481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [Bounty] PayFrequent Bounty Maintain By RK Group. Continue Your work here ★ on: July 17, 2020, 06:42:49 AM

Please check thread now. Already updated Bounty pool.

Its looks like you are inexperienced for managing a campaign you add the a bounty pool but it never mention how many % you give for every campaign. Are you planning to make all of the campaign give equal rewards and you will only divided all base on the stakes.

Don't forget that other campaign can only join once like article and video campaign.
482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Three phases bounty distribution on: July 16, 2020, 02:11:53 PM
It's a good thing that few bounty managers are now limiting participants for bounties but another problem I'm bounty projects are dumps, one way that bounty managers can help to avoid dump is three phase distribution, many would probably hate this but c'mon we all want good $$$ from projects we promoted right? Controlling dump this way works, what do you think? I've seen bubbalex doing this and even COVIR that plan to use bitforex to raise funds plan to distribute tokens in three phases
It will help to reduce the coins they can sell in bulk one time when they receive the payment. But if you only get small payment why its need to have 3 phase ?

The idea is good ,but that's not enough if the owner really want that the tokens/coins they are selling will not be affected by bounty hunters .then, use other coins to paid bounty participants instead of their own coins in that case only investors are able to sell and trade  their coins .
483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BINANCE,GEMINI,CZ,COINBASE TWITTER IS HACKED!! on: July 16, 2020, 09:17:02 AM
It's easy to see, there's nothing free in this market. Hopefully no one will foolishly trust these posts and send money to those addresses. BTW I see they have restored their accounts, those posts have been deleted

so far i checked on the address that they are using for this scam, the hacker already received about 12 bitcoin or worth  $117,361.10 USDT which its very crazy that he can collect that big fund within hour for hacking verified twitter account and spread the fake tweet.

scammer address could be tracked here :
https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/bc1qxy2kgdygjrsqtzq2n0yrf2493p83kkfjhx0wlh

because those people that send money think that the tweet they see is legitimate because it came from original account. Even how good to be true they said it as long as they trusted it they will send money to that address, and they don't know that Twitter account is hacked.

Its  a lesson to be learn for big exchange to secure everything not only their exchange but the account connected in them in different platform they used.

486  Other / Meta / Re: Where to post asking if anyone is interested in starting a "project" together? on: July 15, 2020, 07:23:25 AM

I don't want to get into trouble, but I've search and search and I am not exactly sure where to post a few questions (and ideas) about a project I've been thinking about starting. I'm not really recruiting anyone, but I want to toss around a few ideas and get some feedback, maybe form a "exploratory" team (If that can be done).

Of course the board rules come first.

this is the right section if you want to talk about your ideas since this section can talk all about related to altcoins and you want to ask something related to it , and you are planning to make your own Altcoin.

You can also share idea and other members opinion about your project idea in this section so you  can start it right away now if that's you are planning, or just change the title and edit the discussion  you want to discuss so you don't need to create a new thread.
487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do any casinos offer cryptocurrency staking? on: July 14, 2020, 03:25:20 PM
Staking is not that risky specially if you are betting in sites that is stable and known in this forum because the possibilities of scamming is not part of their game.

We never know until it happen, though they are very successful but we don't control them, we let our money sit in their platform so anytime they quite or scam us, everything will be gone. I am also not so familiar with staking in a casino but investing alone is already risky, staking is another risky thing.

Anyway, everyone of us has our own way of managing the risk, so I don't want to judge here, just commenting base on my opinion.

Yes, because you need to stay the balance on that gambling site for long to earn interest for your staking crypto . Its have the same risk investing in exchange which  you don't know if they have a plan on scamming people or until when they can sustain to give interest to people . Since its gambling there is also possibility  that the gambling can also lost its the same as you invest in bankroll.
488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are Ads on Coinmarketcap Legitimate? on: July 14, 2020, 10:11:57 AM
We often see coinmarketcap has lots of ads like advertisements that say give ETH bonuses and so on. Because now Coinmarketcap is owned by CZ, do they research that project or only accept money without doing research?

No, not all of the ads that you can see there is legitimate so don't just trust any ads that popup in that website. Its paid ads and that how coinmarketcap earn from visitors of the website there is also legitimate but not all because CMC don't review any ads that you can see there.
489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinbase wallet without KYC as long as you do not buy/sell crypto? on: July 14, 2020, 06:37:58 AM
Is a KYC necessary for the regular registration of a Coinbase wallet?
I mean for a wallet that is only used for receiving and sending Bitcoin and not for buying or selling Bitcoin?
I could not find a clear distinction on the Coinbase page or in the FAQ.

I am user's of coinbase long time ago until they make it mandatory to have KYC so ill never login my account until then.

If you are just planning to use coinbase for storing crypto  then, why not try coinomi or mycelium it's a better option than coinbase.you also do not need to make a kyc and more secure because you are the one who secured the keys or passphrase of the wallet and you know that you are the only person  in control on that wallet.
490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: TikTok is a new social media source for promoting cryptocurrencies? on: July 13, 2020, 02:08:46 PM
even though that might be true but the challanges like that will only temporarily increase the price, tiktok users are mainly young people and maybe highschooler at that, they are just doing the challanges for fun and then cash their money out when the fun is gone which means massive dump after massive pump. You just should never expect something from tiktok, this platform only good to advertise things other than financial related matter.
I don't see any reasons why it will increase its price since they are only making a challenge which we don't know if it will add any new investors to doge coins.

Others will just wonder what the doge is but you can not tell if they can be  a potential investors or it would add any buyers to that currency after having that challenge. It helps if you have an advertisement that can be seen  on that app instead  of having a challenge .
491  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Need Help. bitcoin confirmed but recipient not received on: July 13, 2020, 08:19:03 AM
This has been going on for a week now. I have sent some bitcoin to a cloud mining company about a week ago. I have checked on blockchain explorer and it is confirmed. I have also checked the address a billion times and it is correct. I spoke with my wallet company to understand and make sure everything on their end is good. The company is saying the did see the transaction leave the blockchain but it didn't make it to their wallet and the transaction will be reversed back to my wallet. Does this sound right? If so how long does this usually take? They say they can't do anything as it up to the blockchain. Like said its been a week. I know things happen. Is my bitcoin gone? Thanks for the help.

Can you drop the transaction I'd so we can see if its really confirmed or not.

If its already a week since you send it, then its totally gone and there is no way it will back to your wallet  , the one you send the balance is the cloud mining website did I understand it right?
If its confirmed already then its already on the wallet where you send it.
492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New project with new mining system on: July 13, 2020, 03:45:55 AM

All projects that use Pos aim to raise the value of the currency by withdrawing it from the market, but our project will raise the price of the currency without the need for POS The goal of the new system is to raise the price of the token and give options to the investor (selling the token or taking profits from it)

How will you raise the price how will you a sure this things to investors?. Without a plan I don't think it will work , I also invested in many pos before and give only a good return in short time but in long run you will also feel the lost of it and that's why i can say its not good as what you think it is. Only the top crypto currency like dash can sustain  the increase of supply. It's easy to say it will increase but it hard to happen when you are in the real market. all of the token holders will surely sell all the interest they earn every time they receive it in their wallet . Then how do you think you can hold it in that price?
493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Information about mobile wallet pls on: July 12, 2020, 03:06:53 PM
Where could be a lot of good options. Coinomi, exodus, ownr wallet, jaxx, etc

Trust wallet stands out, I see no reason for installing many wallets on my device after I started using trustwallet. I like the fact that its a multiwallet and the DAPP section is just so amazing, I can access AAVE and uniswap via the DAPP section. Also it's somewhat safer since its backed by Binance.

coinomi also have the same option of wallet you can also open different wallet there such as btc, eth,or xrp and many popular coins, I don't know if its possible to also receive a tokens in that wallet that's not yet supported by them  . But if you are eth supporters that want to store many tokens, then its better to create your own ethereum wallet using myetherwallet.
494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Warning Exodus Wallet SCAM on Google Play! on: July 12, 2020, 08:42:50 AM

Review can be fake on the google play store or the project owner can use an airdrop which will make people do hype review about the project. However, the topic used by the OP seems to be misleading because it was pointing to exodus wallet not the scammer and even if the wallet downloaded is genuine, mobile wallet is among vulnerable wallet.
In the meantime, the OP himself can save others from been the victim of this scammer by making negative review about it on playstore while he report the situation to real Exodus wallet team.

Its point to the application scam wallet which is he use to store his btc a fake wallet.

The application is down already and we can't see  it in Google play  it's a good so no one else to fall victim to this fake application.

Google should be sensitive for everyapplication develop to the platform before accepting it to be available in Google play store so the platform will not be used for future scam.

495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Dogecoin prices crash if TikTok continues to get banned? on: July 12, 2020, 05:51:09 AM
Doge has ATH long ago, not for Tiktok hype. It has crossed 100 sats even in a bearish season. Then why due to the tiktok ban in some countries will affect it so harsh? It's true that it will have some dump which was speculated before the start of the pump since it was made by some people in order to make some quick cash.

I don't find any relation with Tiktok and doge coins so I don't see that banning will actually  affect doge coins price . Unless it is also one of the product doge have which is I know its not .maybe some influencer promoting doge coins in that application.

The tiktok ban for many countries is for security reasons They just do not want anyone to spy on them using an application made in China.
496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: COVID19 and Its effect on Bitcoin & Altcoin Price? Your Thoughts ! on: July 11, 2020, 01:21:22 PM
Yep it's unbelievable the price of bitcoin was increasing while we are at global pandemic, I guess people want to have an extra income in internet and bitcoin was their choice to earn some money. If there is no pandemic I'm sure the price of bitcoin will surge.
many is prefer to use online transaction right now even government agencies want to adopt  this technology this is the reasons why this pandemic can also help the bitcoin price increase instead of dropping.
They also want avoid using banknotes to avoid direct contact with anyone And the disease will never spread further with the online payment method.

499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Warning ANN Thread Designers on: July 10, 2020, 03:12:08 PM
Thank you very much in your replies guys. Yes I admit I am a little bit careless. I thought whatever I am doing is just fine as I have been creating crypto designs since 2016 without any issue like this. Never knew you might get flag from creating design from a client that have a plagiarized whitepaper. Seriously did you ever check each of your client's whitepaper if they plagiarized it?

I actually Google the clients coin and there is no occurrence in bitcointalk from the past, so I thought its safe.

Too late, reputation hungry people already accused me and gave me a negative trust.

Lesson learned:
1. Never post client's ANN thread you created using your Bitcointalk account, any accusation they might receive in the future might be link to you.
2. Require them to buy copper membership account
3. Learn how to identify your client.

Well congratulations  its look like the issue you get has been solved already .

Your account doesn't have anymore negative trust its already remove by DT members. luckily they get you a chance to be back on track with your service. But it's a lesson learn I hope that the mistake you do will never happen again to you.
500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Warning Exodus Wallet SCAM on Google Play! on: July 10, 2020, 11:20:06 AM
I check the review of the application its look likes they got a good ratings there .

But its looks like just fake rating you should also give negative rate and give feedback to the app so they will not have any victim again.

For download they only got 50  download as of today so its only means this is just a new application make in app store,.

You should always be aware about simple things like how many people use the app before using it or transferring your money.
