Or are these unavoidable ?
Pay attention to the list of coins above, that the list of altcoins is managed by the team and we will experience the worst risk when they are greedy to sell the token allocation from the team wallet. The list of scam coins above is only part of the hundreds of scam coins that scammers create every day, the solution to avoid this problem is that don't invest in altcoins because the main factor for losses experienced from altcoin investments. So if you are involved investing in altcoins you have to be very careful to choose altcoin investments, I only believe in investing in ETH and BNB for the top altcoins.
1362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: November 29, 2022, 08:39:47 PM
It's a mixed report though, others say that he is going to be back in the ring and try again, but obviously, he is just playing it 'safe' in this exhibition matches. And I think majority here will agree that it's better for Manny to retire in the professional level, he has nothing to proved anymore. Let the younger generation took over the 147 lbs division, we have Spence and Crawford and others already.

So we will see him in the ring again, but it's just a exhibition match and me being a fan, I'm cool with that.

And maybe there will be more exhibitions for him in the future.
But there are no valid reports of Manny returning for pro fighting, but I hope Manny has his last professional fight before retirement, maybe he can fight boxers not much different for his age. Exhibition fights will increase his skills before he plans a big fight for the championship fight. I'm sure he will end his boxer career for the biggest fight.
1363  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stop the panic, I doubt we will see 14k or less Bitcoin on: November 27, 2022, 09:58:39 PM
In times of bad conditions in every sector, some whale investors may try to take more chances by moving the market further. But before investing, you should invest with having good knowledge. At this moment the market is above 16 thousand. I think the investment is quite appropriate in this situation.
Even though the price is in the lowest position but we have to diversify assets for the current purchase price until the next lowest price to reduce the risk of loss because the market is unpredictable and very ranging during the bearish market phase, but if you add assets for the long term it is recommended that you use 30 % for the current price and the rest determines the lowest purchase price.
1364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Zero KYC tolerance gambling platforms on: November 27, 2022, 09:19:50 PM
Although, we do have still casinos nowadays which are fully anonymous and can be trusted. This is why as a gambler then we do still have some options
whether we do comply with those KYC-ed sites or would really be sticking into those anonymous ones.
All gamblers can choose a gambling platform without any requirements related to identity or the casino has followed the requirements of the regulator, but we are talking about data protection and fair play, then if you find a casino that is completely anonymous and meets both criteria then it's your decision, but many top casinos must follow the rules of the regulations but not strictly require KYC for all users but only for high withdrawals, high wins, suspected money laundering and others.
1365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I Am So Done With Betting Until.... on: November 27, 2022, 09:00:36 PM
True we must only gamble we can afford to lose to avoid the scenario OP has.  Gambling is called gambling for a reason and there is no 100% sure win if we wagered our money.  I hope @OP will accept things that happen and move on.  And I also wish you all the luck @OP if you ever decided to come back to betting again.  I hope you can recover your losses with an interest to make up for all the frustration you experienced.  Wink
You have to be sure that there is no 100% exact accuracy to predict in sports betting so make sure we gamble as much as we can because of the risk of losing funds after you place funds for bets. So many people lost their funds from Argentina's defeat in the early rounds of the world cup match, so if the gambler remains consistent with his fan country's team then he will be optimistic about supporting Argentina so that he wins bets in the second session of the Argentina match.
1366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: November 27, 2022, 08:46:39 PM
Is that right? I really thought that it was all Manny Pacquiao's share that will be given to the charity excluding DK Yoo. If that is really the case then it is indeed good that he actually agreed to take some part of his share and donate it to Manny Pacquiao's chosen charity. Well, I guess that is DK Yoo's way to thank Manny Pacquiao because he have been chosen to be the latter's first dance since he retired from the industry.
Based on reports from news media that the funds from the boxing fight will be donated to charity but no news leaks it will be given 100% without exception or most of it will be donated, I think the announcement of the amount of donation will be made after the fight. I agree with your opinion, DK Yoo feels very lucky to have been given the opportunity to fight with this legendary boxer, even though he stated that it was difficult to win the fight, he is still eager to train and he will make a surprise attack for Manny Pacquiao.
1367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: November 27, 2022, 08:16:01 PM
It seems that Glover Texeira just declined to fight Magomed Ankalaev because it was really short notice and he needed much time to prepare to fight Magomed Ankalaev, for me Glover Texeira really knows Magomed Ankalaev that he can not withstand him when the fight goes down ground he really needs time to prepared and I think this is a great opportunity again for him whoever wins the Ankalaev VS Blachowicz fight he got a chance to fight for the title, and he will get plenty of time to prepare for it,

For me, it is really a bummer for Jiri Prochazka to be injured and worse he needs surgery for it, before the fight it was bad luck befell for him but it surely happens,
Actually, the reason Glover Texeira was not ready to face a replacement fighter against Ankalaev was because his fighter style was very different, but Texeira was already preparing to fight Blachowicz at UFC 282, Texeira asked to postpone the fight with Ankalaev for the next fight but the UFC side may not be happy with his request, so the UFC set the fight for Ankalaev vs Blachowicz for the UFC championship title. Although Texeira is very disappointed with this decision, he must be prioritized for the main challenger for the UFC championship title between Ankalaev or Blachowicz.
1368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The market will come back bigger again on: November 26, 2022, 09:59:02 PM
Nah, I doubt that we will crossed $40k just because we have hit $20k and up in the late October or early November. The market is still bearish and the best that we can get this December is $25k.
Actually crypto is still bearish in the long term so it won't be easy for the price to increase significantly at the end of this year, so we have to avoid speculation about that because it's hard to restore investor confidence after the FTX case, but I'm sure next year the market will enter the recovery stage and we expect that 2024 to be a historical year for recovery of highs and many predictions for new ATH.
1369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Careful where you connect your wallet on: November 26, 2022, 09:57:53 PM
Hey are you kidding??
You create your post today and your transaction history showing about 251 days ago and you coming up to cook a story today and your btt account created July 22, 2022? Now how do you even mean, note that your token can only be tempped whenever you compromise your key phrase or possibly you were too careless to reveal phrase and private key.
If you think you are not safe using metamask wallet then try using trustwallet I have been using for long and no bad news or fraudulent activity recorded so far.
I think it doesn't matter if he takes evidence from cases that have been experienced even though it's been a long time, but the important factor is he shared a useful thread to be aware of connecting wallets with third parties because there is a possibility that we can lose assets in our wallet, many beginners don't know about it because they are involved in airdrop event by connecting a wallet with a fake project without knowing the risk of losing assets in the wallet.
1370  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low will BTC's market price go? on: November 26, 2022, 09:50:26 PM
I always believe a strong hand will be willing to be a holder for a longer period of time.
In fact I really believe they are not going to lose faith in bitcoin just because the Luna and FTX cases have had an impact on the bitcoin price.
For them bitcoin remains potentially more expensive in the long term and as you said, they will sell in the next ATH cycle and take huge profits.

It's up to them whether now many people have lost faith in bitcoin or not but I would have no doubt that bitcoin has a better future especially as the impact of the market will soon lessen over time. Buy bitcoin now and hold it is a better thought than just watching.
Luna and FTX cases are not the biggest cases in the history of cryptocurrency but many other big cases have been resolved because community trust in crypto will never decrease, but for the recovery process from big cases it takes time because hacking cases of exchange wallets can worsen crypto prices unless assets are frozen and any transactions from that wallet will not accept deposits to any exchange. However, many people do not take advantage of Bitcoin's very low price to invest and they will regret it if the price level increases significantly in the following year.
1371  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why getting merits seems to be difficult for beginners. on: November 26, 2022, 09:41:32 PM
Some beginners want to get ahead without working hard and think that getting merits is as easy as snapping their fingers. This is not true. You have to work hard and put in the time if you want to get ahead in life. Merits are a reward for your hard work, not something that just falls into your lap because you are nice or good. It should be appreciated and respected, and it should not be taken lightly.
We need hard work and consistency to get merit by increasing quality posts and sharing important news for the future of crypto that is useful for forum members, I think getting merit is not the main objective factor because any quality post will be rewarded with +1 merit, but most importantly that we can contribute to improving the quality of the forum.
1372  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Two important lesson I learn from this forum this year 2022 on: November 26, 2022, 09:35:14 PM
Good to hear that most of us now are already aware about how those centralized exchanges may lose everything we have in the future. If not with this FTX hacking, people will always trust those online exchanges that have no guarantees if they can always be reliable all the time. It’s better to find a hardware wallet that is more secured and reliable than those numerous centralized exchanges online.
Many people don't realize that "Your wallet, your management" but the case that happened to FTX has proven that the adage is true, even we can't withdraw funds from the exchange without their consent and after their fund crisis no withdrawals allowed, FTX case is history the worst case for exchanges so that the recovery of crypto prices from this impact is predicted to take years.
1373  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is likely to head towards a price of $13,000 on: November 26, 2022, 09:27:32 PM
the price can take years to recover, so when you buy be aware that the price can take more than 2 years or 3 years or 4 years to recover, while there is this war that is causing a financial crisis and also with this history of FTX so the price will take a long time to recover, people who do hodl are already prepared for this, so you also have to be prepared to hold for many years
We cannot predict when the Bitcoin price will recover and it is possible that it will recover quickly or it will take a few years, so we are advised to use the DCA method to buy BTC at high prices to avoid big losses, anyone who is going to invest in crypto must use funds for assets long term because the possibility of recovery is predicted to recover in 2024 but prioritize your analysis because basically there are no predictions with 100% accuracy because the asking price may increase next year.
1374  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Invest without predicting a time of bull on: November 25, 2022, 09:58:35 PM
invest without thinking about profits and losses, in bearish or bullish market conditions, of course, you have to use money that you won't use for anything. because if the investment is used for the long term you have to hold for a long period of time or according to the price you have targeted. Imagining about the upcoming bull market may be helpful, as much as possible to avoid panic when the market falls again. If you have spare cash, add assets at a lower price. after the bear market will come the bull market that's for sure.
You are right, all funds used on exchanges for long and short term investment purposes are not allocated for main purposes, so we need financial management, if we have allocated money for long term assets then we don't need to worry about the effects of crypto market movements for the long term even though the movement pattern is not as expected in the following year, there is no panic to cut loss because during the bullish phase the price recovery will increase significantly.
1375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Casino tokens such as BFG, OWL or TFS on: November 25, 2022, 09:49:59 PM
If at any time any platform like Owl games or betfury stops its operations, their coins may lose value and dump hard but we can still divide our investment in both of these coins and hope anything bad does not happen. Also since our investment will be in multiple coins, if there is a scam in any one coin, the rest of the coins will still give us a good profit in the next bull season.
I hope OWL and BFG coins are included in the potential coins for the gambling token category but we never know what happens in the future and we wish them all the best. We don't need to expect high profits from altcoin investments and we are advised to anticipate losses investing in altcoins by dividing the lowest investment allocation for altcoins and the rest for BTC investment in the long term for profits and recovery from losses.
1376  Economy / Gambling / Re: How To Access gambling site without VPN on: November 25, 2022, 09:38:51 PM
In my country most gambling sites are blocked and I have to access them using a VPN.  Sorry in advance, I don't really like the tutorial you give, because I'm a person who doesn't want to be complicated so I prefer to subscribe to a VPN, there are many that have cheap subscription fees and don't spend your money on daily living expenses.  Even if you think subscribing to a VPN is still too heavy or expensive, then download a free VPN, there are many in the Playstore and in the Appstore.
Actually the main discussion above is very easy to use because you only need to replace the existing DNS in the chrome browser but that method doesn't work anymore in my location because the provider has been updated to limit access using Cloudflare DNS, so I added a VPN extension to access sites that are blocked by the government but using access using VPN or DNS may be very risky and even some gambling platforms have banned using VPN in terms and conditions.
1377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Zero KYC tolerance gambling platforms on: November 25, 2022, 09:21:10 PM
There are some more reasons other than the privacy ones, that gamblers do not want to do the KYC on the gambling site. There s no grantee that your KYC data is secured on the gambling site and they could misuse your data or even sell it to third parties and get good money out of it

I understand that government want regulations and impose the KYC but what steps they did took to ensure the safety of this data by the sites ?
I think government should be more concerned about it and introduce strict rules for the safety of people's data.
I hope the jurisdictions monitoring user data have completed KYC verification on each partner of the gambling platform, they must ensure user data is protected safely and pressure the gambling platform team not to misuse user KYC data. However, we expect the role of the government to punish if any perpetrator has misused user KYC data for criminal purposes and even sold data anonymously on the black market web.
1378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Casino tokens such as BFG, OWL or TFS on: November 25, 2022, 09:05:10 PM
If the tokens can get a place on the top exchanges, they are worth investing in but before we invest in those tokens, we should find out more. Indeed, currently, many tokens offer good APRs and tempt investors and as long as the project is still running well, it can be an investment option. But you have to pay attention to the amount of money you have to invest and only use the money you can afford.
Tokens that have been traded on top exchanges are not all worth investing in without analysis and research, we have to update the latest news to avoid damaging the reputation of the platform from internal project problems like what happened to FTX and Luna, so we have to check every performance and feedback from gambling tokens before you invest just because you are interested in high APR but the risk of price damage is very high in bear market conditions.

Quote
So far, BFG and OWL are still competing to get more supporters and that's normal because, without supporters, the project will not be able to progress and develop. We'll see which one gets a good position in the market first.
Currently BFG and OWL are in the top list for gambling tokens even though they are not yet listed on binance, but BFG is superior because it has more liquidity and trading volume and also a bigger community, but investing in both coins is very risky so you research everything related to risk of gambling token investment.
1379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Zero KYC tolerance gambling platforms on: November 25, 2022, 08:36:44 PM
There are still a few casinos that do not charge KYC. If you are on a gambling site that is not licensed by Malta, Curacao or any other reputable jurisdiction, there is a good chance you can play without KYC. If you are on a gambling site licensed by MGA or Curacao, rest assured that a check is necessary as the licensing providers require it. The rules have been tightened up considerably in recent years, I have read, so in fact gambling sites have no other choice. We would all prefer to play without KYC, but that is a thing of the past. There are also sites where you have to account for your entire wealth.
There are several regulations from leading licensing jurisdictions that have been tightened to verify user data on each gambling platform so that KYC rules have been officially added to the terms and conditions in gambling, but only some gamblers refuse KYC regulations for privacy reasons but other gamblers have no problem with KYC because works to avoid money laundering and other crimes, KYC regulations are not a problem for gamblers if we use top gambling platforms that have been recommended in forums. I recommend avoiding gambling platforms that offer zero KYC because they are not licensed by official jurisdictions so the reputation of the gambling platforms is very low and our account assets are not guaranteed to be protected safely.
1380  Economy / Speculation / Re: What are the chances of FTX raising funds... on: November 24, 2022, 11:58:27 AM
FTX does not have the assets or the money to do this, and it is unfair to expect for someone else to pay for such a thing when they are not responsible for this debacle, so at best those which lost money with FTX could recover a small percentage of their capital and then FTX will disappear.
I don't think anyone or the company will be fundraising to cover the loss because FTX should be responsible for recovering customer losses from the reserve fund and not submitting free fund request proposals to others, the reputation of the FTX exchange has been damaged and no one will want to partner with them and no fundraising approved unless it's just bullshit news, so don't expect FTX to recover and avoid FTT coin investment, don't expect coin to increase significantly like recovery of Luna coin price after dump.
