked? on: August 08, 2017, 06:27:47 PM
Monero, Dash, Zcash and altcoin anonymous are best coin for UG market, why the price of them can't increasing when Bitcoin is fresh cryptocurrency? I don't know the reason the price of them still cheap

No growth in adoption? No surge to keep price moving up. Dark markets likely have a lower ceiling and aren’t likely a growth market, beause illegality doesn’t have good network effects.
When 0.5% of the (criminally inclined) population is trying to network with each other, economies-of-scale are low. Why do ya think Dash branched out into “instant payments”.

Monero stand still the price 0.015 in long time

Did you see this:

Quote
Buy the rumor, sell the news of the RingCT spike (see chart) upgrade.
Pattern of 2014 spike and crash to 2015 lows appears to be repeating. Should drop to 0.005 BTC eventually (may have one more spike up first):

492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Monero, Dash and all anon coins fucked? on: August 08, 2017, 05:27:20 PM
seems the only place Monero can go is downward.

Markets can remain irrational for longer than the short can remain solvent.

Burst didn't collapse after this post for example.
It went down tho.

More indicators from MA that the time is approaching (if not already) to temporarily sell high risk speculations (e.g. gold, crypto, assets outside the USA, non-dollar currencies, and bonds) and buy the dollar and US stocks:

https://www.armstrongeconomics.com/armstrongeconomics101/training-tools/us-share-market-broad-overvaluation-index-one-of-the-best-leading-indicators-we-have-ever-created/

…the beginning of the most important event perhaps in our lifetime that stands on the event horizon to begin in 2018. We have nearly reached our second target on the Dow Jones Industrial Index – 23,000. They laughed at our forecast back in 2011 that the Dow would make new highs.

After we break through 23,000 for the DJIA, the next level is 30,000 - 40,000. In other words, the short dollar vortex Phase Transition is almost ready to begin.

Monero receives a more fair treatment in this comment:

495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BitcoinCash a joke? on: August 06, 2017, 01:49:18 PM
Is someone's (not mine) speculation of $1000 and perhaps roughly 0.25 - 0.33 BTC going to be a joke and who is the joke on?

496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the future of Bitcoin Cash vs Bitcoin? on: August 06, 2017, 01:27:18 PM
the point is Bitcoin cash doesn't even have any attempt at anomity.

Fair enough. But is that the point of BitcoinCash?

Did you read my prior comment where someone (not me) posits that the objective being to steal BTC via a third "fork"?

497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the future of Bitcoin Cash vs Bitcoin? on: August 06, 2017, 01:06:19 PM

Being a physically used crypto (buying coffee, food, cab rides) was already perfected by Dash with instant TX and the ability to be anonymous like cash.

Incorrect.
498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BitcoinCash a joke? on: August 06, 2017, 12:53:27 PM

Is BitcoinCash a joke?

Is the joke on the security of our BTC wallets?
499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FINALLY SOLD MY BITCOIN CASH! STEP BY STEP GUIDE on: August 06, 2017, 12:44:22 PM
Is that true ,coinbase support bcash?

No. And they have no plans to add support for Bitcoin Cash.

They have plans:

We are planning to have support for bitcoin cash by January 1, 2018, assuming no additional risks emerge during that time.

What is the future of Bitcoin Cash vs Bitcoin?

A third "fork" that no one is expecting which steals a lot of BTC??

What do you think of that?! Crazy?
