That has happened to me. refresh the config and also restart the mining module. happens when it thinks the form isn't filled out for some reason.

Yeah i'm looking forward to that! Maybe CryptOTC will become Gridcoins primary exchanger.
i really like the speed and (call me crazy) the layout/design of the site. Simple effective functionality.

The Gridcoin team now ranks: 8,544 out of 99,715
In BoincStats.

CryptOTC isn't an exchange, I don't handle the transactions that take place unless you request escrow of me. CryptOTC is an alternative to the google docs method. You place offers and people can respond to your offers. The trade that takes place is solely between you and the other party
What are your escrow fees?

Ok that's odd for him to do that. I know if I was making a farm, I would be using 8 GPU's per motherboard and installing Linux.
I would also make them local servers so I can control them all with 1 computer.

150mh/s ?? Where is this coming from? it seems some miners with more than 150M hast rates want to join GRC. check the hash rate tomorrow.
just start mining now, otherwise, it will be too late.
yes, I am sure. some big LTC miners have 700M hash rates. That is quite normal. on the other hand, if they join with full power, it will destroy GRC. I try to persuade them not to use full power at the moment. Otherwise, I won't be able to mine anything as well. I persuaded them that, now they are using only less than 10M hash rate. they do not want to destroy GRC. It would not "destroy" Gridcoin even if 10gh suddenly jumped on. The difficulty algo is responsive enough to adjust upwardly to compensate and back down if they left. Hopefully they would be able to get the proper amount of BOINC utilization on each rig to maximize their mining. Any size hash rate would be welcomed since it would strengthen the network and increase beneficial research. I know them in Ripple forum and they were running boinc anyway even without GRC. I show one of them start mining step by step on one rig, and I see the boinc utilitzation is nearly 100 when they the first time mining GRC. If one big miner with 700M just jump in, no others can mine anymore somehow. Majority of people will lose interest in GRC I am afraid. If he has that many rigs, I'm sure he is using Linux on them as windows is limited to 4 GPU's per computer. I don't think he can mine this coin as you can't mine with Linux yet.

So when i have my boinc utilization at 100%, my hashrate drops about 20%. If its around 50% then my hashrate is back to normal.
So having 100% cpu utilization takes away some hashing power.
Didn't know that and i thought maybe someone else would find this info useful.
ahhhh so i'm not the only one with this problem!!! but some people don't have this problem...just to know, what version of boinc and cgmier are you running? I just ran the upgrade command today, so it should be the latest version.

I doubt someone would put that much effort in a website to just make a quick buck. having the site longterm will be more profitable anyway.

But... without a premine scandal it will fade away in oblivion, jk finally something worthwhile.
This is worse than most premines, the devs keep 10% of all coins.

You have to run the wallet as Administrator in order to upgrade trough the upgrade function.
Thanks that did it for me.

Ok, its ashame GRC isn't on the exchange yet though. Lets hope they follow through with it. Can you give me any links on this info?
just check with Rob, I remembered he posted either here or gridcoin forum. let us hope the best for GRC. Anyway, I believe GRC and any coins similar to GRC who have a actual value and benefit the human and our daily lives in the year 2014. It should be the trend of cryptocurrencies' future. Ok, i'm sure he reads this forum thread so we'll see if i get an answer.

Their is a linux client, don't see how you wouldn't be able to.

Someone needs to make a video tutorial on how to mine gridcoins. I think their is a lot of confusion as their is no mining pools.
I would do it, don't have a mic though and i think other people have more knowledge about how it works than me.
