4921  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: $3000+ PayPal Balance for BTC - Fast Service on: March 20, 2019, 04:37:42 PM
Don't you get it ?

Oh yeah, I get it.  You're a scammer using throw-away PayPal accounts to buy up bitcoin, file disputes, win some, lose some, move on to using the next throw-away account, and then sell the previous account which has already been used to shit on the bitcoin community.

Go the fuck away!
4922  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: looking to trade usd paypal for bitcoin on: March 20, 2019, 12:33:52 AM
note i will not contact you via telegram, the user @dozerz on telegram is not me, beware scammers.

This guy contacted me through telegram shortly after I posted here in your thread, and I thought it was suspicious because I don't have my telegram username posted anywhere in public.  I didn't ask you to contact me through telegram, so I asked him to send me a PM here on the forum.  Glad I did.

Anyway, the PayPal has been sent per our PMs.  Thanks.
4923  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: is it possible to use electrum and trezor separately on: March 19, 2019, 10:26:05 PM
And sorry, I forgot to mention... to have the option to use the "watching-only" wallet, you have to connect the Trezor to Electrum and create the wallet WITHOUT using wallet file encryption. When setting the wallet up, you will get this window:

If you leave it encrypted (default option), as the dialog states: "You will need your hardware device to open your wallet."

However, if you disable the encryption (note: this only affects the wallet file created by Electrum... and this file does not contain any private keys or seed information... it only has public keys), you will be able to open the wallet without the device connected and be able to view addresses/transactions etc. (== watching-only wallet)

Another way to create a watch only wallet is to simply export the master public key.  Access the wallet with your hardware wallet connected, click Wallet>Information.  Copy the master public key and use that to create a new wallet.

But you know what i give you the chance to proof your negative feedback to be legit here

Please show me my alt which has scammed people on which i have been called out.

This one: ito-marketing.  Now read my words carefully.  I didn't say you attempted to scam, I said you retaliated for being called out as having an alt that used to scam.  You may argue that ito-marketing didn't attempt to scam anyone, but in my opinion attempted manipulation of the DT system is an attempt to scam.
4925  Economy / Reputation / Re: Why does suchmoon often add false claims on negative feedback ? on: March 19, 2019, 09:01:24 PM
Although I value Suchmoon's judgment, and in no way feel that her reviews are erroneous, I actually agree with you.  It would be helpful if we all were more accurate in our reviews and gave significant details.

4928  Other / Politics & Society / Re: All human should be vanished. This place is only for animal ! on: March 19, 2019, 04:21:13 PM
Banning guns isn't about saving lives.  It's about gaining power.  If the gun-grabbers wanted to save lives they should be focusing on about a dozen other subjects first.

Ironically the same people who claim to care about saving lives by banning guns tend to promote the type of governance system (socialism/communism) that cost more humans their lives than anything else humanity has ever conceived.  Not even auto accidents come anywhere close to reaching the monumental loss of life attributed to communism.

4931  Economy / Reputation / Re: marcotheminer - con[fidence] man on: March 19, 2019, 03:28:31 PM
I was clear to him I would be late, he didn't like it (of course not) but was AT EASE when I provided all the proof he would ever need to believe I would repay.

At ease?  Do these posts sound like the lender was at ease?

One more day and not pay, we will see tomorrow

This man not pay me, saying tomorrow , tomorrow..... last was friday for sure, but again didnt pay me

Community how i have to do to say to mods that ban the account of this man?
need open a threat?
Which section?
Thx for help

I don't know how you define the term "at ease," but I would agree with VOD that these sound like the posts of someone who is under duress.  This deceitful, arrogant, cavalier attitude about the lender's money and time is why I feel justified leaving negative trust.

Yes, you eventually paid back the loan, with extra interest.  But doing the right thing eventually, after running out of options doesn't absolve you of being held accountable for your actions.
4932  Economy / Reputation / Re: marcotheminer - con[fidence] man on: March 19, 2019, 04:25:16 AM
I was holding back from leaving a review on marcotheminer's wall, but his arrogance and deceit have convinced me.  Marco's attitude has been abysmal.  I can forgive someone for being late on a payment under certain circumstances, shit happens.  But this was just about trading with other peoples money, and to blow off your obligation in that manner is definitely untrustworthy behavior.

4934  Economy / Lending / Re: Requesting 0.03 repayment 0.034 by Monday on: March 18, 2019, 10:19:50 PM
Everyone brings up the "from lender to borrower quickly" statement.

I was a lender in 2015. In 2019 I decided to take some much needed loans. That shouldn't be making me as suspicious as I am made out to be. But, a forum will be a forum. Futile to fight against opinions.

Now you're just being deceptive.  I distinctly remember you posting a lending thread where you offered loans within past couple of months.  I've been contemplating starting a lending service of my own, so I've been paying attention to the "competition."  I thought nothing of it at the time, but shortly after that is when the thread with 2double0 popped up, and the shenanigans began.
4935  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Upgrading wallet on: March 18, 2019, 10:10:08 PM

I'm pretty new to this so please bear with me. I just transferred bitcoin from coinbase to my Electrum wallet. Coinbase says the transaction went through but it hasn't shown up in my wallet. I'm noticing that the wallet keeps saying synchronizing. It's version 3.2.3, do I need to update the wallet? how do I do that? I have my seed words written down. Will the coinbase transfer show up if I upgrade? Or is it lost?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, it should.  Older versions of Electrum have been subject to phishing attacks, and as far as I know they will no longer work.  You'll need to update to the latest version of Electrum.

WARNING!

There is malware out there trying to trick you into downloading a malicious version of Electrum.  Only download from electrum.org, and verify the signature to avoid being scammed.

4936  Economy / Lending / Re: Requesting 0.03 repayment 0.034 by Monday on: March 18, 2019, 10:04:02 PM
It's not really warranted - it came because they thought I scammed/defaulted.

My comments aren't based solely on this episode.  I've had my suspicions about your account since 2double0's loan request, and since you suddenly went from being a lender to being a borrower.  Like I've said in other posts, I'm not convinced you aren't using other accounts here on the forum.  I have no concrete evidence, just a suspicion.  That's why I'm refraining from leaving any feedback one way or the other.
4937  Economy / Lending / Re: Requesting 0.03 repayment 0.034 by Monday on: March 18, 2019, 09:47:45 PM
He repaid me with very good %, he repaid 0.05 btcs

I'm happy to hear you've been repaid.  I've had my reservations about lending to marcotheminer, there have been some strange activities with this account lately.  Half of me wants those who've left negative feedback for this debacle to remove it, but at the same time it seems like some kind of warning on marcotheminer's trust page is still warranted.  Perhaps neutral feedback is the best option.

4938  Other / Meta / Re: Users should be notified when being put on DT on: March 18, 2019, 08:59:19 PM
I would have kept my opinion to myself in the praying example if I knew I was DT. It's kind of like kicking someone when they're sleeping.

Why would being DT have anything to do with how civil or friendly you behave?  That's like a cop saying he wouldn't have given you a speeding ticket if he knew the judge was going to charge you a fine.  This is exactly why I decided to remove you from my trust network.

Here's a little tip that may help you throughout your existence, not just on the forum:  Behave as if someone whom you truly respect is always watching you.  The test of true character is how we behave when no one is watching.
4939  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: is it possible to use electrum and trezor separately on: March 18, 2019, 06:36:20 PM
I tried to make a purchase with my bitcoins but couldn't do it with trezor. As the trezor client doesn't recognize the link with the payment address as (apologies with not knowing the technical terms) where as a software wallet such as Electrum or Myceliem etc did. Maybe you can with trezor but I'm still learning.

When I downloaded electrum I (stupidly) thought that the two (my trezor and electrum) had to be linked.  So with a small amount of use I've found this not to be the case.

I guess a good analogy is that:

The shop only accepted cash (electrum) and I only had a credit card/bank (trezor) so I had to use an ATM to get (send bitcoin) cash -  there's a wallet in that analogy somewhere haha lol

So the idea with unlinking the two is that my cash and debit card are not in the same wallet.

This sounds super fishy (or phishy, as the case may be.)  Do you mind sharing with us which site you were using?  It seems weird to me that it is so specific about the type of wallet you must use.

It's probably the drugs.

And beer.

Sound like someone's been hanging out with Hank 3.
