501  Economy / Economics / Re: Learn to use DEBT in a proper way to create asset on: January 07, 2024, 07:18:40 PM
What differentiates rich people's debt from poor people's debt is that rich people owe debt for something productive and prevent them from using a lot of their cash for goods or assets. They use their debt as much as possible to create new money for themselves.
However, poor people mostly owe money for unproductive things, such as vehicles or other assets, over a long period of time. They don't mind that they are using more of their money to pay down that unproductive debt. And that is what creates a lot of problems for them because they are not wise in using their debt.
Some people thinks loan is only meant to solve problems for things that are not unproductive, loans can also be use to create wealth but most people don't understand this.  Most companies and and organisations they take loan to build and to become firm, and with the loan they collect they can make good amout of profit.  The challenges people are having is that they do not have a good business ideas on how borrowed money can be use to gain wealth.
Someone will be reckless in making a risky decision to use a loan for business or investment purposes even though you have the idea of planning to develop a business from loan funds, but think about the risks if you fail to manage the business because you don't have reserve funds to cover losses, then you must be prepared to bear two risks at once. Firstly, you failed to build a business or your business did not go according to plan but you have lost the loan capital and secondly you are responsible for paying off the debt on time if you don't want to pay high interest. However, I applaud productive business people who can build their business quickly and on target, so they can use a loan for a one year target in developing their business and you have to pay off the debt in one year too.
502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online or offline gambling which is more safer? on: January 07, 2024, 06:35:27 PM
Everyone is opting for online gambling offline gambling is completely illegal in the country where I am staying. The law provides severe punishment when caught by the law enforcement agencies. I think online gambling is safer than that. No one has any rules here no one will know when to play how to play even someone close to you will not understand easily. All the news will remain in itself the government and legal forces can do nothing.
There is no doubt that playing online is much more convenient today, there are many platforms with gambling. But it is really important how the law treats this and whether gambling is allowed. But there is also a second option - poker with friends. I think this will be relevant even with the strongest prohibitions from the state and laws regulating gambling.
Even though legislation has been regulated to prohibit gambling both online and offline, the reality of online gambling is increasing due to weak systems or networks that block access to online gambling. For example, using a VPN can access gambling even though the government has banned access to gambling, the government can tighten the internet network to prohibit online gambling but it seems they are not serious about doing that because of the dark issue that some online casinos pay tips (taxes) to open access to online gambling without the help of VPN tools. The most relevant solution like you said is that betting on poker in a real casino with friends or a small community will be able to avoid regulations prohibiting gambling, but this solution is certainly not recommended unless you are ready for the consequences because your country's regulations do not legalize gambling.
503  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you want to see in casino reviews? on: January 07, 2024, 05:54:20 PM
You have a good point there, we should never trust any website, especially those casinos that are not being reviewed by users but the operators. And if they are being reviewed by supposed people, how are we sure that they are true human beings and not bots? Peradventure if they are not bots, how are we sure that they are not paid to make the reviews? We should trust nothing online these days, not even the handles of our trusted netizens, they could have been paid as well. But in forums like this and a few other websites where people are reviewing, you can know the genuine ones and the fake ones, and even if you can't know it all, you will know it to some extent that you will be able to trust it to a reasonable extent. Above all, forums are the best places to read the true reviews of things, and if the forum is a long lasting one with track records, you do not have anything to worry about as most of the reviews would be genuine.
You are right, every review from websites, influencers and operators is a review that cannot be completely trusted because some of them will receive payment to compile reviews that can influence other people to gamble at scam casinos, they don't care about the reputation of the casino but they will agree to the proposal review when the value offered matches their expectations, so don't trust gambling reviews from outside the forum unless you can analyze some important points yourself to judge the reputation of the casino, just focus every review on the casino in this forum because we assess all aspects without manipulating any reviews because all analyzes are published for the benefit of the gambling community to avoid scam casinos.
504  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Bitcointalk Sekarang ada OTP -2FA on: January 07, 2024, 09:52:48 AM

505  Economy / Economics / Re: MicroStrategy Buys $250M in Bitcoin, Calling the Crypto ‘Superior to Cash’ on: January 07, 2024, 08:50:14 AM
additionally there are no reports of shareholders experiencing losses due to the impact of MSTR investing any funds into bitcoin investments.

I would be extremely surprised if anything like that would surface on this particular aspect.
Given the particular Microstrategy voting structure and differentiation between share classes regarding voting powers, I think Micheal Saylor has ample freedom of choice about investment choices before any other shareholder can actually bring any legal action forward.
Each shareholder will respond differently depending on their respective opinions regarding the value of MSTR policy which focuses on increasing bitcoin investment, but perhaps the vote of high class shareholders can provide a significant decision with this policy or Saylor has special authority to management of company assets, that is my opinion and maybe we need another opinion in more detail regarding this discussion. But we can judge from the outside that MSTR continues to increase bitcoin in the portfolio list, perhaps some shareholders support Saylor's decision because the company provides profits to shareholders from bitcoin investments. IMO
506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Gambling affect your relationship? on: January 06, 2024, 10:36:39 PM
I say that everything should be open, not just like that, but because my husband (erlier my boyfriend) was active in gambling. I found out about this by chance, but he didn’t hide it and didn’t talk about it.

I just wondered what he was doing and he simply gave me access to all his accounts. I didn’t ask for this, but I was allowed, then of course I wanted to see the history of his account.

I will say this, I was lucky that my man is good at gambling, he systematically withdraws profits, and this was the only time I looked at the history of his bets, after that I never looked at his accounts.

I applaud your partner for being open about various things including gambling, even though generally all couples hide their gambling activities because they assume their partner will strictly prohibit gambling, even though you are given access to monitor the history of their gambling activities and I hope you never experience budget problems with your husband. If you are experiencing budget constraints then you should check again the use of betting funds on your husband's gambling account because gambling is not a machine for making profits, but sometimes we experience high losses due to the influence of emotions that cannot be controlled in gambling.
507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you willing to bet $50 spin for a chance to win $42 million? on: January 06, 2024, 10:08:17 PM
Why it must be $50?

If you can bet $0.01 and has a chance to win $84K (if we calculate using the same ratio), I don't think $84K is small for most people including the first world country. The amount to spin isn't the problem, the real problem is luck since most people don't have it or not yet happen.
I agree with your opinion, we can gamble according to the limited funds used for allocation of gambling funds and we can place bets for $0.01 for hundreds of spins which can possibly get a higher chance of winning, we don't need to hope for a jackpot of $84k but imagine if we get profit of $1k or $5k just from a spin of $0.01, so we don't have the ambition to win high profits with high betting capital but we have to gamble responsibly and don't damage financial management just because of the ambition to win high profits, but you don't know the unpublicized risk of large losses of every gambler.
508  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: January 06, 2024, 09:24:37 PM
Despite we have established the fact that,  it is important to read the terms and conditions of the casino before registering on them,  we have mentioned also how bad it is for a casino to suddenly wake up and demand for KYC verifications from users.

We have also to mention those casinos that this thread is really meant for,  which are those casinos that demand for unreasonable and unrealistic demands like government-specifically issued data such as tax numbers, These casinos are doing that to frustrate the gamblers and their intentions are pour scam,  we have to identify and tag such actors,  because they are the ones that are destroying the market for the reputable ones.
If the casino asks for KYC verification but does not mention details in the terms and conditions it can still be considered, but if the KYC data required is a tax number, passport or other data that not everyone has then the casino makes KYC verification difficult because they delay or do not process withdrawals , this case occurred at casinos that were indicated to be scammers because they made it difficult for users to request withdrawals.

So the important factor for every gambler is to choose a top casino to gamble at and avoid gambling at a new casino that is not reputable and trusted because you will be in trouble when applying for a withdrawal because it asks for required documents that you don't have so you won't be able to withdraw funds that have been deposited to the new casino.
509  Economy / Gambling / Re: UNREAL!! Sportsbet.io pays out a $42,000,000 USDT Casino WIN!! on: January 06, 2024, 08:50:45 PM
i can't say anything else, but the winner really got the best New Year's gift of his entire life, i'm really jealous and proud of him, Sportbet.io is a truly fair, trustworthy and transparent gambling site.
i'm a little curious, whether the winner can immediately withdraw his winnings at once, that's a very large amount, it definitely requires a long process that requires verification and also concrete validation to avoid unwanted things in the future.  for anyone who says gambling is bad, you are very wrong, you are the only one who is not lucky or capable of gambling responsibly.
I don't know how this fantastic winning withdrawal scheme works, but the team has ensured that the gamblers have received their winnings, it seems the team provides extra services to speed up the withdrawal process as the best gift for New Year's Eve, although some people ask for proof of withdrawal but I'm sure the team has processed the withdrawal of winnings. Once these winnings are released it will record a new history of the highest winnings in crypto-based casinos and trust in crypto casinos will increase because of the easy and transparent withdrawal process services.
510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here who retired with Gambling winnings ? on: January 06, 2024, 08:25:50 PM
Anyone here who retired with Gambling winnings ?  If not, how much you think is sufficient to retire as Gambling winning ?
It's like you don't gamble much because I really don't understand the question, because if you have actually tagged a specific amount you will walk out with as your deserved reward then I think it's a joke because you don't plans these things and besides I have never ever once heard someone talk about such thing before and that's because it's difficult although some luck bastard might have hit a huge win but retiring with the win is the actual problem. Besides why would you retire when you know you can always go back and play for the fun of the games well you can retire if only you play for the winnings alone.
If we review that statement then we will understand it from a different perspective that would you retire from gambling if you have won the total winnings from gambling?, I think we will answer with a different explanation because some gamblers make that decision when they are in financial conditions that focus on using it for priority needs or you experience consecutive losses every day and then you will decide to stop gambling before losing all winnings from previous gambling.

If we stop gambling because we want to keep our winnings from gambling then we can avoid gambling addiction but if we stop gambling due to big losses then it is difficult for people to decide to stop gambling because they still hope to recover losses from other gambling.
511  Economy / Economics / Re: Habits that can lead to your financial failure in 2024 on: January 05, 2024, 09:41:12 PM
With all the stressful things that are happening on this world today, it's just best to stay where you are comfortable. Staying on the comfort zone doesn't mean that you are incompetent or any negative thing. I don't understand why these so called motivational speakers are always giving that factor as if someone should be forced to get out of comfort zone. What if it's all about the stability and that person who's in the comfort zone is able to provide still for the family. Protect your peace, if you're good staying on your comfort zone, no need to validate your feelings and beliefs by anyone.
Many people will assume differently about remaining in the comfort zone because you feel satisfied with the economic conditions you get from your current job, but in terms of economic factors, your economic condition statistics are not improving, but you don't realize that the level of economic stability will get worse because the impact of higher costs of necessities, the influence of inflation, and other things that require additional income to increase monthly income. Actually, we don't need to get out of our comfort zone, but we need to increase our creativity to get additional income from freelance work that is not tied to your main job.
512  Economy / Economics / Re: New business idea. on: January 05, 2024, 08:59:43 PM
That's why I admire those businessmen who have started with little to no capital. Some might ask if it's actually possible to start with zero as capital, I'd say yes that it's really possible but you have to start somewhere to make the business bloom and you're going to make efforts, and when we say efforts, not just efforts that you're going to do but a lot of things. The grit that these businessmen did before they're experiencing the success of their lives now have come from something and even to nothing.
Every businessman starts his first career as a worker in a company or other business, they are not just looking for capital to launch a personal business in the future but they want to increase their knowledge for business management and make their business in the future better than the business they have previously worked in, they must set targets for starting a new career to launch a personal business and maybe the target of working for up to 5 years is enough to collect savings to create a new business.

Many successful businessmen followed this method to start their careers as workers and they have now become businessmen with millionaire assets which are divided into several companies, so there is nothing impossible to become a successful businessman in the future if you try hard with all your efforts to make your dreams come true.
513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The shorter the time you spend the better on: January 05, 2024, 08:07:05 PM
Quite agree with your submission, this is actually one of the reasons why I always prefer betting on sports anytime I have a low bankroll, over playing slot or casino games.

Slot or casino games are not games to be played wit a small bankroll, for like you said, the gambler must have ended up with an empty bankroll before he or she gets an opportunity to win some good multipliers or free/bonus spins which could help or assist the player to winning a handsome amount of money.

For me, and in general though, I still believe winning in slot games isnt much about how much time a gambler spends playing, but it's more about how much lucky the gambler is, but then, it still makes more sense to play slot games with good enough bankroll than with a tiny one.
Slot gambling does not rely on game analysis and you will not be able to measure your luck with slot gambling if you are gambling with a low bankroll. You need to know that the chance of getting lucky in slot gambling is very low and there is no guarantee that luck can cover previous gambling losses.

I agree with your opinion that an effective step to reduce gambling time is to change slot gambling to a sports betting scheme and you will avoid gambling addiction because you only gamble when your favorite team is playing or other matches but you will be sure that the team has high odds for win the match.
514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why gambling beginners must not joke with casino announcement on: January 05, 2024, 04:38:05 PM
However, the main question continues to be the fact that a beginner in gambling still needs to somehow find extremely useful and truthful information in the threads of a particular casino or gambling section.  And this is very difficult for a person who does not even know about the existence of our wonderful forum.  Simply because search engines for queries about casinos do not list the gambling section on the forum as the first link.  Here, first of all, in search engines, such concepts as Bitcoin and cryptocurrency are indexed.
And by the way, apparently this is also to some extent the concern of our forum administrators.
True, it is possible that advertising of some large casinos using  Signature campaign here on BTT still helps to partially solve the issue of redirecting those interested in gambling to crypto casinos to new, still completely inexperienced players.  This is of great benefit not only for advertisers, but also for beginners’ searches for specific and objective information about various crypto-casinos that interests them.
Every crypto-based casino must have a discussion thread to include topics of information updates, casino reputation discussions, and other matters related to assessing the casino from various aspects including fair gaming factors, system security, gambling feasibility and others. So if the casino team provides a thread it will be recommended by the search engine to the gambling discussion on the BTT forum on the first page of the search, but some new casinos will not do that because the scammers are afraid that the purpose of the gambling fraud will quickly be revealed based on the analysis of the seniors who can test the casino system and their can identify scam casinos easily with some special points.

Bitcointalk forum has provided various discussion threads including a special thread for gambling, so every crypto beginner should start their knowledge on this thread to find the right casino and avoid scam casinos, they can easily find top casinos on the signature of every good reputation account that has proven promote the best top crypto casinos in the forum.
515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who among you here is gambling at work? on: January 05, 2024, 10:48:01 AM
Some are like that on having some concern but there are ones who do really love on giving out some complaints basing up on what you do, this is why you should really be careful
on the decisions that you are making but in general sense on which its never been that good on playing whether gambling or those typical mobile games while at work. You arent going to office
or field just for you to play and you arent getting paid just for you to have that kind of enjoyment. Just like the rest been saying that its never been that worth on making yourself
or putting  your work at at risks because once those complaints been raised then youre fucked up. You would really be starting to have regrets on the time that you would
be losing your job. LOL!
Yes, we have to focus on priority work without interfering with gambling activities, even if he only gambles during breaks, you can't hide gambling forever and your boss will find out from indications of your behavior or work history that are not optimal, so calm down and think about it before you regret it losing your job and losing your main income.

I only give advice not to gamble when you are working, but you are free to gamble when you are relaxing without being tied to any work, you must put everything in its proper place and never neglect the priority of your work. Based on statistics, the unemployment rate is very high, but you are still lucky to have a job as your main income, so don't ever waste your work just because of the influence of gambling while you are working.
516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who among you here is gambling at work? on: January 04, 2024, 05:05:54 PM
I was an employee before but never experienced gambling while I was at work. But I have a colleague at work who often plays gambling online, and that is poker, and sometimes he tells me that after work he goes to the casino, where he often loses and the money is low. amount of $100.

But he has a strong will to play while at work because he is my superior on duty, so it is okay for him to do that because no one knows, and he knows that no one will report to him in the main office.
I think you should remind your colleagues not to gamble while working, even though the company you work for does not implement regulations to prohibit gambling in the work environment, every employee should understand to avoid actions that involve neglecting work or losing focus on your work.

However, I am surprised that your friend often experiences losing bets every day but he still continues gambling without remembering that the salary he earns is just to cover gambling losses, but the impact of losing gambling can have an effect on high anger and emotional control that is difficult to control, this psychological condition should be it is not appropriate when you are working and you can scold anyone when you lose from gambling and experience problems from your work.
517  Economy / Economics / Re: MicroStrategy Buys $250M in Bitcoin, Calling the Crypto ‘Superior to Cash’ on: January 04, 2024, 03:54:13 PM
I am not sure exactly what kinds of behaviors or parameters would trigger an audit, and I am not even sure if the SEC has authority to issue such an audit randomly or sua sponte... In other words, it could well be the case that some kind of an official charge or proceeding might need to happen before they are even able to issue an audit.
Yes, the SEC has regulations to examine any company or individual for violations of law, market manipulation, scam activities, or other crypto-related cases. The SEC cannot intervene with any assets belonging to a company or individual if there are no indications of violations of securities rules, they cannot spontaneously audit MSTR's bitcoin asset holdings even though MSTR has claimed to have a portfolio of 158,245 bitcoins (coingecko source).

MSTR is involved in business software development but is a non-crypto company, I think it is unlikely they will face the SEC to audit their bitcoin asset holdings, additionally there are no reports of shareholders experiencing losses due to the impact of MSTR investing any funds into bitcoin investments.
518  Economy / Economics / Re: The steps to follow in creating a budget on: December 29, 2023, 03:39:20 PM
However, some instances may prevent us from following these rules. Unpredicted events may suddenly happen and yet our budget cannot cater those emergency needs, hence we end up crossing the rule and touching the budget we're not suppose to use. But if we have saved emergency funds, I think our budget will not be put into compromise. There should be different budget funds that we need to consider, and sticking to each budget will make us live stress free and happy.

It takes discipline to make a budget works. Otherwise, your budget plan will be useless since you're not even following it in the first place. Patience and discipline are the keys.
Everyone has different financial levels based on their daily income or monthly salary, although discipline in following these rules will not achieve maximum results. For example, if their financial level is low, maybe they set aside some of their income for emergency savings every week or month, but emergency savings will also not meet the required budget.

However, at least those who have implemented financial management rules will be useful in the future, even though they cannot fully cover emergency needs if an unexpected event occurs but already have part of the budget for emergency needs.
519  Economy / Economics / Re: MicroStrategy Buys $250M in Bitcoin, Calling the Crypto ‘Superior to Cash’ on: December 29, 2023, 03:14:53 PM
I mean is there any proof that they are actually buying? It will be good to see even some indirect evidence
do they owe you any responsibility of showing details to support such claim?

Public companies must make these kinds of disclosures on a quarterly basis, but they most likely don't have to show the actual proof - except if they were to get audited by the SEC or whatever agencies could be involved in such monitoring.. as fillippone had mentioned such accountability in their disclosures.
You are right, MicroStrategy company publishes DCA strategies to the public and they should be responsible for providing proof of bitcoin purchase by providing bitcoin ownership instructions although they don't have to show every bitcoin asset held in multiple addresses, at least publish their portfolio for basic proof for those who doubt the statement they.

However, MicroStrategy has not yet appeared with the SEC for a specific audit of its bitcoin acquisitions, but I am sure MicroStrategy complies with every financial and other relevant regulation, I am sure they will not provide false information claims of any bitcoin purchases.

If they gambling in physical casino, it gives a chance for their friends to know if they're gamblers. What if people who gamble in online casino? if they didn't show if they're gamblers, no one will know and giving them advice to handle their addictions.
Every gambler cannot hide gambling from anyone, they will not be able to hide durian from smell and the fact is that gambling activities are known to everyone. However, I would like some tips to find out the character of gambling addicts so that you can give advice to them to stop gambling addiction

- always financial problems, every gambler will experience financial problems because they lose control in managing funds, need money just to gamble, owe too much and even steal.
- changes in behavior, gamblers tend to be emotional about things they shouldn't be, excessively anxious and more closed. The point is, his character is not like you knew before.
- relationships with family or relatives, because of the impact of the two bad attitudes above, many gambling addicts no longer have good relations with their parents and family because they have threatened their parents to give them the amount of money they asked for, some cases gamblers even pawned their parents' asset certificates just to get money to gamble.
