I think the Christian community should come together and sue Kanye for copyright infringement for the whole Yeesus thing.
Using the play on Jesus name to gain notariaty, plus he had a guy dressed as Jesus come on stage in the middle of his concert and cosign him.
that seems waaaayyyy more infringing than coinye Wink

always accepting donations Grin

KANYE WEST WILL HAVE TO GO TO PANAMA TO SHUT DOWN COINYE

KANYE WEST COINYE BATTLE GETS MORE COMPLICATED
Kanye West’s legal team have amped up the Coinye West battle by filing a lawsuit in New York against the creators, however they will have to go as far as Panama to totally shut the operation down.

The anonymous creators/affiliates of the Coinye Coin have released a new website which may prove extremely difficult to take offline. After their official coinyewest(dot)com site was made unavailable, the creators may have decided to re-host their main web page with Voxility, which operates in the US and Romania.

However, their domain (website address) has been registered in Panama, which may make it even more difficult to get a hold of. This means that even if Voxility decide to turn off the site, the Coinye owners still have the domain in Panama, where they could decide to host it elsewhere.

Their website is also currently listed as being on a server in Australia and the company that owns that server is based in Romania, not California.

In addition to this, numerous social pages have appeared on the web including a Coinye West Facebook page and other Coinye related websites. In total, there are now over 11 million indexed pages on Google related to the search term “Coinye West.”

However the Twitter page for the Coinye West developers issued this statement regarding the cryptocurrency. It is unclear whether other people outside of the original Coinye West team have decided to create copycat websites.

How we got this information

We conducted a search using whois.org which retraced the registry of the Coinyecoin domain name along with where it is served, and which hosting company it is with. This information can be freely obtained by the general public.

Kanye West sues COINYE, themed digital currency, over trademark infringement
New Internet currency, similar to Bitcoin, has a cartoon of West — and the ‘Yeezus’ rapper is not amused. The new COINYE digital currency coins be used at CoinyeCasino.com to gamble or stashed away in hopes they will jump in value.

Kanye West likes to make money, but is not happy that someone is trying to cash in on his fame by literally ‘making’ money — the crypto-currency Coinye.

Kanye West likes to make money, but is not happy that someone is trying to cash in on his fame by literally ‘making’ money — the crypto-currency COINYE.
Kanye West wants to make money. He doesn't want to BE money.

The superstar rapper and wealthy music mogul filed a trademark infringement lawsuit Tuesday against the creators of a humorous new Kanye West-themed digital currency called "COINYE" that launched last week.

The logo for the currency, which is bought and sold over the Internet, features a cartoon version of West wearing his signature "shutter shades."

"Defendants have willfully and admittedly traded upon the goodwill and notoriety of Kanye West, one of the most famous entertainers and brand names in the world," claims the suit filed in Manhattan federal court, which seeks unspecified damages.

The suit refers to COINYE as a "crypto-currency" because it exists only as computer code, not in any physical form. Bitcoin is the most well-known crypto-currency.

"In interviews with the press, defendants brazenly admit that they adopted the marks COINYE WEST, COINYE and COYE to directly associate their newly minted crypto-currency with Mr. West," the suit states.

The "College Dropout" rapper, who had a baby daughter with fiancée Kim Kardashian last year, claims the COINYE creators are damaging his brand.

"With each day that passes, Mr. West's reputation is irreparably harmed … Consumers are likely to mistakenly believe that Mr. West is the source of these digital coins," the suit alleges.

To demonstrate the problem, the suit lists 18 tweets posted by consumers about the new currency.

"Kanye West now has a currency," Twitter user Christopher Hudson wrote on Jan. 2, the suit notes.

"Move over bitcoin, @kanyewest is about to create the greatest digital currency of all time," Chase Graves tweeted, according to the suit.

West filed a cease-and-desist letter on Jan. 6. But the defendants defied the "Gold Digger" hip-hopper by moving forward, the suit claims.

The website for COINYE. Kanye West’s suit says, 'Consumers are likely to mistakenly believe that Mr. West is the source of these digital coins.'

The programmers planned to offer COINYE units in blocks of 666,666 starting last week. The extent to which the launch occurred was unclear Tuesday.

The number 666,666 is a nod to West's rumored affiliation with the Illuminati and is closely associated with Mr. West and his "Yeezus" album, according to the suit.

West's lawyer, Brad Rose, declined to comment Tuesday.

Many buyers of crypto-currency are hoarders hoping their currency catches on and grows in street value. But ahead of the COINYE launch, an online "Coinye Casino" was inviting people to play roulette with the coins.

CoinyeCasino.com, which received a cease-and-desist letter from West on Jan. 8, was unavailable Tuesday.

Earlier Tuesday, a message sent to the site earned the Daily News an invitation to a chat room that appeared to be backing the virtual currency.

"It's a parody. We didn't want to offend anyone. We respected Mr. West," said a programmer who organized the chat.

"COINYE has been revised and should be protected as a parody," another participant said. "We believe it is a separate thing from his intellectual property. This community is highly supportive and dedicated to making COINYE a coin for the masses."

A third participant brought up West's recent alleged battery of a man in Beverly Hills.

"Has COINYE harmed him more than assaulting that 18-year-old? If anything he has gotten more press attention for it."

Digital coin exchange sites 0DayCoins.com, Coinye-Exchange.com and Newchg.com are named as defendants in the suit, along with Amazon.com, which provides web hosting services.

The suit also names Dogecoin, accusing it of operating COINYE sites, plus a Coinye Casino programmer who goes by the name Jonny Bravo and 100 additional unnamed defendants.

Some supporters argue the point of crypto-currency is to create an international system free from government regulation that works as a cheap, egalitarian version of mainstream services such as Western Union.

With the latest update to the lawsuit. I'm not risking it my friend. at least I gave people 12 hours. other pools flat out shut the doors and ran.

Can I have one more chance I had to sleep too. And also the coins were not confirmed. Angry. Don't do it like this so that people ask Kayne to file a lawsuit on you too. For scamming people. Grin

Plz one more chance.

1st off watch who your calling a scammer.

2nd I am hosted out of the states. therefor with that lawsuit that you see going around could effect me as well. since it states in not so many words Mining Pools.

The way I look at it is simple.  I gave people 12-15 hours to withdraw there coins. If you didn't get it out in that time its your fault.  At least I didn't pool a pool.coinyechain.info  They flat out shut down and STOLE all currency. NO warnings. NO timeframes to withdraw. NO nothing. just SHUT OFF.

How long is it taking people to get withdrawal confirmation emails from 0daycoins? Or have they stopped paying out?

I submitted a request ~4 hours ago and never got an email. Not in my junk folder; have received previous emails from them too.

No way to cancel withdrawal or otherwise resend the email, either.

Same, I submitted a request at least 6 hours ago. No email. Let me know if you hear or figure anything out.

I emailed them at the address that was posted earlier in the thread and haven't gotten a response and the site still shows as "pending withdrawal".  Been about 8 hours at this point.  Sad

Here is the link to my trust settings here on forum. This trust system is very unfair. I make good on every deal Ive ever made. I had many, many deals as you can see and I never scammed anyone. All it takes is a random account to give you negative trust and youre screwed. Tomatocage has never even talked to me ever but when the random acct hit me with negative trust, Tomatocage came right behind him and marked neg trust again so obviously he was the one who did it. You can look at Tomatocage trust and see how many of his compeditors at the currency exchange thread he labeled scammers. I never scammed anyone. My trust was green over 20 before this. I hope it never happens to you because the mods cant help you.

Don't like people calling you a scammer? Then pay what you owe!!! Youre here right now so pay.

Why can't you?? Just because THEY "stole" right away, then it's ok you waited 16 hours to steal? Come oooon maaan!! LOL Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Ok lts see here... Lets leave a pool up an additional 24 hours and risk getting sued for a few grand. (there was less then $100 worth of coins left on the server) Or lets get rid of the pool before I get screwed to. Hmm..  I gave people 15 hours to withdraw FOR A REASON. if you didn't get your coins TO BAD get over it.

I wasn't at your pool. And the poor guy in bed, will get over it. But I will be on your ass everytime you post here because you scammed this poor guy out of his money.

That YOU will not get over!!

If you don't like it I posted my FULL REAL NAME a few PAGES back. You and CONYE can get at me Your both scammers!!!

http://coye.hackshard.com will be gone forever in the next 5 minutes.  If you sill have currency on my pool. remove it now or forever hold your piece.  Announcement was made 12 hours ago officially on my site

dude. give people more time

Hopefully you choose a pool name as appropriate as the one you picked for this one!! Your a hack all right LOSER. Glad I wasn't the first one to label you a scammer! Your 42 and earthcoin pools are riddled with them, all with the same lame excuses from the deviant one, oh i'm sorry deviant 3 or 2 is it
