481  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to improve the usability of bitcoin? on: February 29, 2020, 12:00:05 AM
This is a new innovation, all things related to cryptocurrency are very closely related to the internet, gadgets, and the like. This is very effective for millennials, who are easy to accept and adapt to technological developments. As for the older generation, this will be difficult to understand and learn. If we look at the side for the millennial generation, the progress so far is very good, this decade has shown very significant developments, especially from price developments. Meanwhile, in terms of utility for broad adoption, many personalities can become banks for themselves without a third party, although it is difficult to be widely accepted. So for me this is good enough, slowly but surely. Online shopping trends are also slowly adopting cryptocurrency, the weakness may only be in the volume, the rest is quite perfect I think.
482  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency vs. Fiat currency. on: February 28, 2020, 11:51:01 PM
Cryptocurrency vs. Fiat currency, which of the two do you think better? There so many differences between those two kinds of currency, but what currency do you prefer more, what currency suits your wants and needs,
I like both, it is very difficult to determine which is better because for me both have their respective functions and advantages. For economic activities in the real world I always use fiat, it is more effective because the adoption of cryptocurrency for payment of daily needs where I have not been seen, after all, making payments for micropayments is more effective with fiat. Whereas I make cryptocurrency as an alternative job to get money, from trading and bounty.
483  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin hitting its steady price? on: February 28, 2020, 11:31:58 PM
Too risky I think. Excessive expectations often affect the analysis, it is better to take a middle ground. Hopefully, but many things can change and happen unexpectedly. Just look at the price movements of bitcoin this month, quite wild, huh? unexpected ups and downs even though there are no strong news or numbers. Approaching halving is still not too significant changes in price, I hope the flash pump will come soon.
484  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin The Best Safe-haven In The Wake of Financial Crisis? on: February 28, 2020, 11:25:19 PM
Bitcoin came as a currency but it has been treated as a speculative product due to its continuous fluctuations. BTC is gradually losing its supremacy in the crypto currency market, but yes it will bounce back more harder than before.

Crypto is extremely risky because of its volatility, So for me it's not the best safe-haven when it comes to financial crisis.
That's right, it's too risky, but looking at the history of this decade, the price of bitcoin tends to rise and multiply. It could one day become more valuable, even vice versa, worth the high risk. We must prepare mentally, not only ready to profit but also must be prepared to lose.
485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin a failed experiment? on: February 27, 2020, 09:08:16 PM
After reading the topic of the OP and the responses from other members, I came to the conclusion that the OP did not understand the cryptocurrency ecosystem well. I thought the OP was experiencing an unsuccessful experiment to get instant wealth with BTC, then complained with its unfounded analysis. For those who already understand the BTC ecosystem, certainly will not give up easily with price reductions, especially if they have committed to long-term investment, BTC travel for the past 10 years can be an important lesson for not giving up easily. Hopefully, for new investors who want to study this ecosystem better, nothing is instant, don't trust unclear signals, let alone those offering will multiply your capital at certain times.
486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin halving make cryptocurrencies reach all time high again? on: February 27, 2020, 08:51:12 PM
Of course. Moreover, this is not the first halving, so we can analyze from the halving moment in previous periods. Proved that halving BTC had a significant impact, the big pump came, making most of the altcoins also reach record high prices.
Cryptocurrency is full of unpredictability, if there is an opportunity to increase many times over, the opposite opportunity also has the same percentage, can become increasingly worthless, so we must always monitor price movements and read news and rumors circulating. Besides BTC halving, there are also another coin halving which are also important to note:
487  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is getting more adopted in my Country on: February 25, 2020, 11:39:45 PM
In my country there are already a few bitcoin ATM, although only in two big cities, but it has added more, but I forget how many bitcoin ATM there are and that's more than two ATM. This is an extraordinary development and our government will also legalize bitcoin, but this is only their conversation (officials) the realization is not yet if I'm not mistaken.
Are you also interested in using the bitcoin ATM?

Although I have never seen it directly, I assume that the presence of a bitcoin ATM is a realization of the high use and transactions using bitcoin in the country. So as to support that effectiveness, a bitcoin ATM is provided. It also shows that the adoption of bitcoin is more widespread.
488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why we have slow steps about convincing governments to accept bitcoin? on: February 25, 2020, 11:05:27 PM
Yes, it's very impossible to happen since the government is very traditional, they can't easily adapt to the changes in our technology.

I really hate the fact that the government has departments that focuses on science and technology but less attention given to it, and more likely they don't want technology advances in the country.

But when it comes to advance in the military, they adapt it really fast. So weird...
However as good citizens we must follow government regulations. Transparency, which is one of the advantages of cryptocurrency, seems to go backwards with the government, so that makes it quite slow to accept, in my opinion. As long as the government still provides concessions for the use of cryptocurrency as long as it does not interfere with government-controlled economic activities, that alone makes me grateful, at least not completely banned. So we have to really understand the law, which is prohibited and allowed. The government is also open to cryptocurrency because this is an extraordinary technological progress, it's just that most governments are still rethinking the bad side so that some have given certain regulations.
489  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Simpsons talks about Cryptocurrency on: February 25, 2020, 10:51:41 PM
The Simpsons have already predicted many things correctly, even if it is only an animated series. I wouldn't be surprised if they were right about bitcoin and it would be the money of the future. Either way, it's cool that the Simpsons are crypto-friendly. Even Peter of Family Guy knows bitcoin, as you can see in this video.  Smiley  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6HFtk29k7-Y
I still keep thinking, is that just a coincidence? But with the many matches that occur in the real world, I wonder if there really is indigo in the production process team of The Simpsons? that's just my imagination, don't be taken seriously.
Well, despite all that, I'm also sure if cryptocurrency will be more useful in the real world, with wider adoption, though still full of controversy, if taken the positive side it will be very potent.
490  Economy / Speculation / Re: The bitcoin halving to increase cryptocurrencies prices. on: February 25, 2020, 10:37:23 PM
Halving is the most brilliant strategy in my opinion. With a higher level of mining difficulty and a limited amount of supply, this makes higher business value automatically increase sales value. Moreover, cryptocurrency is increasingly popular and more and more people are familiar with it, if the positive functions and the wider adoption, then it is certain that demand will be higher. Based on economic law, if demand is high and supply is limited then prices will rise. This is very effective. Bitcoin over time is like a rare item, and this will increase the value of an investment, it's just necessary to understand that the risk is high, it could be more valuable or even vice versa.
491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Increase Bitcoin adoption on: February 25, 2020, 10:25:25 PM
Everything you have mentioned there are already lots of people that have tried it, but it still didn’t work out. There’s really nothing you can do, and out can’t force people to make use of Bitcoin, it’s a thing of choice. It’s good that you found a way to add Bitcoin to your payment method in store, but don’t really force it, it’s a thing of choice.

As time goes on I believe that those who don’t want to make use of Bitcoin now will be the ones to decide for themselves and they would quickly adopt it when the time is right. It’s just like when I tell my friends about Bitcoin, I don’t force them into it, I just tell them that I make use of Bitcoin, it’s their choice to choose whether they want to use it or not, that’s none of my business I just do mine.
We are not forcing everyone to use bitcoin, but at least the OP has tried to provide an alternative for the adoption of a more tangible. Well, so far fiat is still very effective for transactions that are small scale, instant, and micropayment, given the price of BTC and other cryptocurrency volatile that makes fiat more appropriate as the main choice. However, on the other hand, cryptocurrency is quite effective for unlimited payments of time and space, see? fiat and cryptocurrency complement each other, depending on their individual needs.

What is certain is that evolution requires a long time, as well as the adoption of bitcoin, it does not need to be forced either, let it run as it is.
492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: TELLING THE TRUTH ABOUT BITCOIN on: February 25, 2020, 09:50:16 PM
That's a fact that happens a lot. Many people think that investing in bitcoin can bring quick and consistent profits, that's an understanding that needs to be straightened out. Although bitcoin and another cryptocurrency can provide huge benefits, there are difficult processes that must be studied, understood, and analyzed. That is why many fraudsters easily deceive new investors, who have money but don't have an understanding of the cryptocurrency ecosystem.

Wise step of the OP by providing the right education-related to cryptocurrency, hopefully, what you provide can have a positive impact.
493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Current ICO Project Looks a Little & Is Different From Previous Years? on: February 24, 2020, 10:52:29 PM
Whether there is a signature campaign depends on the decisions of the dev team and the bounty manager, each campaign also has its own function. By holding a social media campaign, it could be dev focus on expanding social media networks, it could also be due to funding factors as well. But there are still many campaign signatures that can be followed, it would be more effective to choose a weekly payment and handled by a trusted BM, but at least your rank must be SR with the acquisition of quality merits and posts. Other alternatives for signatures I recommend: Geoma Dao, Hitmex, Hydax. DWYOR.
494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Keep your assets safe as the Bull run draws nearer on: February 24, 2020, 10:23:49 PM
This risk can be reduced by choosing a potential global exchange. Potential global exchange will at least not just disappear, they will surely maintain their reputation well, and provide the best service for its users. Do not put your valuable assets by trading on small and dubious exchanges, unless there are urgent conditions where you have to use the shitexchange, for example, to sell tokens from bounties, you should immediately move if you already sell them.

not only during the bull market, we must be very careful, but also in the bear market there are a lot of scammers. The scam market is always alive. during a bull run, it is more active because the opportunity to earn money is higher and the number of uneducated people in this market also becomes higher
You are right, understanding the high-risk cryptocurrency ecosystem will make us more selective and careful in choosing the exchange and wallet to use. However, storing large assets in a wallet exchange is very risky.
495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some ridiculous suspicious projects with zero value! on: February 24, 2020, 09:52:00 PM
That's a bad attitude from an admin and of course from the project. We know that 2019 was a pretty difficult year for bounty hunters, many failed projects, scams, etc. which resulted in a lot of drama in the bounty world. Most of them only give promises without any realization at all, the project stops, and over time the admin disappears one by one, and the telegram group becomes a den of spammers. Well, that's the risk. One of the best ways to overcome that is to move on. Try to busy yourself with analyzing other projects, and I see this year there have been quite a lot of good developments.
496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have some funds to invest-- How do I make a good decision? on: February 24, 2020, 09:46:48 PM
Previously, I suggest you learn technical and fundamental analysis. Also, learn investment strategies that fit your passion. Cryptocurrency is not static, it changes every time, and choices for long-term and short-term investments also influence the choice. So understand that first.
In fact, all coins and tokens that are ranked highest in coinmarketcap have good potential. The most decisive thing is the result of the analysis to determine the right timing for buy and sell. So it's not just simply: this is good or that is good, but there are things that are even more complex, whether this is for the short or long term, is there any supporting news or rumors, etc.
497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't just hold your altcoins for a long time! on: February 24, 2020, 09:38:36 PM
That's why we need to care more about "what we do" and "what we choose". Get used to all done with a full plan, do not forget to record and check periodically through an official account, turn on notifications for channels and telegram groups of projects that you follow to get the latest information.

I have experience this kind of problem way back, it was a bounty token and I left the official telegram group. When I once checked my alts one by one, following ever inch of their shadows if the they are still alive or dead already, I saw something that was worth but a different token already, they swap the coin and now it is too late for me. It was worth a sell but how would I know, if this post were somehow earlier or I am pack with advanced knowledge about swapping tokens.
That is, cryptocurrency is sometimes full of surprises, the price can pump many times over before it was worthless and we ignored it. So don't underestimate anything here, hopefully, what the OP is sharing can be a lesson for us all.
498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Methods that fraudsters use to scam people on: February 24, 2020, 09:16:02 PM
That is why I always set up multiple accounts, multiple emails, and multiple mobile numbers. One account/email / mobile number I use officially for real-life related to social, bank accounts, etc. While I use a backup account/email / mobile number specifically for joining bounties and other matters relating to cryptocurrency. This is a precaution if there is fraud via email or mobile number.

Some time ago I got an email in the name of IDEX exchange that there was a giveaway that worked with a website and caused KYC on the website. After I checked the IDEX exchange official account, it turned out to be a scam. So, for everyone, please pay attention to these rules:
1. Usually, the admin of an official group will not PM you first, let alone ask for a deposit, etc., it's fake
2. Before joining make sure to check whether the news is official or not by asking directly on the official website support.
499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not FOMO on newly listed altcoins on Binance on: February 23, 2020, 10:58:21 PM
FOMO is indeed not good, it can be avoided by having a strong, fundamental and technical analysis base. However, the coins and tokens listed on Binance have a plus and attract broad market interest. So that even at a glance, it can be used as a moment to benefit. The key is to be keen to see the situation, determine the right timing, and release everything if a decline starts.
500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Warning for newbies on: February 23, 2020, 10:31:51 PM

The problem is even though we do our very own research , still it isn't enough to save our asses due to some lack of information given by the project developers themselves. I recently found out that some IEO's out there don't give the exact amount of money raised, and that is a red flag for me as we are somehow getting excited when we see the project is getting much attention in support. So basically at that moment you knew at first then that is also the moment you say no to new ALT.
That's a pretty complex problem indeed if the developer isn't transparent then what can we maintain to keep supporting? So by creating transparency will create a positive reciprocal relationship.
This is an important lesson for newbies, including me, so they are not easily attracted to the lure of large investments, because there is no guarantee.
