Did this just launch today, or did it launch days ago? The OP is from today, but syncing the wallet it started off something like 11 days behind...

Dedicated seems to be finally crediting miners. Had bailed everything but my little 1-GPU miner since things seemed a little fishy. Will see what happens...
|
|
|
Hm. Spoke too soon? Dedicated now has a message about a database problem and the original thread is suddenly unlocked (although I swear a page of messages disappeared at the same time). Weird.

did someone make a new thread for swag coin? dedicatedpool still isn't showing any payouts, and I wanna git muh swaggah awn.
Yeah, I think there may be a reason the original thread was locked...

I guess Dedicated doesn't mean dedicated uptime.

Added to my calendar app. I've been looking for a new CPU currency to mine; guess I'll be trying this one out on the 5th.

I haven't been able to mine from steadymining for over half an hour. It suddenly couldnt find work from pool, now it won't even connect. I want to have 24/7 connection, lucky me I woke up this early.
I'm having the same problem. Pool stats show lots of people mining, but my 3 PCs keep getting kicked to my failbacks. Given their new "botnets are not welcome" message, I've been vaguely wondering if maybe they think my miners are part of a botnet? Annoying, either way. Edit: added a second USDE pool as a failback and one of my miners connects to Steadymining intermittently, the second and third refuse to. The third connects to Blockchasers for USDE, but the second does not. All three seem to keep favoring my 4th failback, which is especially weird considering the 3rd and 4th are both Miningpool.co (two different currencies). It's like my computers are possessed and want to mine one specific currency as long as it's not the one I'm setting them to mine.

ATTENTION ALL WHO MINED AT http://HTTP://ASTROPOOL.CO IN FIRST 15 MIN. OF LAUNCHPM us your #1 email address, #2 USER ID/ ID Number, #3 ASR Wallet Address. If we find in the records with the developer of http://HTTP://ASTROPOOL.CO that you have mined in the first 15 minutes, we will send you a portion of ASR. We will be EQUALLY DIVIDING the 1015 confiscated ASR based on how many miners PM us and whose emails, user ids match the ones in the database. Do not expect us to respond to the PMs, but if we find you are not eligible, we will notify you. If you are eligible, just expect a payment of ASR to reach you. Again, the public address for the blockchain of the 1015 confiscated coins stored in a secure cold wallet at the moment is I'd like to go on record here retracting my earlier rant. I followed the instructions above and Astrocoin was able to verify I was one of the miners and sent me some ASR to compensate me for my loss of funds. It seems that the problems with the launch were not intentional and they are doing their best to compensate the people like myself who stumbled on the early launch and mined at Astropool.co So if you mined at Astropool.co, PM him your info so he can look you up and I'm sure he will do the same for you if your info is on file. My apologies for my tone in my earlier posts.

Maybe, but it's impossible to withdraw anything because the system now requires clicking a new email link before changing account settings (even though I did this a couple of days ago), but never sends the email. AND you can't use the contact form to ask about the missing email because the security token is invalid until you click the link in the email that doesn't get sent.

We pre mined the 1% and then find out that someone else was mining and at a very fast rate. We could have waited 8 hours until the normal launch (allowing this unknown miner to gather more and more coins), but instead we decided to launch early, allowing the general public to get the coins instead of this unknown pre miner. We did announce it on the astrocoin twitter page ... I was angry when i heard that we had to do that but it was necessary. I'm sorry for those people who were on time and missed the launch.
This early launch brought up another problem. Since there weren't many miners, some of the coins were pretty much instamined at a low difficulty. Our response to that was to ask the pool owner to confiscate the 1,015 or so coins and hand it over to us. We have placed those coins in cold storage and made that wallet public so you guys can check on it and make sure that the coins are not removed. THOSE COINS WILL NOT HIT AN EXCHANGE. They will be used for promotions and projects if it is even used at all. We will account for every last mASR, you can bet on that.
So let's see... you saw someone was mining who shouldn't have been, abruptly launched early, then you confiscated coins from the people (like myself and others who have posted in the thread) who heard about the early launch. Yeah, that seems totally legit.

OFFICIAL UPDATE ON http://HTTP://ASTROPOOL.CO AND EARLY COINSThe pool was unable to handle the traffic and there were several bugs. As of right now, the pool has shut down, everyone has been paid out in full and the site is still alive for anyone to go and withdraw their balances. That is absolutely not the case. I mined there for just over an hour and there were fewer than 40 people mining when I started - that's too much traffic to handle? I never received any ASR. None whatsoever.

Hi everyone! I'm back...
I had some pretty rough complications and this is the first time I've sort of even "wanted" to do anything other than lay in bed and weep over my back situation. Seriously, this kind of debilitating pain makes all anyone want to do is just curl up and die. Even oxycodone could not help, and I am seriously not down with the side effects of that shit (imagine your head stuffed with cotton).
really nice to have you back and i do hope that you get well fucking pretty soon!just wanted to make some suggestions, but i think you are already considering most of the things i am gonna post now, but just in case you have forgotton something: concerning the announcment page of this thread, please add: - a hint for https://cryptsy.freshdesk.com/support/discussions/topics/49478/ so that people vote for it - the link to http://www.reddit.com/r/MoonCoin/comments/1u1ye5/falsification_of_the_premine_accusations_a/ so that people can read about the facts concerning the premining rumors - a link to the new forum: - a link to https://coin-horse.com/MON/, so that people now that one can already gamble with mooncoin - a hint to this guy, who seems to organize some mooncoin betting for NFL matches - a link to this mooncoinfauclet http://moon-[Suspicious link removed]/, so that people get a few mooncoins for free to start moreover i think you should start to twitter again. it is always nice to read at least one tweet a day, so you know that someone ist working on it. that builds up confidence and i think more people are willing to join the party then last, but not least be aware that there is a bunch of people who have already offered their help. just in case you and your team cannot manage it all alone, you obviously only have to ask some people. due to the unlucky situation with your back i think you should at least ask a few people right now, unless you already have sufficient manpower, of course: If you want me to promote mooncoin on my Youtube channel I am fine with that, One of my channels has 10,000 total views and has been around for 4 plus years or something like that, so it will turn up in search results. I would accept a few pennies worth of mooncoin to do it, just give me a video I can use is all.
Well said. I'd be happy to help. come on guys lets put some effort to make moon reach its real value.
I can code, if interested to team up come forward. To the dev: if you need a hand PM me.
No one's asked for my help. They mentioned an IRC channel but I've been in there 5 or 6 times and nothing's happening. Plus I hate IRC. My offer was/is out there.
I have a computer and technology training newsletter with 25,000 subscribers and I'm planning a Mooncoin giveaway and drawing as a way to teach my students to get into cryptocurrency. I have video lessons (one for Windows, one for Mac) that I've just recorded that show how to get the Mooncoin wallet, install it, and how to receive coins. I need to edit the videos still, but will be posting them to my site later this week after I finish up some other legwork for the promotion. I'll post an update and links here and on my Twitter account when I do.

Since 3/4 of all the coins went to the only pool alive at launch (astropool),care to explain what happened to these coins since no one got paid or listed any transaction there ?
This.

So my verdict is http://astropool.cois either a scam or is malfunctioning and doesn't credit you for valid shares. But so far, http://asr.hashhunt.in seems to be working and is crediting me for valid shares. Hate when I waste time and hashes on pools that don't work.
|
|
|
Hm. Yeah. Launches early and the first pool doesn't seem to be crediting any shares -- have been mining for an hour now at ~1,700 kh/s, plenty of valid, yet 0.000000 unconfirmed.
I'm not one to scream scam, but this seems like one.

They've updated their site and now you can only withdraw your total balance, and they removed the email requirement -- I had it in about 20 minutes.

How long is it taking people to get withdrawal confirmation emails from 0daycoins? Or have they stopped paying out?
I submitted a request ~4 hours ago and never got an email. Not in my junk folder; have received previous emails from them too. No way to cancel withdrawal or otherwise resend the email, either. Same, I submitted a request at least 6 hours ago. No email. Let me know if you hear or figure anything out. I emailed them at the address that was posted earlier in the thread and haven't gotten a response and the site still shows as "pending withdrawal". Been about 8 hours at this point.

0Daycoins hasn't sent me a withdrawal email. No way to ask them to resend...

It is dead. Please, let it rest in peace. Now you can
+ send all MOON coins into non-existent address to kill them all. + stop mining + delete the wallet + forget it + mine another one
You're funny.
