501  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2023-12-04 Cointelegraph - Bitcoin prices should ‘logically’ correct in Jan on: December 06, 2023, 09:14:36 AM
Well, it will only be a short correction just after the application was approved, but in the long-term that small recovery will be absorbed with the buy-in of the institutional investors.

I think most of these outrageous predictions priced in that there will be a small hype cycle and their predictions come from the long-term injection of the institutional investors.

Rome was not built in one day....  Wink
502  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Paradox of Privacy and Decentralization: Banning Mixers on Bitcointalk.org on: December 06, 2023, 08:58:27 AM
The thing is.... Bitcoin Mixers are the big unknown. We have seen Bitcoin Mixers saying that they are not logging any traffic and then it gets shut down and you find that they have stored Terabytes of data that are raided by law enforcement.

There are Mixers out there that are most probably "Honey Traps" for criminals and they are being used by law enforcement to monitor transactions. (Like some Exit Nodes on Tor)  Roll Eyes
503  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Closing Central Bank is Non-negotiable says pro-bitcoin Argentina Pres Milei on: December 06, 2023, 08:53:08 AM
Well, it is obvious that their Central Bank are useless and that it is dragging down their economy, so it will be better to shut it down, before it leads to an inevitable collapse.

The problem is still the political decisions that are made.. that are contributing to their bad economy. They should also know that the World Bank will pull it's loans to the country, if they drop Fiat currencies, because that is the hold that they have over countries.  Roll Eyes
504  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks are the cause of millions of crypto project failures on: December 05, 2023, 01:01:55 PM
I am actually amazed that there has not been a single attempt to create a Bank for Crypto currency supporters, by large companies that are currently running huge Crypto companies? I know "Circle" did this in their early days, but they quickly stop supporting Crypto.. when they hooked enough clients for their business to run on it's own. (They did a complete 180 on their Bitcoin supporters)

Banks are slowly losing more and more customers, with their misuse of their power and their greedy behavior. Crypto currencies has given them some competition and it opened some people's eyes, by providing an alternative.  Grin
505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The worst slot provider ever? on: December 05, 2023, 12:50:31 PM
OP, Hacksaw Games are harder to win, because they usually have the highest Variance, but when you play long enough, you will eventually win something more than what you win with Pragmatic games.

In my experience Wazdan gives more frequent small wins, but you also have to play longer before you hit it. I have personally hit more 400x plus wins on Wazdan, than any other slot from all the other Slot providers.  Tongue

I also opt to play Wazdan games when there are a Slot challenge, because it is easier to hit the bigger multipliers if you turbo spin.  Wink
506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sympathetic gamblers looses itself on: December 05, 2023, 12:42:05 PM
So who are you talking about? ==> Paid streamers that are putting up a show with the casinos money.. or the average Joe on the street that believe them and try to simulate their supposed HUGE Jackpot wins and then lose all their money?

Yes, unfortunately the majority of people have to lose for others to win... that is how gambling works. You have a  Sad face when you lose and a  Smiley face when you win.
507  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2023-12-03 CNBC/Money Report - Crypto execs say the bull run is underway on: December 05, 2023, 12:37:20 PM
I like the way people look out of the window and then see storm clouds on the horizon and then predict that it is going to rain.  Roll Eyes This is what these so-called experts are doing now... and people gobble up these predictions ..as if it is guaranteed.

So, what happens if the Spot ETF application are denied? What happens when the hype around the next Halving blows over.... will we still see those ATHs that are predicted?  Huh
508  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Bitcoin Bar in Sofia, Bulgaria looks Interesting on: December 05, 2023, 12:32:34 PM
I am very glad to see this, but they have to do something that will encourage people to come to this Bar. We arranged with one of our local Pub owners to accept Bitcoin, but only if we have our weekly Bitcoin meetups at his establishment. So in doing this, he knows that people will support this initiative and he can keep on accepting Bitcoin.

We had a local Tyre fitment centre accepting Bitcoin and he stopped doing it, because people did not support it. Let's support businesses that accept Bitcoin as a payment option... or they will not support us.  Roll Eyes
509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos after the shutdowns of mixers on: December 04, 2023, 08:30:28 AM
We all knew it was just a question of time, before countries start working together to stop these mixing services.  Roll Eyes  I think the people using these mixing services, will probably just move over to privacy coins or things like "Coinjoin" type services.

Yes, I agree that people need pseudo anonymity to protect their financial privacy, but unfortunately a large amount of criminals also use these same services and that is where it has gone all haywire.  Angry

510  Economy / Gambling / Re: MoneyPot - Crash with the lowest house edge on: December 04, 2023, 08:20:46 AM
Ok, so it is just another "Crash" site.... with a supposed lower house edge than the rest? I joined, played for a while and did not win anything higher than what I get on other sites.  Roll Eyes

There are also other sites giving the same house edge, like Stake.com ...and they have way more active players. What can you offer us that will make your site.. stand out against the other sites?

Hope to hear from you soon.... because we need something "new" to break the boring old concept.  Tongue
511  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Stories on Bitcoin's Value on: December 04, 2023, 07:58:38 AM
Oh my...... we have one of those "intrinsic value" believers again.  Roll Eyes  Those people who think a signature of some Treasurer on a piece of  linen/cotton gives it value.  Roll Eyes Those people that think that something only has value, when their trusted  ::)government says so....  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I also want to see what he/she says the difference between the "digital" numbers on a Bank ledger or database is.... compared to the digital numbers in a Blockchain.  Tongue (Beyond the fact that the one on the centralized database are heavily manipulated and the one on the decentralized Blockchain are not)  Cheesy

Wake up .... the world are changing..  Wink
512  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Hits $40,000 for First Time Since April 2022 on: December 04, 2023, 07:47:43 AM
Some economic experts says with the approval of the Bitcoin ETF, we can expect a Bitcoin price of $100 000+ ...but I think that is just speculation. The last time when we had the "perfect" storm, with everything going according to plan, the Bitcoin price only went to $60 000+... so why would the Spot ETF have such a huge influence on the price?

We should guard against over optimism ....and rather opt for a lower prediction to protect people from disappointment, because their expectation would be set too high.   Roll Eyes
513  Economy / Economics / Re: Flash Mob Theft -> closure of brick and mortar stores -it's economic impact? on: December 03, 2023, 01:06:18 PM
I think your justice system should make a few examples of these people. They think it is cool to loot stores like this and I think this must be seen as economic terrorism. People seem to think they can do things like this, without facing any harsh consequences and that perception should be changed.... this is not just theft.

Also, beef up the security and also place undercover law enforcement agents within the shopping centers to clamp down on this. We cannot tolerate hooligans and criminals sabotaging the economy and the businesses of hard working people.  Angry Angry Angry
514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling are mainly for rich and lucky mind. on: December 03, 2023, 12:31:31 PM
I will not call it a "lucky mind" but rather a "positive mind" ...

People with a positive attitude obviously take more bold risks than people with a negative attitude. Yes, lucky people can also become rich with a single big jackpot win, but those people can also take too many big risks and lose all that money.

People should just take calculated risks in gambling.. within limits, then you will be successful.  Wink
515  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎰yummygame.io| Join NEW Crypto games! 🎉 on: December 03, 2023, 12:03:42 PM
I think your launch date of January are wrong timing ...and you would have been better off launching it in December, when everyone still have money and where they were in a silly mood to spend money.

Most people have spend all their money in December and you will have less new customers signing up in January. It would have also been better if you added the main menus for your websites or even a small introduction to the site and what it would be offering in the future. (When you click on the menus, the popup text will say ..."launching this feature in January"  Roll Eyes
516  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you sell your bitcoin to blackrock? on: December 03, 2023, 09:19:28 AM
I will let it go at the right price, because I can use that money to pay off debt and also to invest it to get passive income to secure my future. I always had a 80/20 split in all my Bitcoin investments... 80% of all the bitcoins I bought went to hoarding... and 20% was spend on daily expenses.

So, if I sell the coins I hoarded... I can then use the passive income from the proceeds of the investments to buy more coins. Yes, I would be starting at the bottom again, but I will tick a box to be able to have a passive income that will sustain me.  Wink
517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Joy of forgotten Bitcoin accounts... on: December 02, 2023, 09:30:58 AM
I think a lot of people should consider login in to their old webmail accounts to see if they might still have accounts that are funded and accounts that they have forgotten about. https://www.cnbc.com/2023/11/30/google-could-delete-your-old-gmail-account-as-soon-as-friday.html

You might also want to dip into those old Bitcoin addresses that you used before all of these forks, there are some treasures to be found. I forgot about some of them and I read one of your posts and I remembered that I still had some of those FREE tokens. (Eg.. Bitcoin Cash/trash)  Grin
518  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎰 FlukyOne.com | The Ulimitate Online Casino Experience on: December 02, 2023, 09:23:58 AM
The first thing I was presented with was the Banner about the "Cookies Policy" and it only accepts the option to click on "Accept"  Roll Eyes You have acces to a wide variety of slots from a lot of 3rd party slot providers, so that makes up for the "cookie" thing.  Grin

"To register as a player, you must provide the required Know Your Customer (KYC) information"... so they are not claiming to be without KYC like many of the other sites and then suddenly start asking it, when they get enough gamblers hooked to their site.
519  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can save the USA and dollar on: December 02, 2023, 09:14:08 AM
The only thing that can "save" the USA and the Dollar now, are to stop fighting in other people's wars or to stop funding it. People cannot imagine how much money the US pumped in the "War against terrorism" in the middle east and now into the Russia and Ukrainian conflict and also the Israel vs Hamas war.  Roll Eyes

Did they actually win any of these wars? ISIS are stronger than ever and Vietnam kicked their ass... and the only people benefiting from this are the people selling the weapons.  Roll Eyes
520  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you see individual satoshi becoming valuable? on: December 02, 2023, 09:04:05 AM
Well, when I started out with my Bitcoin journey, Bitcoin faucets gave out 1000 Satoshi per hour.... and back then it was worth absolutely nothing to write home about. So, today those same satoshi are worth about $0.40 and if you sucked on those faucets for a few hours per day, you would have collected a significant amount for a poor person living in a third world country. (They survive on between $1 to $5 a day)

Take those same Satoshi in about 10 to 20 years from now.. and I think most people will dive into those "dust" wallets to grab every Satoshi that they can get their hands on.  Grin
