Question for dev RE: "god" account...

Apparently this is/was a storage or bounty account...why on earth is this account, with over 51M NHZ forging??? This is wreaking havoc to the blockchain forging at least the last 13/15 blocks and is most certainly a threat to security...this account, especially if a bounty or storage account should not be forging imo. No bounty account should forge...why should they if they "have not been distributed"
Please explain or correct me if I have assumed wrongly.
Edit: this reminds me of another point...we were told that the account holder / account list would be added once again to the blockexplorer. This is critical for transparency. Any updates for that?

I don't have an opinion about current price of NEM token. Whatever the price is, the core team has no direct benefit.
So the core team has no NEM holdings whatsoever? No direct benefit NOW. Because we are not being able to sell anything. Someone is posting 10 stake sell walls and has been for several days now...I highly doubt it's day traders as some people suggest...I'm just sayin' |

The new design of http://www.nxtcommunity.org/ is just amazing. I'm very optimistic that NXT will certainly be the leading crypto currency in the future. Looks great indeed!  But why so much focus on the "nerd" side of Nxt? Is that how new people want to be seen and associated with? As Nxt Nerds? I think it's a funny part and it surely can be part of the website, but this is to much IMHO. I just can't take it anymore... The stock nerd photos on the nxtcommunity site bug me every time I go there. Using pictures of people dressed up as 'nerds' rather than actual people is rather lame. I agree 100%. We need to change this as soon as possible. Or at least set up a poll to see if the majority of the community want to keep this or not! It's really annoying and turns me off...I dont even want to go to the site. Please, let's at least consider a poll. |

Excellent job to all. Testnet is working well. Couple of issues: "polls" not working, shouldn't it be reomoved for now. Also, when I make a transaction, aliases work, but asset seems to remain pending without confirmation. Transaction tab continues to spin without loading. Peers tab also does not load. Are these issues side affects of testnet (maybe too few peers)? Cannot forge. PS - I set up asset to test so trade away and see how it goes. (if it loads) - asset id: 17496789892539265893Edit: assets appear not to load  Edit2: asset loaded - go buy it! |

I am crypto -nonexpert and a poor pensioner and was just looking for someone who gives me comfort. Thanks to the community for your compassion. I would say: take a longer perspective. NEM would not fail your trust. Be active to protect your investment as well Hmmhh Pensioner and "take a longer perspective"  ? I already make moor baths to get used lying in moist soil. If a fix is even coming...
You could always head over to NEM and discuss the possibility of a wallet at some future date for a coin that might be finished at some future date. The have a lot to discuss, surveys, google documents, stakeholder lists, discussions, everything people want..........just no actual coin or wallet. I would so like to receive another stake so I could sell it for 20,000 NXT....nem believers have their heads in the clouds. Edit: even if I get back in, 2 or 3 for 1 in a week. |

I don't know about the price of the coin, but I know that the devs are very capable and commited to this project. The distribution looks very fair and if nothing shady goes on with the reserve funds in the future, this coin can be NXTs little brother on its way to the top! Agree. NHZ crew have been top notch from the get-go. Steady...and constant. Not predicting price, but when I look to invest, always consider a) technology and b) the development team. a) already proven b) a winner = success I kind of see NHZ as a proven platform of which to develop cool implementation tools just because NXT is "too crowded". Plus, it's earned by bounty. Very fair. Get out what you put in. Nice philosophy. |

Complaining about distribution is like complaining about block difficulty going up. Then poor miners can't pump and dump because they can't afford newer mining rigs/equiptment. Fact - POW is doomed. POS is the future (at least for now).
Qora is still in it's infancy and will find it's niche. The selling is great for distribution and will continue. Nxt is blazing a path that other POS alt's such as Qora can follow or avoid and the long term outlook is great.
If you are looking for a quick pump and dump, there are plenty of other shitcoins to take a look at so don't waste your breath here. This is a Proof-of-Stake coin with Proof-of-Stake supporters, so you little miner's can go back to checking the temperatures of your gpu's or selling coins to pay your electric.
POS in general has still the problem of sybil attacks. I'm not convinced POS is the future. At least not in it's current form. There is still a lot of technical progress to be made before it can be seen as completly secure. Hilarious! LOL The whole current POS dilemma boils down to one point: Why did Satoshi leave BTC? Because he saw the project as failed. Multipools started to kill it. So now he is sitting somewhere and thinking on how the problem of Proof can be solves in a way that creates a system which is either ungameable or provides zero or negative incentive to even try.
POS is a nice system, but basically it failed already in all current implementations.

As such, we can't speak much to this as we don't quite know yet what's under qora's hood. The truth is that nothing is perfect...nothing. What's important is providing the most secure system as possible given the current POS parameters we are working with. There are defenses against sybil, they may have just not yet been implemented.... I think the most important at this point is strengthening our peer network....this is something we can doVery nice agran! Very nice indeed...thank you kind sir. Version 8 is now available.
