1161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptopia SCAM on: February 24, 2018, 12:10:21 PM
Watch out for Cryptopia!!!!
I have traded many times at different exchanges but at Cryptopia: now no credit 3 times in a row.
They steal your money!
They do not credit your account and do NOT respond at Twitter or email.

Get proof so that i will believe you not me but any body here at furom will believe you just get screenshoot or any idea that will people believe you.
1162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes an altcoin valueable? on: February 23, 2018, 12:36:31 PM
I think the most important are:

1. The product - What is the concept? It is useful or not?
2. The team - Are they experienced and well know?
3. The popularity - How popular is going to be?
Yes all of them are good but i think it is good also to be unity to there project it will sold quick.
1163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can world Government Kill Crypto? on: February 23, 2018, 05:30:09 AM
"Regardless, just because South Korea, China, the US and other countries can crush Bitcoin by issuing new regulations and influencing cryptocurrency prices, it doesn’t mean they can kill it".  The above quote is from the research information I got when I was trying to find out why world government is fighting crypto. Please read the full text here: https://www.ccn.com/fighting-bitcoin-cryptocurrency-trading-threat-government-policies/ and make your own contributions. It will help cool the nerves from the crypto dip we are experiencing recently. Happy reading. Thanks
It depend to them if what is the reason why they kill crypto, but i think they also use this to earn big money so no need to kill crypto if they used also.
1164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin bleeding. When does it stop on: February 23, 2018, 02:16:49 AM

1165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: shitcoin and what truly has potential? on: February 22, 2018, 08:45:26 AM
do you have any strategies for identifying what's a shitcoin and what truly has potential? What's worked for you? Can you smell shit a mile away or do you have to get into it before you figure out what you're involved in?
It depends on the people what strategy they use to know what is the shit coin, but i think we dont know what is the shitcoin if you dont inter or make research from the project were you are interested to join.
1166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can MyEtherWallet be hacked? on: February 22, 2018, 04:31:10 AM
Hi guys!
I’ll tell you what I think.
I'm feeling anxious about MEW security.
If we change some characters of Mew prative key, we will get to anather wallet.
Exampe:
Prative key wallet 1: a1e57f1422ae77c1c51f1626d6cbd6ad376f184976a0e83b430ed7e8c66e998d

Prative key wallet 2: a1e57f1422de77c1c51f1623d6cbd6ad376f184976a0e83b430ed7e8c66e998d

After i change characters on wallet 1 a = d & 6 = 3, i get wallet 2.

Question is, can MEW be hacked easily? This can be dangerous for investors.
And why MyEtherWallet not connect to 2FA? This is a good measure to protect our wallet.
Guys, What do you think about this?

Its good to dont change password unless you dont share your key from the other, be careful always.
1167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook against bitcoin? on: February 21, 2018, 10:51:16 PM
Because they believe that Facebook prohibits bitcoin and ICos and other cryptocurrency
The new Facebook policy will not allow announcements of known digital currency exchanges or initial offers of currencies.
Is it to avoid fraud or false advertising? That's why?
It is proticting the people from the scam so that they advertisment from the social media and to avoid any problem.
1168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram ICO is real or fake? on: February 20, 2018, 10:39:03 PM
Hi guys, You can there is a website ton.fund which is rugging ICO for telegram GRAM token (as claimed by the website) User don't have to create an account it can be done through telegram username so it appears like real ICO.
BUT
there is not much info on the internet about it. There are articles stating that its a scam also no authentic info from telegram. Please let me know your opinion on this.

I think telegram and ico is real, if you choose and make research for it, dont inter if you dont research first.
1169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to distinguish between a real ICO and all the scam? on: February 20, 2018, 12:46:14 PM
So one of my inboxes gets plastered with ICO announcements which I always have considered scam and didn't even take a look.

Is it just to investigate here on the forum, or is there a trusted website that informs about legit ICOs and recommendations?

How do you even come to a decision in which ICOs you want to participate with the vast amount of new alt tokens that spring up like mushrooms all the time?
If you are particioating ico you need to make research there wibsite ,and the team ico they have if you see good project that is real and not a scam.
1170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs still worth the tussle?? on: February 20, 2018, 11:10:19 AM

ICOs has being the hot cake for crypto investors in recent times and this has seen whitelists and crowdsales getting saturated up within minutes of opening.

In the process of projects hitting their hardcap early, some investors will have their funds stuck and will have to wait days sometimes weeks to get a refund.

So here's my question; are ICOs still worth the hustle and tussle or is it better off to get coins/tokens on the exchange?
Ico is still worth but some of them are scammer so of you invest in ico just choose carefully to avoid scam.
1171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do you day trade or prefer a long term hold? on: February 20, 2018, 05:50:12 AM
So I'm slowly going into crypto and I want to know if any of you trade altcoins daily, or you prefer to hold it for long term? What do you think it's better and why?

Thanks
It depends to the coin that need to sell, and the other coin well hold it.
1172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin $20k by July according to Tom Lee on: February 20, 2018, 12:20:07 AM
Do you agree? I think it seems pretty realistic, considering how well it's doing right now.

http://tkcryptos.com/bitcoin-20-000-july-says-tom-lee/
Must better to wait if what is the exactly rise of btc in the july because some people are expecting that.
1173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best ICOs of Feb/March? on: February 19, 2018, 01:35:26 PM
Hey guys, looking for some ICOs that are tech related for Feb/March.
If anyone has some great Ideas shoot them right over here.
All the suggestion that they share to you is to make research to see and to know what is the best ico to the month of feb and march.
1174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to check if ICO is scam or not? on: February 19, 2018, 12:52:31 PM
Hey guys, I'm new to the whole ICO world, and BTCtalk as well. I've been reading about a lot of scammy ICOs that take people's money and run away. I'm looking to invest in a couple of ICOs but have no way of knowing if they are good or not. Can anyone tell me how I can go about doing this without losing any money?
If you see ico's dont invest if you dont read, before you invest read it the white paper look if how many people are included in the project so that you will see if the ico is good or not.
1175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Campaign on: February 18, 2018, 10:07:17 PM
Though I'm not new to Cryptos, never paid attention on any Bounty campaigns and how they work.  Wonder can someone point me to the right info on where to start and how they claim/get tokens?

How many tokens one typically gets through the campaign?
what parameters dictate good campaigner to bad one?
I think all the suggestion is there so , what would you do is to find good bounty to paY your token and be careful to choose.
1176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The opinion about some ICO on: February 18, 2018, 02:14:49 AM
Today more & more appear ICОs, that lock tokens for a long time. So, you pay money, get or not get tokens, which will go into circulation in 6 or 9 months. What do you think about it? I'm not talking about bounty or airdrops. I'm talking about the purchased token for real money.
Yes, the project may be good, but wait 9 months. Do you think it really worth waiting so long time?

It depends to the project that they invest, if you are good invest more profit you may reseve, and better to choose ico to make worth it.
1177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrop coin and tokan..........sell or hold........ on: February 17, 2018, 09:35:41 AM
I got a lot of coins in the last month.

 They should sell or hold

Because The value of a lot of coin is very low, like the Rebel and btw.

please suggest
It bitter to wait for a while and look the next day if the value will high, because we dont know what will happen next day, and other day.
1178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will ICOs die? on: February 15, 2018, 09:42:58 AM
Recently learned that more and more ICOs are closing deals through private sales and merely airdropping the coins. Will ICOs die, when will it?
Ico will never die it depend that to the people who are participatung for ico, because some ico are good, but you need to choose wisely.
1179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do i sell my altcoins? on: February 15, 2018, 02:18:12 AM
Hello guys i got really lucky and some of my altcoins received from airdrops have gained value.I want to sell it at its market price.Where can i sell it at its best price?
Also i am confused as to hold or sell the coins. The coins which i possess are at its initial stages so will its value increase with time or should i sell it now.Two of the coins are REBL and EQL.
First you need to understand where these tokens are being sold, you need to look at the information on the coinmarketcap, if there is not your token there, then you need to wait when there are stock exchanges. If your token is based on the ether platform, then you can immediately sell it on the EtherDelta exchange
Yes he need to make research first, because the token he have is from the airdrop, just look if the coin has value for you to know. And to understand.
1180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you like airdrops? on: February 13, 2018, 04:57:34 AM
Hello guys!  Wink

Today I wanted to ask you, what do you think about airdrops?

As for me, I work in the KickCity project and recently we launched airdrop. I do really like the result! We have a lot of newcomers and new people who are interested in the company. If you want to join you can ask the team in the community https://t.me/kickcity_chat

SO  Shocked

Are you taking part in airdrops? Do you like the result? What is the feedback?
Or maybe you are working in a project launching airdrop?
We all know that is free coin but not all airdrop is good.. Thats why we need to choose good to make worth it and easy to earn money.
